“Thank goodness, I feel like I’m about to bleed, come on, Karlus, don’t stop, keep going.”

The Red Iron Dragon said to Karlus with a relaxed tone and a smile.

Karlus paused for a few seconds, then slowly but firmly shook his head, “No, Galos, there’s no point. I can’t even scratch your defenses.”

The Red Iron Dragon encouraged him, “How will you know your limit if you don’t try?”

“It’s a rare opportunity to attack a Legendary Giant Dragon.”

Upon hearing this, the Golden Dragon shook his head again.

“I’ve been feeling a bit tired lately, probably nearing the Sleep Stage,” he said, “I’ll go back to the Dragon Domain and pass through the sleep phase, become legendary, and then seek your guidance.”

He originally planned to wander the wilderness for a while longer.

However, the Sleep Stage is a top priority in the life of the Dragon Race and cannot be delayed, so he plans to return to the safest Dragon Domain to go through it.

“Alright, then I’ll await eagerly for your challenge after you become legendary.”

The Red Iron Dragon nodded in understanding and said.

After a brief farewell, the figure of Golden Dragon Karlus transformed into a brilliant golden stream of light, gradually disappearing into the southern sky.

In the blink of an eye, another month had passed since the founding ceremony.

In the training field behind the mountain, the Red Iron Dragon had just exhausted Deborah, who was training with him at high intensity, to the point of collapse, forcing her to rest. After completing several rounds of extreme training alone, he spread his wings and flew to the highest peak.

Facing the biting mountain wind, he gazed out at his wild territory.

“Since officially founding the kingdom, I haven’t yet surveyed this land that belongs to me; I’ve spent almost all my time training.”

He pondered internally.

After considering for a few seconds, the Red Iron Dragon decided to personally patrol and relax his body and mind across his kingdom.

Swoosh—!

He flapped his dragon wings, his body tearing through the clouds, ready to start his first kingdom patrol.

High in the sky, the Red Iron Dragon flew steadily.

He looked down, his sharp gaze sweeping inch by inch over the miniature-like wilderness landscape below, those burgeoning cities rising between mountains and dense forests, and the countless citizens busily moving within them, all captured in his eyes.

Once, he also struggled to survive in this vast and primitive wilderness, everywhere full of crises.

Times have changed; now, the entire wilderness has become his backyard, under his rule.

The vast change in circumstances today stirred a sliver of satisfaction in his heart.

As he circled and inspected, Galos occasionally looked back towards the direction of the snow-covered tundra.

He calculated in his heart, by the day when the Eternal Frost Tundra is also fully under his control, then his titles like “King of the Wilderness” and “King of the Borderland” might be further promoted to—Lord of the North!

By then, the Southern area will be the stage of endless disputes among other nations.

And this vast Northern Territory will be completely his, with no worries left.

This monarch, while inspecting his kingdom, quietly weighed the blueprint for the future in his heart.

However, just as he was flying over a rugged rocky forest.

Galos’ expression abruptly turned stern, Martial Dragon’s keen instinct towards danger allowed him to instantly capture a certain extremely unusual aura.

Buzz—!

Almost at the same moment, without any warning, the surrounding space instantly solidified.

An invisible and massive barrier, like an overturned bowl, completely isolated the few kilometers of airspace from the ground below.

The light inside suddenly dimmed, and all external sounds completely disappeared.

Next, a strong sense of space rotation struck, as if the world were inverted by an invisible giant hand.

Galos’ massive dragon body halted abruptly in mid-air, his dragon wings violently fluttering to stabilize.

His eyes were like electricity, sharply scanning the rapidly changing environment.

“Is this… some kind of mirror space detached from reality?”

The Red Iron Dragon instantly realized that he had fallen into a premeditated ambush.

The next moment, four powerful auras no longer concealed themselves, suddenly surged from the northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest directions, surrounding him at the center.

They were all clad in uniform gray robes, tightly concealing their faces and forms, with no visible gender or age, but the legendary aura they emitted at this moment already signaled their extraordinary nature.

“Why have you all come?”

The Red Iron Dragon narrowed his eyes slightly, asking in a deep voice.

“Of course, it is for you, the esteemed Emperor Ignatius,”

A tall gray-robed figure responded with a smile, “We sincerely hope that under your leadership, we can tread a broader and glorious path.”

“Under my leadership?”

Galos was not in a hurry to act and wanted to gather more information first.

“Those who hide need not earn my favor,”

He said, “Since you’ve already used methods to seal off space, why not reveal yourselves and meet openly?”

The gray-robed figures exchanged a glance, reaching some consensus, then the tall one smiled.

“As you wish.”

Rip! Rip!

The gray robes tore apart, revealing their true forms underneath.

An elder draped in a shadow-patterned robe, holding a spiral wooden magic staff; a burly man covered in dark metal armor, carrying a two-handed giant sword; a seductive woman wearing a gown flowing like mercury; and a particularly brawny bald man with skin like rough granite.
