A Vampire's Guide To Summoning Demons (BL)
Chapter 241
Chapter 241: Chapter 241
By noon, Dulce was just getting dressed for the day. He was in a different room this time, as the leisure room was being remodeled to include large lattice windows. Which would open to reveal a small porch to hold flowers.
He had meant his words to Moira about getting her into the western magical institution, so he sought out a Demon to take him to Eynsworth.
He bumped into Kath’tan when he stepped into the hallway, reminded at the sight of him that he had to keep him company that night.
"Take me to the Chancellor of the western magical institution." He demanded.
Kath’tan walked over, suspicion in his blazing purple eyes. "Why?"
Dulce coldly looked him over, "To ask him a favor."
The Fiend was even less pleased to hear this but he held out a hand to Dulce, warping them away right after their hands met.
Chancellor Alden was startled by the sudden arrival of strangers in his office. His kind eyes grew cold at the ability of a Vampire to immediately track him down at any time, thinking of how unfairly powerful Demons were.
"To what do I owe another visit, Lord Montesserrat?" He asked calmly.
Dulce pulled away from Kath’tan and walked over to the table. "Seeing as I passed the entrance exam yet I was turned away from the academy, could you take in a recommendation in my stead?" He asked politely.
Alden was seated stiffly behind his desk, with all the hubbub around the strange Vampire, it was difficult for the news not to spread outside Vampire social circles.
Dulce Montesserrat was a monster.
"Rest assured, she’s human." Dulce tagged on at the Chancellor’s hesitation.
"Very well," He agreed after a beat, but his voice was empty. "It is only right that I do."
Dulce was pleased at how quickly it had been resolved, going over to Kath’tan without a word.
He missed Chancellor Alden’s curious gaze on him, the very fabric of time getting torn apart as he was vanished away.
Alden grew thoughtful; a human woman, Lord Montesserrat had come personally to ask him for a favor regarding a human woman...

"Is it the witch?" Kath’tan was already gruffly asking as soon as they returned to the cottage, an arm wrapped around his waist.
Dulce placed his hands on the Demon’s chest, poised to throw him against the wall. "It is." He answered, his voice brimming with disinterest.
Kath’tan held him close, "Will you keep me company tonight?" He diverted the conversation, his voice low.
Dulce staved off the urge to push the Demon off him, "That’s already a given."
Kath’tan wasn’t put off by the frost in his eyes, pressing their lower bodies flush together. "You don’t have to if you don’t want to."
Dulce scowled now, pushing Kath’tan off him. He didn’t seem to put in any effort but the Fiend was sent a few feet away, knocking lightly into a low table. A short fling with Demons held no importance to him. There was not even the slightest thought of forcing himself to go through with it.
"If I didn’t, you would be all gone." He said haughtily after putting distance between them.
They were in a small room intended for receiving guests. Often unused, the curtains were drawn, but a fire burned in the stone hearth, the only source of light in the room.
Kath’tan went after him almost immediately, like metal to a powerful magnet. It forced Dulce to take a step back, and then another, gravitating closer to the fireplace.
The hearth cast warm light on his hair, igniting the blond-gold locks. He had to gather his composure to stop moving, defiantly facing off Kath’tan.
His confidence faltered when Kath’tan charged right at him, his hold on his waist bruising. His hands lowered even further, savage strength in his groping hands. "Are you sure about that?"
Dulce gasped in genuine shock, his face squished against the Demon’s hard chest. His face burned from a heady mix of embarrassment and arousal, anger brimming from his silver blue eyes.
It was almost like Kath’tan was going out of his way to taunt him...
A moment later there was a loud crash, Kath’tan getting thrown into the wall. The Fiend laughed heartily, immediately getting back on his feet.
Dulce didn’t wait, quick to take his leave. He didn’t trust himself not to snap underneath the Demon’s relentless teasing. He still wanted to uphold his word, he would rather not destroy the cottage with a Demon - even if that Demon was Kath’tan.
The Fiend’s taunting laughter chased his steps as he hurried to the privacy of his room, face flushed and still fuming.
His waist and ass still stung where Kath’tan’s hands had been, and he didn’t have to undress to know that red fingerprints were painted over his skin. Even worse was that the mere thought of it made dark pleasure bloom in his lower belly.
The rest of the day went by pretty fast as he hid away in his room, the sky a gorgeous copper as the sun slowly lowered itself to rest.
At dinner, his cold composure had returned. He didn’t eat much, again turning away from desserts, but he deliberately put a cut of braised meat on Caedos’ plate.
He ignored Kath’tan’s ravenous gaze all the while, aware that he just wanted to elicit a reaction from him... or maybe not, because the Fiend didn’t seem aware of his own attention.
"I’m going to take a bath," He said, rising to his feet.
It had only been a few days since he had suggested this arrangement, there were so many more days to come, it was still too early to regret it.
He caught the attention of the table as soon as he spoke, holding it until the doors to the dining room closed behind him.
"Do you intend to leave after a year?" Ruoxi spoke up after Dulce was long gone.
The Incubus hadn’t been around for the agreement but he had been filled in on the details.
His question was directed at Asael who had unwittingly been the one to make the decision for all four.
"I never said I would," Asael lazily drawled, completely unperturbed by the arrangement.
His words made Kath’tan frown, replaying the memories from a few days before. "Hmph." He scoffed, a bittersweet taste on his tongue. "Once a recreant, always a recreant."
Asael shot him a look, reminding himself that he still couldn’t kill the Fiend. With Dulce gone from the table, he had little interest in lingering, taking his leave first.
Kath’tan left next, warping to his room. He cleaned up and changed into loose cotton pants, his sleeve tattoo fully revealed. He sat on his bed with his back against the headboard, powerful muscles rippling underneath dark red skin.
He had meant it when he asked if Dulce was reluctant, so despite the fire in his purple-red eyes, he sat patiently and waited for the Vampire to come to him himself.

In his room, Dulce was drying his hair by his dresser, a hint of unease on his soft features warmed red by the bath. He more or less knew what to expect from the other Demons, but Kath’tan was a wildcard.
It filled him with unwanted anxiety, one tainted with even more unwanted arousal.
He changed out his bathrobe for a silk night robe after brushing his hair dry, his eyes frequently drifting to the door, although Kath’tan would neither knock nor use the door when he showed up.
The night grew later and there was little left to do but get on his bed and just go to sleep alone, but Kath’tan still hadn’t shown up yet.
Refusing to keep waiting, Dulce stormed right to the Fiend’s room. His dissatisfaction dissipated as soon as he stepped in, distracted by the sight of Kath’tan on his bed.
The Demon looked to have been waiting for him, a dangerous glint igniting in his eyes as soon as their gazes met.
Dulce slowed down, his hair swirling around him. He approached the bed self-consciously, all of his bravado lying shattered next to his slippers.
Kath’tan was a little surprised to see Dulce, starting to accept that the Vampire just might not be coming. His deep purple eyes tracked Dulce as he slowly closed the distance, devouring the Vampire with just his heated gaze.
Dulce walked steadily until he got to the edge of the bed, lowering himself to sit gracefully. He tried to keep his apprehension from showing on his face, waiting to see what Kath’tan would do.
Kath’tan’s gaze lowered to the bed when he felt it dip slightly underneath the Vampire’s weight. "We’re not sleeping tonight." He said bluntly.
Dulce glared at him, flushed and angry. "Do I look naive to you?" He snapped.
Kath’tan pushed away from the headboard, moving closer to Dulce. "For the longest time I thought you were..."
Before Dulce could retort, he was pulled properly onto the bed, his back meeting the cold sheets.
