10x Rewards: Novel's Extra's Cultivation Stealing System
Chapter 229: Who should I play with next?
Gu fan used his ’Sovereign Strike of Infinite Freedom’ to instantly vanish into the dark night, leaving Bai Bing sleeping alone in his bed with a satisfied smile on her face.
He moved like a blur across the rooftops of Poison Valley Town, effortlessly bypassing the scattered night patrols until he reached the highly fortified, sprawling estate of the Song Clan.
As Gu fan crouched at the roof of the nearby building and stared down at the security around the heavily reinforced stone structure of the Song Clan’s premium weapon armory, he was surprised to see that it was quite relaxed.
Gu fan had expected a tighter security, more guards patroling and stronger defensive arrays.
After all, the Song Clan almost had a monopoly over the weapons supplied to every single major faction, cultivator and merchants.
Maybe that was also the reason that they thought absolutely no one in their right mind would ever dare steal from them, making the outer guards incredibly lazy and highly inattentive.
Gu Fan easily slipped past the outer walls, silently dropping directly behind two armed guards stationed on the other side of the main iron doors.
And before they could even turn their heads, Gu Fan chopped both of their necks with the flat edge of his hand, completely knocking them unconscious into the dirt without making a single sound.
He grabbed the two guards by the legs and tosed them into the bushes.
He then moved through the darkness and stopped right beside another guard who had just turned at the corner. And without making a sound, he wrapped his arm around the guard’s neck and choked the guard unconscious, throwing him behind a boulder.
For the next few minutes, every turn Gu fan took, he would drop a few guards throwing them behind some bush, rock or building.
By the time he arrived in front of the main armoury, he had thinned the herd of guards by more than half.
He easily picked the heavy iron locks and stepped silently into the massive, echoing armory.
The sprawling warehouse was completely packed from floor to ceiling with thousands of swords, heavy halberds, racks of premium armour, and massive wooden crates filled entirely with highly explosive forging powder used for enchanting weapons.
"Well, this is an absolute goldmine," Gu Fan whispered to himself, his green eyes glowing with pure greed.
He didn’t waste a single second. Using the 10x multiplier of his system, he aggressively swept his hands across the weapon racks, looting hundreds of premium swords, thousands of arrows, and dozens of high-tier defensive shields, completely stacking his inventory with enough high-grade military equipment to properly arm his upcoming Sect.
Once he had plundered the absolute best gear the Song Clan had to offer, Gu Fan pulled the five ’Frost-Core Demolition Orbs’ from his inventory.
He rapidly moved through the massive warehouse, strategically planting the glowing blue Bai Clan explosives directly around the primary structural support pillars and specifically hiding them inside the massive crates of volatile forging powder to guarantee a devastating chain reaction.
But Gu Fan wasn’t satisfied with a simple explosion. What he wanted was absolute devastation.
He grabbed the placed orbs and aggressively injected a thick, highly concentrated dose of his Heaven-Melting Corrosive Qi directly into the explosive cores. The terrifying, highly toxic green acid acted as a highly unstable chemical catalyst, rapidly eating away at the internal freezing arrays and actively multiplying the volatility of the explosives by at least a hundred times.
This was a perfect setup to ensure that the blame fell on the right party.
With the trap perfectly set and the evidence flawless, Gu Fan confidently stepped out into the cool night air and walked several blocks away.
He raised his hand and snapped his fingers, sending a tiny, invisible pulse of Qi to trigger the highly unstable cores.
BOOM!
An absolutely massive, deafening explosion violently ripped the Song Clan armory completely to shreds, creating an earth-shattering shockwave that shattered windows for miles.
A blinding, towering pillar of blue and orange fire aggressively erupted into the dark sky, instantly turning hundreds of thousands of spirit stones worth of premium weapons (Which no one shall know were safe and sound in Gu fan’s hands) into completely useless, molten slag.
While the entire town frantically woke up in sheer, unadulterated panic, screaming about a massive attack at the Song Clan, Gu Fan didn’t stop to admire his handiwork.
He was already miles away, moving with terrifying, ghostly speed directly toward the Bai Clan’s main herbal storehouses on the complete opposite side of the valley.
The Bai Clan estate was in absolute chaos as well. The loud echoing Bang had woken up every single sleeping soul and by now, the elders and guards were already rushing towards the sound of the explosion, leaving their own rear storehouses heavily under-defended.
Gu Fan completely bypassed the confused perimeter guards, dropping silently into the central courtyard of the storehouse.
Two guards noticed soething and tried to draw their weapons, but Gu Fan blurred forward and brutally snapped their necks with his bare hands, entirely unbothered by the wet crunch of their spines.
He pulled a couple of trademark Song Clan silver-feathered arrows that he had just looted from the armory out of his inventory and with precision, he stabbed the premium arrows deep into the dead guards’ chests and scattered several more across the stone courtyard to completely frame the Song Clan for a retaliatory strike.
With the evidence perfectly planted, Gu Fan raised both of his hands, his eyes burning with intense, villainous delight.
He then unleashed a massive, overwhelming wave of his terrifying Purple Nether-Ghost Fire.
The purple flames instantly consumed the wooden storehouses, rapidly burning through the protective arrays and completely turning the Bai Clan’s remaining wealth, thousands of rare herbs, and their entire medical foundation into a towering, roaring purple inferno.
Gu Fan stood casually on a high rooftop perfectly positioned exactly between the two massive, burning estates.
He looked to the east, where the Song Clan armory was burning with chaotic blue fire, and then looked to the west, where the Bai Clan storehouses were entirely engulfed in terrifying purple flames.
The loud, frantic sounds of clan war drums began to beat aggressively across the entire valley, as furious Patriarchs mobilized their remaining forces, completely convinced that their rivals had just launched a devastating, unprovoked sneak attack.
Gu Fan simply crossed his muscular arms over his chest and laughed like an absolute maniac into the dark night, completely thoroughly satisfied with the bloody chaos he had just unleashed.
"Now... Who should I play with next?"
