Chapter 2673: Chapter 2673: Fooled Again—Will She Be Furious? (Part 1)

"I also don’t know what my dad is thinking, wanting me to learn so many things in such a short time that I practically have no time to sleep, let alone read medical books."

Meimei rested her chin on her hands, feeling so distressed she didn’t know what to say.

"Mr. Bai is just joking with you; you don’t need to take it too seriously. Do what you can according to your ability," Dan Tingye gently placed the training plan to one side, his hands folded comfortably on the table.

"Tingye, do you mean my dad isn’t intentionally making things difficult for me?" Meimei was taken aback.

"You are Mr. Bai’s cherished one. Even if he wanted to make things difficult for you, he probably couldn’t bear it himself," Dan Tingye’s dark eyes flashed as he smiled composedly, his smile mysterious and elusive.

"So you mean, even if I don’t complete the tasks, Dad won’t force me to leave?" Meimei sat up excitedly from the sofa, shaking off her earlier dejection, her bright eyes fixed on him with anticipation.

"Of course. Mr. Bai personally agreed for you to intern at Dan Group; he has no reason to make it hard for you," Dan Tingye glanced at Jiang Nan, who hesitated to speak. His long fingers tapped on the table, causing Jiang Nan to open his mouth but then fall silent.

"Yao, take Meimei to complete the onboarding procedures and schedule her into the Group’s planning department according to the training plan requirements."

"Yes, I’ll arrange it immediately. Miss Meimei, please follow me," Yao stepped forward and respectfully gestured.

"..."

Meimei paused and looked at Dan Tingye.

"Go ahead. Mr. Yao is just taking you to finish the onboarding procedures. You won’t receive any special privileges. In Dan Group, you are just an ordinary employee. If you don’t do well at work, you’ll be criticized by the supervisor. If you make mistakes, you can be fired as well."

Dan Tingye met her bright eyes and spoke calmly.

"I want to stay. I’ll work very hard," Meimei smiled sweetly at him, turned, and followed Yao out of the office.

"Brother, why are you deceiving Meimei? Mr. Bai’s training plan clearly aims to make Meimei retreat, it’s definitely not a joke!"

Jiang Nan stood up from the sofa, glanced at Meimei who had already left, then turned back, fixedly looking at Dan Tingye.

Bai Zheng’s demands, not to mention asking Meimei to complete them, even if it were them, within three months they would barely have time to meet the standards unless they went without eating or drinking.

"You don’t need to worry, let’s first look at a package I just received."

Dan Tingye pressed an intercom phone, and immediately a secretary came in from outside holding a small box, respectfully placing it on the table before turning and leaving.

"What’s this?"

Jiang Nan stepped forward, reaching out to flip through it, discovering it was full of books, his brow furrowed as he patiently picked them up to flip through a few.

"Chinese Medicine Collection, Formulary Studies, Rare Herbs Illustrated Guide..."

Jiang Nan flipped through several books, completely stunned, "Brother, what is this? Who sent you this?"

"It’s not sent to me, but something to pass on to Meimei. Who else would it be?" Dan Tingye leaned back against the chair, a deep understanding flashing in his eyes.

"Is it Mr. Diwu?"

"He expects Meimei to obtain a pharmacist qualification certificate within three months," Dan Tingye abruptly stood up from the chair and walked towards the floor-to-ceiling window, resting his hands on the railing, gazing out at the sky.
