Chapter 2741: Chapter 1854: Distributing Benefits (It’s Another Rainy Day)

Soon, the survivors discovered that those students who initially seemed pitiful and harmless had erupted with astonishing and terrifying combat power. They twisted into various monstrous forms that would only appear in nightmares, launching ferocious attacks on the survivors.

Fortunately, these survivors had previously encountered low-level demons, so although it was messy, they gritted their teeth and held on, eventually overcoming those demons. Thus, the Tribunal pushed forward, arriving at the auditorium located at the back of the school — the place with the most concentrated demonic aura.

"The first one!"

Mianmu Zuoniao cheered exuberantly, kicking open the tightly shut door before her, and leaped with joy like a student rushing into the cafeteria. Her eyes widened, akin to seeing the cafeteria’s overflowing food trays — and they were all meat dishes!

On the stage of the auditorium, a demon sat on a throne made of congealed flesh. Beneath it, dozens of young girls intertwined their limbs like building blocks to form a giant seat. Their limbs twisted and contorted, entwining like ropes. The painful expressions on their faces indicated that these girls were still alive.

"Foolish humans."

The demon stood up, appearing as grotesque as other demons. It had four arms, with four basketball-sized masses hanging down on either side of its chest. The demon gripped a longsword with four arms, glaring at Mianmu Zuoniao with a cruel smile.

"You are foolish enough to come here; you are walking into your death!"

The demon roared, simultaneously swinging the sharp blade held by its right hand backward onto the throne made of the girls’ bodies, eliciting a piercing scream from them.

Just witnessing this scene was enough to make the trailing survivors retreat, for even in their most terrifying nightmares, they never imagined seeing such a sight. The surviving girls’ faces, filled with pain, wailing, and despair, almost drove these survivors to collapse. They had not anticipated encountering such a scene — something only demons would do!

But this did not include Mianmu Zuoniao.

"Aha."

She completely ignored the throne. To Mianmu Zuoniao, the fate of those girls didn’t concern her. Instead, her interest was solely in the powerful demon before her. At least to Mianmu Zuoniao, this creature should make some wonderful sounds!

Thus, she let out a slight chuckle, then her figure flashed, charging to the demon’s side, engaging it in combat.

The demon swung its four arms with force. Two arms wielded sharp blades, while the other two served as whip-like tentacles. They intersected, forming an almost impenetrable defense line capable of shredding any intruder to pieces.

However, Mianmu Zuoniao clearly wasn’t among them. Her ghost-like floating figure moved through the sword flashes and blade shadows, slowly and steadily closing the distance to the demon. The latter was clearly thrilled to find a worthy combat opponent, speeding up its movements considerably.

Soon, the entire auditorium was filled only with the whooshing sound of blades cutting through the air and two indistinct voices. The remaining soldiers could do nothing but watch blankly, incapable of firing to assist — they could not even locate the demon’s position.

"Swish———!"

Having once again sidestepped the sword blade grazing past her, Mianmu Zuoniao finally reached the demon’s side, then gripped her weapon tightly, slashing forward.

"Hoo!"

Yet, at that moment, the demon’s eyes showed a hint of cold laughter, and its body puffed up like a balloon, suddenly ejecting a pink mist from its body pores.

The mist was so dense that even the survivors at the gate couldn’t escape. Instinctively, they tried to hold their breath, but it was futile. This sweet scent-infused fog penetrated their bodies through every pore. Within moments, an unparalleled comfort and intoxication washed over them, urging them to lay down their weapons, abandon everything, and forever immerse themselves in tranquility and peace.

However, the next moment, the Judgement Court Badge’s burning pain on their bodies dispelled the addictive lure, restoring their clarity. Meanwhile, the fog filling the auditorium dissipated, revealing Mianmu Zuoniao standing there, holding the demon’s head in one hand, her sword in the other, while at her feet lay the demon’s headless body, motionless.

The demon’s face in Mianmu Zuoniao’s grip bore shock and confusion, clearly not anticipating its trump card to be completely ineffective against Mianmu Zuoniao.

The latter joyfully raised the head, shaking it vigorously.

"Blood Sacrifice War God, offering to the throne!"

With this demon’s death, the pink fog encompassing the entire city vanished, and even those demons disappeared, with Duanmu Huai speculating they likely abandoned their hosts to return to Subspace. But no matter, he will conduct a thorough cleansing operation in the city afterward.
