Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Don’t Do Weird Things Thinking of Your Master, Okay My Suagr Baby?
Dinner was already laid out by the time Lucien returned back to the kitchen along with Seraphina who finished washing of the training sweat.
On the dining table lay what looked like a roasted Flamewing fowl, herb crusted root vegetables and something involving mana grain rice that smelled suspiciously better than anything Aurelia had claimed to be capable of.
"This smells incredible." Seraphina smiled.
"Don’t sound so surprised." Evelisse said.
"Wow! It’s actually really good, I’m shocked." Evelisse said as she took a bite deep into the Flamewing leg.
"I thought you said to not sound surprised." Carmilla floated beside her.
"I was just admiring the taste, not that I’m surprised." Evelisse said quickly covering up.
"You only contributed a little." Aurelia pointed out.
"Hey! I helped out plenty."
"Helped by carrying ingredients?" Aurelia asked.
"That’s still helping, and I supervised the roasting."
"And should I mention what happened to the first three you supervised?" Aurelia asked as Evelisse nearly choked mid bite.
"Those were fine! Just a bit of rustic crust!"
"That was not a crust, it was charcoal."
"You didn’t poison anything, did you?" Lucien asked looking at the food and hearing what happened to the first three sacrifices.
"Not intentionally." Evelisse said looking offended and deciding to joke with him as Carmilla laughed at her.
Carmilla drifted above the table, inspecting the food with open curiosity. "Can I try some?"
"Can you?" Lucien asked.
"Technically, no as I am just a soul clone and don’t have a physical body."
"But I can experience the sensation through you by connecting our sense of taste, so if you eat something specific while we sharing senses and you think about me, I’ll also taste it."
"Does it work with other senses too?" Lucien asked not surprised that she could do that.
"Yes it can, so don’t do weird things thinking of your Master, okay my sugar disciple. " She said looking at Seraphina who blushed a bit remembering the incident that happened during the tattoo upgrade.
"That’s deeply unsettling."
"Try it, I’ve connected our sense of taste."
He reluctantly took a bite of the fowl while picturing her as she shared his sense of taste with herself.
"Oh, that’s actually quite nice." She made a small, delighted sound as she sat on his shoulder and patted his head.
"Please stop doing that."
"Absolutely not."
Evelisse watched the exchange with open fascination. "Big sis, are you flirting with our husband?"
"No, im stuck with my disciple and he’s fun to tease." Carmilla said, as Aurelia stared at her tiny form.
"Relatable," Evelisse said, nodding at Lucien.
"I’m sitting right here."
"We know."
As they all ate, Carmilla sharing his senses, Lucien decided to explain his new blodlines to the girl’s.
"Aurelia helped pick the names for both of the new bloodlines." Lucien said smiling at Aurelia who smiled back.
Aurelia’s attention sharpened immediately, Seraphina set down her fork, listening and Evelisse perked up, mouth still half full.
"You should have asked me, I had plenty of cool names to give." Evelisse said sounding a bit disappointed.
"Like I said before I have two now," he said.
"Crimson Sovereign, that’s the Divine one, evolved woth Carmilla’s essence from what I already had previously. And Hollow Abyss, Mythical-Rank, and honestly it’s not bad."
"So you have two, how does that work?" Seraphina asked curiously.
"Apparently it’s not unheard of to have two bloodlines simultaneously." he said.
"So you can gain one after?" Evelisse asked.
"Yes, through various ways, though its very rare to see one succeed." Carmilla said.
"Multiple families have tried, with most cases being the death of the person, but just like there are failures they are those who succeed either through luck, inheritance or they awaken it naturally."
He then walked them through The Crimson Sovereign’s abilities roughly, enhanced everything, blood manipulation at a scale he hadn’t had before, the bloodline extraction ability that could extract a weaker version of a bloodline from a being he takes the heart’s blood off, etc.
Aurelia’s eyes narrowed with interest at that last part. "You can extract and transplant bloodlines?"
"A seed version, yes, but its one to two ranks below the original."
"Into someone who already has a bloodline?"
"Yes, though I don’t know if it fuses with their bloodline or stays separate, or something else, got to test it out."
"And what if you infuse it into someone without one?"
He understood exactly where this was going before she finished the sentence, and glanced toward Evelisse.
Evelisse froze mid bite, hand hovering as she held a flamewing leg with everyone looking at her.
"What happened?" Evelisse asked, cheeks stuffed.
"Are you saying, that you could give Eve a bloodline?" Seraphina.
"Potentially, but I need practice first. I don’t fully understand the ability yet, and I’m not about to experiment on my wife using a brand new ability I just got."
"That’s responsible of you," Carmilla said nodding.
Evelisse was still staring at him, something halfway between hope and barely contained excitement as she heard what they said.
She set her fork down with the gravity of someone about to make an extremely important decision.
"Okay, if it works how you Saud." she said.
"And If I’m getting a bloodline, I have requests."
"Of course you do." Aurelia sighed.
"A dragon bloodline."
"A dragon?"
"Yes. Scales, wings, dragon’s breath and their absurd strength, the whole package."
"Those don’t come as a starter option Eve, where would we even find one and take the Heart from?" Lucien asked.
"I don’t know but knowing your luck I’m sure we’ll somehow find one, and we have your Goddess sugar mommy." She said looking expectantly at Carmilla.
Aurelia sighed as Seraphina hid a laugh behind her hand.
"I don’t have a dragon to give little Eve." Carmilla burst her ballon.
"But aren’t you a Goddess?" She asked.
"Yes, but dragons are dragons."
"Fine then," Evelisse continued, holding up a finger like she was negotiating a business deal, "give me whatever Seraphina got."
Everyone turned to look at Seraphina.
"What do you mean?" Seraphina asked.
"You got more beautiful and sexier." Evelisse gestured at her big chest unbothered.
"Curvier, hotter and whatever other beauty upgrade your bloodline did. I want that one like that, so I can as sexy as you and leave our horny husband awe struck everytime."
"That’s a side effect of The Heart Empress Bloodline and her Sera being a Succubus specifically." Lucien said.
"Fine then give me a bloodline with the same side effect."
"That’s not how bloodlines work."
"It should be."
"She has a point, though," Carmilla said, clearly enjoying herself.
"A purely cosmetic bloodline would sell extremely well in the market, especially for those woman looking to become more sexy and beautiful, but only you would be able to sell and infuse it into them."
"So you better hide from those powerful women or men, you wouldn’t know how you got kidnapped." She joked.
"Oh and little Eve, whatever bloodline you do get will change your appearance a little." Carmilla said.
"Really?"
"Yes, as it would be infused into you, but the changes will be according to the bloodline but you’re already pretty enough to leave my disciple awe struck." Carmilla joked.
"Realistically," Lucien said, trying to steer the conversation somewhere productive instead of a Beaty upgrade bloodline.
"I’d want to find something that actually suits you, is compatible with fallen angels and actually makes you stronger."
"So not random." Evelisse considered this.
"Not random and something from your family."
"Fine, but it better be a cool one." She pointed at him.
"I’ll do my best and see what I get."
Aurelia, meanwhile, had been thinking more seriously. "What about using it on an existing bloodline? Mine, for instance."
"Possibly, your bloodline’s already Legendary. A seed from something similar and strong enough might push it further and evolve it." Lucien considered it.
"Interesting," she said.
"I’d want to practice and experiment using it first and on something else that’s lower stakes." he repeated as he didn’t want to make irreversible changes to his wives without knowing the consequences first.
"Define lower stakes."
"I don’t actually know yet."
’Perhaps someone who comes after you or the girls,’ Carmilla suggested.
’Yes, that is an option, but first I have to convert them, don’t want to make my enemies stronger now do I.’ He said.
"What about the other bloodline? Hollow Abyss?" Seraphina asked curious about that one.
Lucien hesitated, genuinely uncertain how much detail to go into. "That one’s complicated."
"Complicated how?"
"It can store seven other bloodlines, then consume all seven at once and evolve based on whatever it absorbed."
"...You’re carrying a bloodline that eats other bloodlines?" Evelisse said slowly.
"Essentially."
"And you don’t know what it turns into?"
"No."
"That’s either the coolest thing I’ve ever heard, or a terrifying horror movie waiting to happen." She said.
"That sounds dangerous." Aurelia’s eyebrows rose slightly.
"Extremely," Carmilla confirmed, far too cheerfully for the word she’d just used.
"So what are you planning to feed it?" Seraphina asked.
"I don’t know yet," Lucien admitted.
"I want to actually understand affinities properly before I just start shoving things into it hoping for the best."
"Smart," Aurelia said.
"But boring," Evelisse said.
"Both can be true."
"What if you store a dragon bloodline?" Evelisse asked, apparently still fixated.
"If I ever find one, sure, but I am not rushing it."
"Maybe a blood dragon, that should be a thing right?" Evelisse asked.
Aurelia shook her head slowly, Seraphina laughed, soft and warm as Lucien just sighed, already resigned to the fact that Evelisse’s dragon ambitions weren’t going anywhere.
"I also want to test out the dual cultivation technique tonight." Lucien said whie eating and told Seraphina about the technique as she was still unconscious when he told the others.
"Finally." Aurelia muttered and immediately smiled.
"You sound suspiciously excited." Lucien said looking at her.
"I’m interested in seeing whether it works."
"So this is it." Evelisse sighed dramatically.
"What’s what?"
"The day you’ve finally decided to eat all three of us at once." She puts down her fork as Seraphina immediately blushed while Aurelia laughed.
"That’s not what the technique is for!" Lucien nearly choked on his food.
"That’s what you say."
"I don’t mind trying it together." Seraphina said hiding her smile.
"And I want to see how much it improves cultivation." Aurelia said.
"Then we’ll test it properly." Lucien smiled.
"Just for testing, huh?" Aurelia smirked faintly into her cup.
"Aurelia."
"What? I’m simply agreeing that it would be useful. For cultivation purposes."
"You’re enjoying this far too much."
"A little."
"Wait." Carmilla floated beside him.
"Aren’t you supposed to disperse your cultivation first, then dual cultivation, wouldn’t that be best?"
"Yes, but I want to try something." Lucien nodded.
"Try something?" Carmilla raised an eyebrow.
Lucien then explained his theory and the technique, that the Heavenly Yin-Yang Scripture is independent of normal cultivation amd that only one partner needs to actively circulate it for both.
Therefore, he theorized he may be able to use the Foundation Severance Scripture while simultaneously maintaining Heavenly Yin-Yang Sanguine Scripture while they dual cultivated.
And If the theory worked, they could dismantle and rebuild their foundations while simultaneously receiving the benefits of dual cultivation.
"You want to run two cultivation methods simultaneously?" Carmilla asked genuinely interested.
"Exactlyz since it says its separate of other cultivation techniques, it could work."
"Let’s say it does, can you actually do both while not breaking focus."
"Which is why I want to test it."
"Good."
"But how exactly did you make such a dual cultivation technique?"
"I’m a genius." He said.
"Fine." She said not asking further.
"But I want to see it eventually, my dear sugar disciple." She said into his ear as she sat on his shoulder.
Dinner wound down slowly after that, conversation drifting into various topics as he described his new trait Fusion and traits he fused, Seraphina describing a few of her new bloodline’s smaller quirks she’d discovered while training with Carmilla.
Lucien watched all three of them, something settling warm and certain in his chest.
He smiled, and let the conversation carry on around him as dinner eventually wound down.
’You’ve got a good family, disciple’ Carmilla said.
Lucien glanced at her, surprised by the sincerity.
’Yeah, they’re are the best.’
’I’m almost jealous.’
