Will of chaos

Chapter 2039 2039: Cap 2028 (Rewritten): Conversion...

Pov Xerxes:

When the invasion began, I immediately noticed that Inolakai was focusing his attention on the boy; he was as spiteful as ever.

“(Paradox, be careful, Rhavil is coming after you.)” (Malakyel)

“(War, where are you?)” (me)

“(I thought you were far away taking care of other invasion points.)” (me)

“(You think I wouldn’t see a dispersal strategy when it was placed in front of me?)” (Malakyel)

“(I’m far away, but I left an Avatar in your universe; you’re too good a bait for them.)” (Malakyel)

“I’ll take the bird-head!” (Ibuki)

“Ibuki, don’t be reckless!” (Diana)

While I listened to War speaking in my mind, the world didn’t stop moving; dozens of enemies were appearing, seeing this filled me with sadness.

I may have been naive back then, but the intentions of those days are still with me, my sincere desire to keep them alive. I gave them the opportunity to change and open up a new possibility, yet they fell even further than in the past.

What was once a rebellion against the Creator, they have now become obsessed with power, wanting to be the creator. They cannot change; they are trapped in the same mindset as those days, only shifting their focus to something worse.

I see those associated with Zenos advancing to attack, I see the Avatar of Pride fighting with a smile on his face, I see a scenario very similar to those days, beings I care about destroying themselves no matter how much I wanted to protect them all.

“(You must stay away from them, if he sees you…)” (Malakyel?)

“(He already saw me.)” (me)

“(Then get out of there before…)” (Malakyel?)

“(How long will you continue with your games? You can’t fool me just with Malakyel’s presence and voice.)” (me)

“(…)” (Malakyel?)

When Zenos started fighting Inolakai, I had the freedom to focus on other things. I didn’t throw myself into combat so easily. I looked at the whole situation, realizing that the battle had a dead end around me; I didn’t even notice when it happened.

My eyes then turned to the stars that should have been distant. I saw a pair of stars that seemed too stretched out; those were his eyes, the same eyes that were in my memories. It will be the first time I see him as the new me.

“Rhavil, you don’t know how to imitate War, you lack the will to fight, that’s why you can’t achieve any Concept, you don’t understand them… maybe you didn’t want to understand…” (me)

“Hello Paradox…” (Rhavil)

“Paradox is dead, I am not her, but she is part of me… call me by my name from now on, Xerxes.” (me)

“No matter what new Incarnation it is, at its core it will always be the same, you can’t escape that.” (Rhavil)

Rhavil emerges, his head and body coming into existence as soon as I found his eyes among the stars, his head still had no features beyond the eyes I molded for him, his body seems to be made of the purest white, gleaming with all forms of light, and was by far the most beautiful form among those that go to creation.

“You will never understand, not until you experience it for yourselves.” (Me)

“You should have joined us, sister, you were our light. Everyone told me to give up on you, but I can’t…” (Rhavil)

Just as I expected, her body disintegrates and reforms before my eyes. The entire battlefield disappears while only the two of us remain alone here. The power of reality wasn’t expelled; it was annihilated and completely replaced.

“I’ve really become weaker…” (me)

In the past, he wouldn’t have been able to catch me off guard like this, but it didn’t matter, he couldn’t escape.

“I don’t want to fight you…” (Rhavil)

“Then you shouldn’t have come here. I gave you a second chance, but you wasted the easiest option…” (me)

“With you, we could do so much, a new home where we could dictate all of creation, everything our way, without random tests, without suffering, and everything perfect as we always wanted!” (Rhavil)

“Why don’t you accept that!?” (Rhavil)

“Perfection doesn’t exist, beauty lies in the transient. Even Creation gave up on perfection and admitted its flaws, so don’t try to be more than it.” (me)

“Paradox!!!” (Rhavil)

“I already told you, my name is Xerxes.” (Me)

I fell asleep and left my destiny in the hands of someone who didn’t exist, I awaited death and rebirth for this transformation, desiring this freedom and finally achieving this new power, different from the Concept I created in the past.

“You know, I don’t know if I can beat him, but even so, I couldn’t ask for a better opponent to test this.” (Me)

“< Incarnation of Chaos: Path of Insanity >” (Me)

“(I will convert him, I will convert all of you…)” (Me)

Pov Zenos:

His fury was palpable; it seemed that the more he fought against me, the more violent he became, the more bloodthirsty his Aura became, and yet his single eye didn’t lose the gleam of intelligence.

His arms delivered increasingly powerful blows, the power of Reality being eradicated wherever his fists passed. Each blow that struck my body seemed to echo throughout my entire existence; it was a pain deeper than any other, a pain that intensified with each strike, yet it was nothing that could stop me.

With sword and dagger in hand, I fought him. Each blow was a debt that would be collected on his flesh. While he tried to eradicate me, I did something different: a test to discover the viability of what Xerxes had me train for. I never had the chance to use this power, at least not in that dream where I couldn’t even fully enter.

“That’s all you’ve got, Inolakai!” (Me)

“< Annihilation Order: Final Form >” (Inolakai)

Suddenly, his four arms disappear into pure energy, and all the arms on his back multiply into a circle of arms from which emerges a fist that annihilates the very universe around him along with everything in it. I could feel the intention in that fist; there was no way to stop this blow head-on, no way to defend, and the universe around him was already damaged.

But even in such a situation, I was just happy knowing that I managed to force him to use his full power. Even using my Chaos Concept, I wouldn’t be able to face this blow head-on, but fortunately, I’ve never been one to fight anyone head-on.

“< Chaos Sutra: Ethereal Conversion >” (Me)

“AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!” (Inolakai)

Inolakai didn’t even have time to say anything. All the blows I inflicted on his body, even if they seemed to have healed him, actually left scars on his body, marks that represent a ritual. Only his main elements, along with my power to complete the ritual, caused an eruption of Stellar magma to emerge from the universal rift he created, leaving a column of this energy to engulf him.

His body and existence itself were burning, being truly refined and transformed; the flames of Chaos transform everything they touch.

His scream came deep from within. Inolakai was trying in vain to resist the transformation, but there was no way he could achieve such a feat, not as things were going.

The great arm he created crumbled without even managing to strike a blow. The endless arms he had multiplied so many times were transforming; being in ethereal form, they had no advantage, and as they transformed into pure liquid energy…

I approached him from behind, unaffected by any of this. I am Chaos itself, and with my power I squeezed his head with one hand while my Concept invaded his body through the various marks I had cut into his skin. There was no denying it now; the power invaded him from within.

Soon his entire body seemed to melt, but this time he didn’t disappear. I knew his purpose; he was trying to escape without understanding that there was nowhere to run.

He moved like a liquid creature trying to escape a hot pan; there was nowhere to run, and over time nothing remained of his body, only particles of energy separated into thousands of tiny spheres of fire, continuously refined for several seconds before being released.

“< Condense >” (me)

I then make a hand signal, and all that energy gathers in the palm of my hand, where I use my Concept to materialize an egg in my Aura, then launch it into my shadow, where Tarzor takes it away.

It was for a brief moment, but I could feel the new consciousness forming inside that egg; the practical test was a success.

“Now all that’s left is you…” (me)

I look at the battles happening around me, needing to know well which and how many enemies are still fighting, to know which one needs real help.

The Twins were doing very well, and Urd seemed to be more than alright; she was laughing as she charged at her enemy, and Xerxes had disappeared somewhere. If it weren’t for our connection, I would be worried about her, but now I know she’s more than fine.

Soon my gaze focused on my wives, who were fighting very well before something knocked Kira and Ibuki away. That’s when I advanced.
