The creature’s form was twisted and bizarre, its body resembling a strange mass of gelatinous material. It seemed to hover in the air, devoid of legs, yet moving with an unsettling grace as it floated through the darkness of the catacombs.

The texture of the creature was like jelly, but solid and dense, with the color of raw oil. Its surface seemed to ripple and shift, as if it were alive and pulsating with an otherworldly energy.

What truly unsettled them, however, were the faces that adorned the creature’s surface. Dozens of twisted and contorted faces appeared on its gelatinous form, each one contorted in agony and pain. Their eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, casting eerie shadows across the cavernous walls. It emitted a low, haunting sound, its voice echoing through the darkness like a mournful lament.

Grudge <Level 120>

Allen and the others stood frozen in shock as they beheld the bizarre and grotesque form of the monster before them. It seemed to pulsate with an otherworldly energy, its twisted shape and contorted faces sending a chill down their spines.

“What the heck is that thing?” Larissa exclaimed, her voice tinged with both awe and horror.

“It’s a monster, duh,” Alice replied, though the tremor in her voice betrayed her own unease. She couldn’t tear her eyes away from the monstrous form in front of them.

Shea seemed unfazed by the sight. “Only level 120? We should be able to handle this easily,” he said confidently, though his eyes narrowed as he studied the creature’s unusual shape.

Allen, however, remained cautious. “Its unusual shape might create problems,” he warned, his gaze fixed on the monster with a mixture of apprehension and disgust.

But Jane stepped forward with a smirk. “What if we try?” she said, her voice laced with determination. She raised her hand slowly, her fingers curling as she muttered an incantation under her breath.

“Necromancy…” she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the catacombs.

Dozens of undead began to emerge from the ground, their groans echoing through the catacombs. The eerie sound sent shivers down their spines as the undead creatures clawed their way to the surface.

The monstrous form that had captured their attention turned its gaze towards the undead presence, its twisted faces contorting with interest. But before anyone could react, the undead charged at the monster with ferocious intensity, their decaying limbs flailing wildly.

To their astonishment, the monster responded with a terrifying display of power. It seemed to split itself open, revealing a gaping maw that stretched wide, ready to devour anything in its path. With lightning speed, the monster’s massive jaws closed around five of the undead, swallowing them whole in a single gulp.

The monster hovered higher above the ground. The faces that adorned its body seemed to express delight, their twisted features contorted into grotesque smiles. The monster emitted a series of gleeful chuckles, its previous groans replaced by the sound of laughter.

The group watched in stunned silence as the monster continued to chew on its grisly meal, its movements fluid and graceful despite its monstrous appearance. It was a sight both terrifying and mesmerizing, leaving them with a sense of unease at the creature’s unpredictable nature.

“What in the world…” Bella whispered, her voice barely audible over the cacophony of sounds echoing through the catacombs.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” Alice murmured, her eyes wide with disbelief.

“Ugh, thank goodness we didn’t come straight at it,” Zoe said with a cringe. Her eyes widened in horror as the monstrous entity once again swooped down to devour the hapless undead. Despite their formidable appearance, the undead seemed utterly powerless against the beast’s relentless onslaught.

Jane let out a frustrated sigh and lowered her hands, her brow furrowed in concentration. “I should summon my Wraith instead of relying on these useless undead,” she muttered, her voice tinged with frustration. She knew that her usual tactics would be of little use against such a formidable foe.

Vivian nodded in agreement, her eyes darting back and forth as she assessed the situation. “It seems this monster cannot be attacked by melee type players,” she concluded, her tone grave. The realization sent a chill down their spines as they realized the full extent of the monster’s power.

Allen’s expression hardened as he raised his hand, his mind racing as he considered their options. “Let’s find out,” he said, his voice determined. “Demonic Lance,” Allen muttered his skill.

Dozens of dark lances surrounded him. The air crackled with energy as the weapons hovered menacingly around him. With a swift motion of his hand, he sent the lances hurtling toward the monstrous entity, their sharp tips gleaming in the dim light of the catacombs.

But to Allen’s dismay, the monster simply opened its gaping maw and swallowed the lances whole, as if they were nothing more than mere morsels to be devoured. His frown deepened as he watched his attacks disappear into the creature’s insatiable hunger.

Refusing to be deterred, Allen gritted his teeth and concentrated, his mind racing as he sought a way to outmaneuver their formidable opponent. With a deft movement, he redirected the trajectory of the lances, causing them to execute a U-turn and circle back toward the monster from behind.

The lances closed in on the creature’s back. Allen’s hopes soared, only to be dashed once again as the monster’s back split open, revealing yet another cavernous maw. With lightning speed, it swallowed the lances in one swift motion, its hunger seemingly insatiable.

The group watched in disbelief as Allen’s attacks were effortlessly devoured by the monster, its grotesque form pulsating with dark energy. They knew that they needed to find a new strategy to defeat it.
