"Dad, what’s wrong with him?" she asked after they walked away.

"He’s not seriously ill, it’s just..." Gao Zhou started explaining but suddenly felt something was off, so he stopped halfway.

Bai Ruozhu wanted to ask more, but Jiang Yichun came out of the room directly and pulled her back inside.

"Next time, ask me if there’s anything," he said irritably.

Bai Ruozhu was still somewhat angry with him, retorting stubbornly, "I don’t want to ask you, hmph."

"Is it appropriate to ask others about that kind of thing?" Jiang Yichun glared at her.
