Taking the Mafia to the Magic World

Chapter 1141: Vicente’s Proposal III

Chapter 1141: Vicente’s Proposal III

Vicente was satisfied with Lothur’s conditions. Although it wasn’t full support, having the chance to receive even just hints from someone of Devil Ritter’s power would be a big plus for his cause!

Naturally, Larissa, Rex and Kong thought the same. Just being able to say that they had received Devil Ritter’s favor would be enough for them to make all of Hell tremble. Even the Devils as strong as Qhava would think twice before opposing them when they heard that.

“Your support is more than enough, Senior,” Vicente said as he made a gesture of thanks. “We’ll do our best to get in touch with the Celestial King’s successor and combine our efforts. When we fulfill your requirements, we’ll get together for more relevant actions!”

Lothur nodded with a smile on his face. He then asked, “I hope you get there quickly. But in the meantime, can you tell me who the Celestial King’s successor is? I don’t remember any impressive Devils in this generation before you came along.”

“About that…” Vicente hesitated for a moment. However, they were in Hell, in particular, in the domain of Lothur Ritter, a powerful 9-Star being of the 10th stage. There was no way a conversation between them could escape from there and since they had already agreed on the alliance, talking about Minos would hardly change their situation.

“Well, to tell you the truth, I don’t think he’s a Devil anymore. When I first met him, years ago, he was a Devil. He helped me in some matters with banishing cursed souls and then saved my life from being taken by an Entitled Deity.

But since his wife gave me an Infernal Crown, I haven’t seen them. After that day, they gave me some strange recommendations and then their infernal marks disappeared completely, as if they had died.”

Lothur and his wives changed their expressions several times during Vicente’s speech.

“Did they die?” Natali asked as she stood up and approached Vicente with an ugly expression. She felt as if the boy in front of her had given her false hope!

“Not exactly.” Vicente smiled bitterly. “For a long time, I had doubts about what happened to them. But they’re alive. I know that.”

“Vicente Fuller, explain yourself better,” Annalisse asked in a tense tone.

Vicente looked at Lothur and said, “I think I’d better tell you his name. You’ll understand my certainty about why he’s alive even though he’s disappeared.

His name is Minos Stuart, and his wife, the one who turned me, was called Abby Miller.”

The six powerful Devils receiving Vicente’s group immediately understood the situation.

They remembered Qhava’s rebellious underling and the talented death controller who had got one of the Hell’s greatest inheritances in the last 100,000 years.

Who among the strongest Devils hadn’t heard of Abby Miller and Minos Stuart?

Both had shocked the dimension decades ago, caused chaos and even started the war that was still going on—one of the Hell’s biggest internal conflicts in the last tens of thousands of years.

Lothur had even seen Minos Stuart up close once and saw great potential in the man.

“I see,” The Devil with the long silver hair scratched his face reflexively. “I saw Minos Stuart once. He was the most impressive creature I’ve ever encountered on my journey. Even at a much lower level than the leaders of Hell, he commanded attention and escaped from all his enemies.”

“They say he has the infamous power to control time.”

“Not only that, he has the spirit and body of a Divine Dragon and his mastery over the Reincarnation Wheel was one of the strongest we’ve ever had for someone of his cultivation.”

Lothur and his wives exchanged comments, understanding how Minos could be so powerful during his time in Hell. If he was the Celestial King’s successor, then it all made sense!

“I didn’t know you had been transformed by that woman,” Rebecca said, looking into Vicente’s dark eyes. “Apart from you, she only turned one other person into a Devil. And that person is already a 5-Star Transcendent and is close to joining the ranks of the strongest in the Hell.”

Vicente knew about Abby’s other heir, although he wasn’t aware of her current cultivation or even how to find her. All he knew was that she was a potential ally in this dimension.

Lothur then asked, “But what exactly happened to them? You were probably one of the last to see them with their old identities, right?”

Vicente nodded positively. “That must be the case. They lost their Devil identities a few minutes after leaving me here… That day and in the months that followed, I wondered several times if they had died. But then I realized this was nonsense. Senior Minos warned me before departing that he would only see me twice in the future and that I should prepare myself.

It was only when I got back to Anicane that I realized they were planning something challenging before they left me and had probably come up with a method of abdicating their infernal positions.”

“That would be impossible for anyone else, but I don’t doubt he succeeded,” Lothur replied, remembering how Minos could fight mid-level Transcendents even when he was only a Sorcerer.

Vicente was impressive, and the Hell itself seemed to favor him. But even so, he could fight low-level Transcendents at most while being only a Sorcerer.

And even though Vicente was still one level below Minos when the man entered the Hell, Lothur couldn’t see this young man surpassing Minos in the future. Even Lothur himself couldn’t help but shudder at the thought of what a monster Minos would be if he were able to enter the last part of the Transcendent stage!

Because of this and all of Vicente’s words, Lothur believed with all his heart that Minos and such a man’s women were still alive.

’If he has ceased to be a Devil and is still alive, then he will surely become an Entitled Deity. In that case, Minos Stuart will have to kill Lydis or come after me to fulfill his last requirement.’ Lothur thought silently, considering how impossible it would be for a new 9-Star Transcendent to emerge as long as he and Lydis existed.

For Lothur, it had already been almost impossible to reach his level, so for Minos, who was even more monstrous, it would be even more challenging.

But Lothur didn’t want to talk about this major problem with Vicente Fuller. This was a critical point that he already thought would make it difficult for their plans to work, but he really wanted to give the young man in front of him a chance.

Looking at Vicente, Lothur genuinely hoped this young Devil would work a miracle. Only then could he help his wives and overcome the limitations of the elemental laws!

“I believe you. But given what you’ve told me and what I know about Minos Stuart, be very careful. He’ll probably be an Entitled Deity the next time you see him. Even if he can be friendly, remember that we are natural enemies.”

Vicente had also concluded that his senior would become a member of Argardus. After all, someone so powerful and who had given up his position in Hell would only have room in that other absolute dimension!

“Don’t worry, I’m aware. If Senior Minos wasn’t the Celestial King’s successor, I’d be too afraid to interact with him. In fact, it might be better to hunt him down and ensure his demise. But since he has the will of the Celestial King, all I can do is give him the benefit of the doubt.”

In the end, Vicente really had no choice. Since the Celestial King’s successor was needed, he could only rely on Minos, even if he was going to be careful in his contact.
