The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress

Chapter 1150 - 1090: The Rhythm of a Tyrant

Kiya became anxious upon hearing this, and his face immediately darkened, "If you don’t intend to remarry me, then what was everything we just did?"

"..."

"My Princess Consort, since when did you become so open, sleeping with just any man?"

Paige Desmond also got angry, "Since you think that way, there’s no need for me to say anything else."

Paige Desmond wrapped her body in the quilt, got out of bed, and planned to pick up her clothes from the floor, but Kiya hugged her from behind.

"Speak, I’m listening," Kiya’s tone softened, as Paige slapped him, "I don’t want to say it anymore."

Kiya didn’t let her go, his hands slipped under the quilt, caressing her smooth body, reigniting the passion that was hard to extinguish, and Paige felt his change as well.

She never knew that this man’s indulgence could be so terrifying.

"No, it hurts."

Kiya kissed her back, his hands kneading her front, making Paige feel like a femme fatale who caused the ruin of nations, and Kiya like a foolish emperor.

"Kiya, stop. I have something to tell you."

But Kiya couldn’t listen anymore. As they lay on their sides, Kiya raised one of her legs and entered the mysterious Peach Blossom Haven again.

...

Outside in the corridor, Gary and Gavin stood like temple guardians, keeping watch from dawn till dusk, then from dusk till sunset.

The gates of the Imperial Palace were about to close.

Gary couldn’t help but ask, "Should we remind the Sultan, if he doesn’t go back soon, he won’t be able to return."

"If you’re going to speak, you say it."

How long had the Sultan held it in? Now that he finally got his way, who would be foolish enough to get in the line of fire.

Paige Desmond’s voice of pain mingled with pleasure faintly came out, but the two men outside kept their faces unchanged.

They were Kiya’s personal guards, trained for certain special scenarios, such as maintaining a straight face in situations like this.

Tonight, they were destined not to go back.

...

When the two woke up again, it was already late at night. After a nap, Kiya felt great, whereas the woman in his arms was exhausted.

Kiya looked at Paige Desmond’s sleeping face, feeling particularly satisfied.

Why could his father indulge in pleasures, but he had to be an industrious and restrained Sultan?

To hell with those responsibilities and honors.

In the future, he wouldn’t want her just once a week; he would indulge his desires whenever the mood struck.

"Water..." Paige Desmond said hoarsely.

There wasn’t any water here.

Kiya called out towards the door, "Bring some water."

"Yes."

Gary stayed there to guard while Gavin went to get the water.

Gavin brought the water, knocked on the door, and said, "Sultan, the water is here."

"Come in."

"Yes."

Gavin opened the door, kept his head low, eyes on the ground, placed the water on the table, quickly retreated, and closed the door behind him.

Kiya fed Paige Desmond the water, her eyes never opened, and she soon fell back into a deep sleep.

Kiya, feeling energized and not at all sleepy, held Paige Desmond for a while longer, then got up and dressed.

He wrapped Paige Desmond tightly in a blanket, walked to the door, and said, "Open the door."

Gavin opened the door, and Kiya carried Paige Desmond out and walked towards her residence.

He remembered the courtyard where Paige Desmond lived required crossing an arched bridge. The yard was strewn with pebbles, had a big jar with water lilies, and two beautiful Koi Fish.

Dylan liked those two Koi Fish a lot.

"Where are you taking me?" Paige Desmond opened her eyes to see the starry sky, unsure if she was awake or in a dream.

"To your bedroom."

"Why haven’t you left yet?"

"The gates of the Imperial Palace have closed, I can’t leave."

Paige Desmond had no strength left, uttered a few words, and then her eyes shut again.

Once inside the room, Kiya laid her on the bed, then went to the bathroom and started filling the bathtub. When it was almost full, Kiya carried Paige Desmond into the bathroom.

They soaked in a perfectly warm bathtub, the water easing both of their fatigue.

Kiya, having never bathed someone before, pulled out quite a few strands of her hair while washing Paige Desmond’s hair, waking her in the process. She glanced around, realizing they were in her bathroom.

"Why haven’t you left yet?"

Paige Desmond had asked this question earlier, "The gates of the Imperial Palace have closed, I can’t leave."

Paige Desmond didn’t believe such nonsense.

She got up, went to the shower, rinsing her body, waves surging outward as Kiya watched her, making her not dare to clean thoroughly.

Kiya’s gaze was burning as he watched Paige Desmond bathe.

"What are you staring at? Close your eyes," she splashed water at him, wetting his face.

"After all our time married, it’s my first time seeing you bathe."

Paige Desmond finished quickly, wrapped her body in a bath towel, and walked out of the bathroom. Kiya quickly rinsed off, not bothering to dry himself, wrapping a towel around his waist, and followed her out.

At the dressing table, Paige Desmond was applying skincare products on herself, and he walked over saying, "You already smell nice, why use these things?"

In the mirror, Paige Desmond’s face was still young and beautiful... exactly the face Kiya loved.

She had seen Gulit before, who didn’t look nearly as captivating as she did.

"If Gulit were more beautiful than me, would you still cling to me?" Paige suddenly asked.

"I would!"

"Really?" Paige’s tone was filled with disbelief.

One should never wholly trust a man’s words; Paige stopped debating the meaningless topic and continued to say what she had left unsaid before.

"I won’t go back to the Imperial Palace with you, and I won’t remarry you. Dylan doesn’t want to be a prince, and I don’t want to be a queen. Dylan and I will maintain our current lifestyle. If you want to visit us, come to the Desmond Family."

Kiya understood her intentions; she wanted to maintain a lover’s relationship with him.

In the end, she just wasn’t willing to accept him again.

"Paige Desmond, are you waiting for the moment when I get tired of you, thinking that I’ll let you go once I am?"

"..."

"Then keep waiting. I won’t get tired of you in this lifetime, I won’t ever let go!"

"When you return to the Imperial Palace tomorrow, give the two people my brother wants to him."

Kiya didn’t like this atmosphere, it felt like they were negotiating a price after a rendezvous.

"Understood."

"You should leave. It’s morning. If people see you, just imagine the rumors that’ll spread."

"My Princess Consort, I’m not afraid, what are you worried about?"

Kiya got onto Paige Desmond’s bed, surrounded by her scent, he inhaled deeply.

"So good, it’s all your smell."

Paige Desmond was speechless, glared at him, then got on the bed too.

Kiya pulled a quilt over them both, drawing Paige Desmond into his arms.

"Princess Consort, am I dreaming?"

"Don’t call me Princess Consort!"
