"Holy, Light, Darkness and even Devourering though it’s only E rank." she murmured as she circled the orb slowly, reading it like she expected the screen to change.

"What does that mean, what are the ranks of affinities Big Sis Carmilla, also what is this devouring it sounds OP?" Evelisse asked quickly, her golden eyes wide as she stared at the ranks next to the affinities, her snack loving mind immediately locking onto the unusual one.

"Well, my dear little Eve, affinities are ranked from F to SSS Rank like the mortal realm ranks, and then we get Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and Divine Rank affinities," Carmilla explained, reaching up to gently pat Evelisse’s head in a loving, big-sisterly gesture.

"What about the devouring?" Lucien asked, thinking back to that ridiculously overpowered Slime anime he used to watch back on Earth, where that jiggly blue ball ate a dragon and instantly became a god at the start.

’Don’t tell me my cute wife is going to become even more of a glutton?’ he thought, horror struck and knowing he could barely keep her at bay with rare snacks as it was.

"The Devouring Affinity, just like any affinity just means little Evelisse’s soul and being is naturally more attuned to the concept of devouring." She said.

?"So I can eat things to get stronger?" Evelisse immediately asked, little stars literally forming in her eyes as she stared at the glowing screen.

"No, the affinity is basically a spiritual shortcut to understanding a specific concept, techniques and other things." Carmilla laughed hearing Evelisse talking about eating her way towards God hood.

"But," Carmilla said looking at Evelisse.

"You really had all of this and never knew?" Aurelia asked as she looked at Evelisse like she’d just grown a second head.

"I didn’t even know affinities had ranks and it’s not like I’ve ever had my affinities checked before, I was isolated back in my clan." Sve said a bit sad.

"The affinities and their ranks are extraordinary, but seeing the talent you have its also somewhat expected." Carmilla said, offering Evelisse another comforting head pat.

"Her Final Judgment talent?" Lucien asked.

"Yes, the affinities a person has is usually dependent on their talent, bloodline or race, though their are exceptions where one could gain them externally and even cases where a person has affinities not in line with any of this, though the latter is extremely rare." Carmilla explained.

"Little Eve’s got three very good affinities with one of them at Divine Rank, you definitely don’t see this kind of combination every century, let alone every day."

Evelisse kept staring at the glowing text like it might vanish if she blinked.

"Does this mean I can finally learn a good technique?"

"What about a devouring related one?" She asked.

"Nope, using one would only slow you down because of the Affinity’s rank. " Carmilla smiled, thoroughly entertained by Evelisse’s obsession.

After some joking, Seraphina went up next as Evelisse passed the orb to her, she was already half expecting the familiar results she had before in her clan.

What she wasn’t sure about was whether her newly awakened Heart Empress bloodline had changed anything in that aspect.

"What’s wrong?" Lucien turned toward her worried.

"When I was a child, my family tested my affinities." She said as her voice went quiter.

"I didn’t have Desire, Dream, Nightmare, Soul or Illusion Affinity’s, none of these ever showed up."

"That tracks, it’s just like I said little Sera ," Carmilla said as she gestured at the affinity testing display.

"Your old bloodline was actively rejecting you and your soul was also damaged. After the Soul Rebirth Elixir healed you and the Heart Empress bloodline awakened, your body fundamentally changed according to the bloodline, so having a new affinity, or in this case a few new affinities are normal."

She paused, her expression turning thoughtful.

"These affinities may have always been latent in you, buried under the damage, impossible to detect with the methods your family used, your healing and bloodline awakening may have simply let them surface."

Seraphina looked down at her own hands like she’d never quite seen them before.

"So these were always possibilities inside me?"

"Possibly, we can’t know exactly how much was dormant versus newly formed but what’s in front of you now is real."

Slowly, Seraphina smiled, the kind of smile that came from somewhere deep and long buried.

Hearing the Goddess’s confidence, Aurelia planted her hand on the crystal ball wondering if this would show her weapon affinity or just the various types of weapon affinities she developed throughout her life.

Light erupted from the center, and the orb practically vibrated as the inscriptions assembled themselves in rapid order before the display showed.

"It’s part of my talent and let’s me naturally develop and grow any kind of weapon affinity I want to, through training and understanding the weapon." She said hearing Evelisse’s question.

?"That’s completely broken. That’s real protagonist level bullshit!" Evelisse exclaimed, her jaw dropping at the sheer absurdity of her sister wife’s cheat-like talent.

?’I’m pretty sure I don’t have any more tucked away. The system and appraisal would have shown them, but who knows? Maybe something weird will pop up, like Eve’s devouring affinity,’ he thought, amused and figuring it cost him nothing, he moved his hand forward to take his turn.
