A Vampire's Guide To Summoning Demons (BL)
Chapter 156
Chapter 156: Chapter 156
Ruoxi waited patiently for Dulce to gather what fruit he wanted, taking the half-rotting ones and the ones with insect holes with glee. He was only satisfied when he chased off Kath’tan into the cover of the trees to hide from the less-than-savory fruit he found he couldn’t completely dodge.
"Do you want to eat fruit?" Dulce asked brightly, gathering some pears in a checkered piece of cloth.
Ruoxi moved to a different blanket that wasn’t stained with fruit, choosing one that wasn’t under a fruiting tree. "I’ll eat whatever you give me." He said with a wink, getting comfortable again.
Dulce carried enough from the pile he had saved, making sure to pick out the best ones. He then walked around the pond to the distributary feeding the pond. Flowing water was cleaner, so he washed the fruit in the bubbling stream, rolling up the sleeves of his sweater so he wouldn’t get it wet.
He then gathered the now clean fruit back into the piece of cloth, returning to where the blankets were laid out. He lowered himself down to Ruoxi’s blanket with an armful of fruit, "Have a pear." He offered, holding them out.
Ruoxi opened his eyes to a much more pleasing sight than the first time around, he stared directly at Dulce the entire time, his gaze lowering to the Vampire’s lips as he took a pear at random.
Dulce simply smiled at him and rose to his feet to go offer Asael fruit as well. Ruoxi froze at the expression, feeling a strange lurch in his chest.
"Do you want some, Asael?" Dulce said to him, unaware of the effect he had on Ruoxi.
Asael picked out a fruit, his gaze drifting past Dulce to the Incubus still staring at him. "Thank you." He murmured, going back to ’fishing’.
Dulce then started off in the direction Kath’tan had gone in, realizing that he couldn’t see the Demon. "I’ll go search for Kath’tan." He informed the others, placing the washed fruits in the wicker picnic basket. "There are more pears if you want..." He added, walking away from the pond.
The pond was right at the edge of the flower fields so he soon stepped into the forest. It was louder in the woods, chirping insects and scurrying animals filling it with life. The trees were denser and there was no defined path so he quickly ran out of options, Kath’tan could have gone off in any direction. It was late autumn so the forest floor was covered in leaves, tracking his footprints was out of the question.
"Kath’tan?" He called out tentatively, wondering if it was best to return to the pond instead of aimlessly wandering around.
Just as he was about to turn around and return, he heard the crunching of leaves, a familiar figure stepping out of the cover of the trees. Dulce walked forward with a relieved expression, "I washed some of the pears, would you like some?"
Kath’tan had gotten distracted after getting into the woods unwittingly tracking down a coyote who had run from him yelping and terrified. He was already on his way back to the pond when he heard his name.
His hair was mostly dry making it wild and willful like a mane, he pushed a hand through it, slowing to a stop as Dulce walked up. He didn’t care for fruits, the only sweetness he craved was the Vampire’s lips.
Unaware of Kath’tan’s straying thoughts, Dulce waited expectantly, his gaze lifted to hold eye contact with the Demon. His open expression didn’t change even when Kath’tan took a step forward, even glancing over his shoulder curiously. When he turned again after seeing nothing but trees, their noses brushed, that was how close the Demon had come.
Kath’tan closed the final distance and claimed his lips, his warm hands slipping under his sweater to caress his cool skin. He had only been able to lead their kisses the first few times, and each time after that, it had only gotten harder and harder to keep up with the ravenous pace Kath’tan kept, the Demon dominating the kiss.
Dulce broke away from the kiss first, he could feel the Demon’s tongue at the back of his throat, it was breathtaking. He clung to Kath’tan’s arms, needing the hands on his waist to keep him from stumbling. "S-So," He managed between breaths, "Do you want a pear?"
Kath’tan’s lips lifted at the corners, his smile slanted. Without his cravat and high-necked dress shirt, the Vampire’s pale neck was in plain view, far more enticing than ripe fruit. He blithely ignored Dulce’s question again, his straying hands rising even higher, exposing the Vampire’s slender waist to the sunlight.
Another ravishing kiss and Dulce had to lean on a tree to remain upright, the kisses lowering to his neck. The Demon’s kisses were gentle enough but he sucked and nibbled on his neck with a little too much ferocity, much like he wanted to break the skin of a fruit.
When Kath’tan pulled back, his expression quickly turned into one of consternation. The marks he left behind on the Vampire’s neck were vividly red, it looked less like souvenirs of pleasure and more like he had been mauled by a wild beast.
"Are you alright?" He asked in mild horror.
Dulce blinked the daze out of his misty eyes, needing a moment to process the question. His neck was rather sensitive, he probably shouldn’t attempt walking for a few minutes. "Yes," He said on a sigh, still clinging to Kath’tan.
If the Fiend could look past his guilt and fear of hurting Dulce, he would have seen the liquid pools of pleasure in the Vampire’s eyes. "Do you want to return?"
Dulce straightened up, trying to get more lucid. They had stopped so abruptly, he was still aroused. "I’m not quite sure I can walk yet, you can go ahead, the pears are in the wicker basket."
Those damn pears again... they were what shook Kath’tan out of his narrow thoughts. He looked at Dulce properly now, he had just recently fed so there was warmth in his cheeks. The Vampire was flushed, glistening lips parted slightly.
