The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress

Chapter 1268 - 1208: Teasing My Little Girlfriend

A family usually consists of a strict father and a loving mother, but that wasn’t the case in their house. Adrian Desmond was doting and indulgent towards his children, even more lenient than other fathers, even though they were boys.

Sienna Johnson worried that spoiling the children would turn them into spoiled brats, lacking moderation, unable to understand the hard work behind earning money, and failing to strive forward.

However, why should Adrian’s children understand the hardship behind earning money or work hard to advance? Wouldn’t his relentless efforts allow his children to live a life where they can follow their hearts?

"Dad..." Sheehan called out after his father stayed silent for a long time, finally bringing Adrian Desmond back to reality.

Adrian Desmond’s gaze swept across the faces of the three children. He smiled and said, "I was just thinking about your mom."

"..."

"Do you all miss your mom?"

"..."

"Mom surely misses you too."

Adrian Desmond now somewhat understood why Sienna Johnson desperately wanted to have children. Despite his inner pain, seeing the children lifted his spirits.

Seeing Sienna’s shadow in their children felt so magical.

"Come on, let’s go have dinner."

Adrian Desmond lifted Sheehan in one arm and pushed the double stroller with the other, heading towards the dining room.

Samara happened to return from grocery shopping, seeing Adrian Desmond, she was startled, "Brother-in-law, you came back?"

"Yes, why aren’t you at school today?" Adrian smiled at her.

"We just finished our monthly exam and got a day off."

Samara glanced at Adrian Desmond without seeing Sienna Johnson and asked cautiously, "Brother-in-law, where’s my sister?"

"Still haven’t found her." Adrian said quietly.

"When will she be found?"

Adrian Desmond didn’t know either, "I’ve been searching continuously."

With so much time passed, Samara felt her hope diminishing. A junior high classmate of hers had been kidnapped, his family reported to the police, and the kidnappers killed him anyway.

Samara’s eyes dimmed and she whispered, "Brother-in-law, I’ll go put the vegetables in the kitchen."

Samara lowered her head, trotting into the kitchen.

In the kitchen, she saw her mother preparing lunch and said, "Mom, brother-in-law is back..."

"Mom, sister still hasn’t been found."

Pauline Briggs nodded without speaking.

"Isn’t brother-in-law very capable? How come he hasn’t found sister yet?"

During this time, everyone’s hearts were hanging for Sienna Johnson, Pauline Briggs and Samara did what they could to take care of the four children. Recently, Samara even stopped attending tutoring classes, going home right after school to care for the children.

"Samara, your brother-in-law must be more worried about your sister. If your sister isn’t found, your brother-in-law surely is very saddened. You should be careful with your words in front of him, understand?"

Knowing her younger daughter was guileless, Pauline Briggs advised her, fearing she might say something wrong.

Samara nodded, "Mom, I didn’t say anything."

"Good girl."

Samara helped Pauline Briggs with the cooking. Pauline’s culinary skills were excellent, and she taught Samara well; the dishes they prepared were delicious.

Pauline Briggs felt for Adrian Desmond, preparing a lavish lunch, knowing he loved meat, she made plenty of meat dishes but also prepared a fair amount of vegetables and fruits.

"Alright, I’ll prepare the rest, you bring the food to the table, your brother-in-law must be hungry by now."

"Okay."

Pauline watched her daughter carry the soup, reminding, "Be careful, don’t burn yourself."

"Mom, am I that useless in your eyes?" Carrying a soup shouldn’t be so worrisome.

"It’s enough for our family to have someone as capable as your sister, you don’t need to be very useful."

Samara stuck out her tongue, carefully carrying the soup out of the kitchen.

Adrian Desmond saw Samara’s frail body carrying such a large bowl of soup, he quickly got up to take it.

"Brother-in-law, I can manage." She wasn’t that useless, alright?

Adrian placed the soup on the table, got up to the kitchen to bring out the prepared dishes, always keeping a humble attitude before his mother-in-law.

"Mom, why did you cook so much?" Adrian asked.

"Also, your sister and brother-in-law need to eat too." Pauline yelled to Samara outside the kitchen, "Samara, go call your sister Paige’s family."

"Understood."

Samara played with the twins for a while, then went to call Kiya and Paige.

Passing through the corridor, she saw Aaron Faber, Samara stopped, hesitating to step forward.

Aaron raised an eyebrow upon seeing her, then smiled, "You didn’t have classes today?"

Samara ignored him, lowered her head and walked forward. As she passed Aaron, he grabbed her.

"I bought you a gift, it’s in my room. Come get it with me."

"I don’t want it!" Samara struggled in his arms, afraid to shout, fearing others might see them in such an ambiguous situation—it’d be hard to explain later.

Aaron took advantage of her shyness, always bullying her when no one was around.

"Your breasts have grown, have you been drinking papaya milk lately?" Aaron teased.

Samara’s face turned crimson, teary-eyed, she glared at him, "You... shameless!"

Aaron hugged her tighter, squeezing her front until it changed shape. Indeed, she was becoming a young woman, developing well.

"Why embarrassed? You will marry me eventually."

"I won’t marry you!"

She wouldn’t marry, she didn’t want to marry anyone; she just wanted to live with her family forever.

"Girls grow up, they have to marry."

Aaron didn’t find himself perverted at all, in Abyanabad, Samara wasn’t a child.

"Let go of me!"

"Haven’t seen you for awhile, let me hold you for a bit."

"I will tell my brother-in-law!" Samara brought Adrian into the scenario.

She knew Adrian was Aaron’s boss, Aaron might not fear her but he would definitely fear Adrian.

"Go ahead and tell... if you dare, tell everyone. I don’t care!"

"..."

"Samara, your family is so conservative, if they knew we slept together, would they force you to marry me?"

Samara began to cry. "What nonsense are you saying? We’ve never... like that..."

Aaron realized he went too far in teasing her, quickly let her go, "Why are you crying again? Just teasing you."

"Leave!"

"Fine, I’ll leave, don’t regret it!"

Samara wiped her tears, as she prepared to leave, she heard Aaron say, "If I leave, let’s see who helps you find your sister."

"..."

"Your sister was taken by that bad guy Night Owl, wonder how she’s faring now?"

"Night Owl? He kidnapped my sister."

"Yes."
