Chapter 2018: Cap 2008 (Revised): Your ordeal…
Editor: The Author went on a trip and left this in my hands. I have the rest of the Chapters here and I’ll fix everything. Maybe I’ll release another one today, which I hope will be the last mistake…

Listening to all of this only made me realize I was in danger. The one who created all things acting so childishly was a huge red flag.
But I remained silent, waiting to hear more. I needed to understand everything this time; I wanted to know what they had gotten me into.
“Things didn’t end like that, did they?” (me)
“No, the Creator doesn’t have a physical body. The closest thing to a physical body would be all of creation, with the universes being similar to its cells.” (Xerxes)
“When he realized that simply adding things wasn’t working, that it was only making us more flawed, he realized the fault was his, so he restricted himself to solely creating.” (Xerxes)
“By limiting himself so much, he created the first Concept, the Concept of Creation.” (Xerxes)
“Before, he was everything and everything was him, but from that moment on, he was creation.” (Xerxes)
“His will became purpose, and from that the Concept was born; this is the true Concept, restrictions that lead to a specific focus for the development and ramifications of these concepts.” (Xerxes)
“After restricting himself, he separated his power and gave it to two of his firstborn, these were Life and Death.” (Xerxes)
“Before that, he separated his mind and thus created the System…” (Xerxes)
“The System had the function of keeping everything in order, extremely rational with the sole function of maintaining order; it served as a basis for everything that would come after.” (Xerxes)
“After that, one thing led to another, other Concepts arose among us, new universes were born, new creatures were created, but this time all had flaws as well as strengths without ever exaggerating.” (Xerxes)
Xerxes touched my head, showing me different races. Some were weak and intelligent, some were strong and stupid, some were immune to the cold and died in the heat, some could only live underwater, and so on.
“In the midst of that madness, the elements separated and varied energies came into existence, all because of a battle.” (Xerxes)
“There were those among us who wanted to be the creators, to be in absolute control without depending on anything, they considered themselves supreme beings who didn’t need to improve.” (Xerxes)
“The others were like Malakyel and I, they didn’t care about power, control, or anything like that, they only wanted a purpose, a reason to exist, and it was in this search that everyone became Entities.” (Xerxes)
“Those who sought total control are like those three you saw; they lost the fight and fled, we don’t know where, until Paradox chose to seal himself away, that’s when they first appeared.” (Ayden)
“I don’t understand, what do Paradox and Chaos have to do with them?” (me)
“You’re too naive, just think, who would be able to save them from the Void if they were expelled from all creation?” (Ayden)
“The Creatures of the Abyss and the Generals of the Abyss are invading forces, but they are far from representing the power of the Void.” (Igor)
“The Void can destroy even a Concept, and only Creation can remain.” (Igor)
“At that time, death seemed terrifying. I was young and naive; I didn’t want to see my brothers destroyed, so I helped them, I gave them something that would allow them to survive.” (Xerxes)
“They have witnessed my power; they know that of all the Concepts, only Chaos possesses so few restrictions; not knowing this also frightens them.” (Xerxes)
“What do we do about it?” (me)
“Attack… today we got a key to lead us to them.” (Ayden)
“But that’s not all you need, is it?” (me)
“You’re not telling me this out of politeness, you two are interfering with Pride’s plans, who planned Xerxes’ return from the beginning…” (me)
I knew something was wrong, the Merchant was supposed to be on Pride’s side, not on War’s side.
I also couldn’t believe he was telling me all this so easily. It was clear they were preparing the ground, which is why they decided to explain the context first. They want me to do something for them, those damned bastards.
“I have no idea about Pride’s plans, but she won’t attack. Her confidence must be in bringing the fight here.” (Ayden)
“Xerxes, we’re leaving.” (me)
“Did you get everything you wanted?” (Xerxes)
“Yes…” (me)
“Zenos, haven’t you heard yet…” (Ayden)
“SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!!!!” (me)
I was tired of suppressing my anger, of holding back this urge to dismember these two idiots in front of me, but even so I endured it because I was unable to go against the Entities behind these idiots.
But I also have my limits, they just used me for their plans and I played along to see how far it would go, but I won’t continue to be used by them!
My Aura explodes with pure murderous intent and unrestrained rage, sweeping through the entire city and going far beyond like wildfire.
My eyes turn to the two Avatars behind me, Ayden was completely unperturbed as if my explosion of anger didn’t matter, while Igor had a serious face showing nothing, even though his hands were still trembling.
“Ayden, I don’t give a damn about your plans or those people, I’m your enemy, remember that!” (me)
“You think you’ll scare me by being in the middle of your territory or because of the sea of people with weapons in their hands outside!?” (me)
“Attack me if you want and I’ll respond in kind, but this time I won’t hold back!” (me)
“As for you, Avatar of Commerce, I want my promised part of my deal with the Merchant and after that I don’t want anything more to do with beings I can’t trust!” (me)
Saying this, my Concept of Chaos ignites in my body with my Aura gaining a life of its own like a Dragon baring its teeth at everyone around.
I turn around and keep walking without looking back. In the streets I see those who once seemed like the people of this city, now holding weapons pointed at me with serious faces.
“I’m leaving and whoever gets in my way will die!” (Me)
I advanced one step at a time, my eyes focused only on my own path. There were two people in my way, and I kept watching them as I approached step by step until they left on their own before I could tear them to pieces.
In a few minutes we were out of the city. Everyone made way, and I didn’t need to paint this city with blood. Those two didn’t come after me either.
Only when I left the city and no longer felt the power of the Concept of War in the air, did I make my Aura touch the Flow of Laws, thus alerting Urd of my location.
In a few seconds, a portal appeared before us, and passing through it, we arrived in front of the Temple of Urd where everyone was waiting for us.

Two hours later.
After explaining to everyone what happened while eating something, I called Ronan, Davoth, and Xerxes for a private conversation in the Star Palace.
“What is Pride seeking? Why did he want to bring Xerxes back?” (me)
“I don’t know, not even my brothers know, only my mother would know.” (Ronan)
“You are an Avatar, ask Pride.” (me)
“I am a servant, a representative of Pride, it is not for me to question his actions, that is a right given only to my mother.” (Ronan)
“Pride probably just wanted to make sure that the power of Chaos didn’t fall into enemy hands.” (Davoth)
“Don’t overthink it, after all, you wouldn’t have been able to stop them before and Paradox was vulnerable, even now both are still weakened.” (Davoth)
“So neither of them knew about Igor and the Merchant’s betrayal?” (Me)
“No.” (Ronan)
“…” (Davoth)
“Igor and the Merchant didn’t betray anyone, stop being melodramatic.” (Davoth)
“Acting behind your back in your own interests doesn’t mean betrayal.” (Davoth)
“None of us knew you were a target, at the very least they helped you, even if you don’t like their methods, you can’t argue with the facts.” (Davoth)
“I agree with Davoth, just cool your head and focus on what’s truly important.” (Xerxes)
“What are you talking about?” (Me)
“I was going to let you figure this out on your own, but we don’t have time, as they said, we’re too vulnerable right now.” (Xerxes)
“You need to Transcend into an Entity now.” (Xerxes)
“You need to go through your ordeal, that which is blocking your path.” (Xerxes)
“…” (me)
“You need to confront your Mother and decide your destiny as well as hers, release this chain that binds you for two lifetimes.” (Xerxes)
When Xerxes spoke of that woman, I couldn’t help but focus my gaze on her. A wave of anger surged within me, and I wanted to help her simply for mentioning that damned woman again at a moment when I was already trying to contain my rage.
“Don’t look at me like that. Your reaction only serves to show that I’m right. You need to put an end to this. It’s weighing on your emotions, your mind, and your soul.” (Xerxes)
“Lie to others, but don’t try that with me. I’ve been with you since your soul was formed. I know you better than anyone else.” (Xerxes)
