The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2358: Burn the world

Chapter 2358: Burn the world

"I’ve got you!"

The monstrous entity roared, his voice resonating with countless overlapping echoes, as though its body were a vessel housing a myriad of souls—each one brimming with rage, madness, and an unending thirst for blood. The sound alone made the void tremble.

His right arm swelled to nearly twice his original size, flesh bulging and twisting unnaturally as he slashed toward Cain’s neck with overwhelming force.

Yet just as the blow was about to land, all of its power vanished.

Two fingers—Cain’s middle and index fingers—had intercepted the strike.

The monstrous arm shuddered as every ounce of destructive force behind his axe was absorbed, halted completely by those two slender digits. Awe and admiration rippled through the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance as they witnessed the impossible feat.

But their relief was short-lived.

Cain’s left arm trembled violently.

"BOOM!"

The next instant, it exploded.

Blood sprayed across Cain’s face as his arm was torn apart from the inside, reduced to fragments by the sheer force he had contained. Even so, the Scarlet King’s gaze never wavered. His eyes blazed with scarlet and golden radiance, flooding the void with unwavering will.

He had lost his left arm—but the power had already reached his stomach and was immediately redirected.

Instead of releasing the energy in its raw state, Cain condensed every last iota of it into a Zero-State Sphere, his right hand blazing as he thrust it forward. With a ferocious smile, he blasted the sphere straight into the monster’s chest.

The creature was truly impressed.

He could sense the terrifying destructive power contained within that sphere, a force capable of erasing both flesh and soul. Yet he did not retreat. Unlike Radagon, he was not forged to conquer or scheme. He was an entity of pure annihilation, born from the essence of the Root with a singular purpose—to destroy, erase, and spread decay and eternal corruption without end.

So instead of pulling back, he attacked with everything he had left.

His left axe flashed forward like a divine sundering force.

The two attacks landed almost simultaneously.

The Zero-State Sphere embedded itself into the monster’s flesh just as the axe crashed into Cain’s left ribs.

For a brief moment, silence reigned.

Then—

"BOOOOOOOOM!"

A colossal explosion erupted, shattering the void as both the Scarlet King and the monster of the Root were blasted in opposite directions. The Zero-State Sphere expanded violently upon impact, transforming into a massive meteor of Nihility and Entropy that devoured flesh and soul alike.

The monster was driven deep into the surface of the World of the Root, the corrosive power continuing to push downward with relentless force. Waves of dark energy—capable of eroding time itself—spread in every direction, wreaking havoc across continents formed of rotting flesh and endless decay.

Cain did not emerge unscathed.

The axe had cleaved through his flesh, blood, and muscle as though they were paper. Worse still, it released a crimson arc of energy that sent him hurtling through the void, forcibly dispersing the Gate of Babel.

Blood sprayed endlessly as his body tumbled through space.

The body that should have been as durable as a Late Alpha-Omega Overgod Treasure after activating Resurreccion was cut clean in half. Nearly everything below his heart and above his waist was gone, torn away in brutal fashion.

Shock flickered in Cain’s eyes.

Then, in the very next instant, they erupted with blazing will.

The power of the Samsara Immortal Body surged forth, consuming a massive ocean of energy in a single second. Dark purple flames engulfed his form as regeneration began at a terrifying speed. Under the gaze of every warrior in the void, his spine, bones, nerves, muscles, and internal organs were restored one by one.

Cain’s figure reformed completely, bursting with renewed power, not a single wound left in his body.

Yet he was not the only one who regenerated.

"BOOOOOOM!"

A violent explosion echoed from the surface of the World of the Root as the monster emerged. A massive hole gaped in his chest, and nearly the entire front of his body had been obliterated. But fragments of the World of the Root tore themselves free, fusing into his flesh and restoring it at a shocking pace.

The monster stared at Cain with a bloodthirsty smile.

The damage had only ignited his hunger for battle.

"Finally," he growled, licking blood from its lips with a long tongue, "after eons, I have found a worthy fight. I, Robuke, thank you for this."

His energy exploded outward as its veins bulged once more, pushing his already monstrous power even higher.

Cain’s eyes sharpened as he analyzed his enemy.

"His body is back at its peak," Cain noted inwardly, "but Zero-State Force corrodes the soul. That damage hasn’t fully healed."

He then assessed himself.

"I’m not in perfect shape either. Regenerating my missing organs consumed an enormous amount of energy."

Taking a deep breath, the Scarlet King summoned a Zero-State Spear, refining it further with the Light of the Flow and the Primordial Force of the Void. He glanced briefly toward Anark and the others.

"Burn as much of the surface as you can," Cain commanded calmly. "Then retreat before the hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh closes."

Without waiting another second, his Wings of Chaos flared as he surged forward, crossing the Wall of Fire and Flesh while his body, soul, and will burned fiercely.

The Universe Matrix would no longer suppress the enemy’s power.

The battle ahead would be far more dangerous.

But there was no turning back.

Axe and spear collided in the next instant, their energies detonating in all directions. The Power of Chaos surged through the will and souls of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance, igniting their battle spirit and burning away all doubt and hesitation.

As they poured through the breach in the wall, they unleashed devastation upon the surface of the World of the Root, destroying everything in their path.
