Taking the Mafia to the Magic World

Chapter 1138: The Power of Lothur Ritter!

Chapter 1138: The Power of Lothur Ritter!

Lothur smiled at Qhava as a spinning white wheel formed behind him, with a white, river-like flow forming on either side of the water wheel.

Vicente and Qhava looked at Lothur’s power, imagining that this was the Reincarnation Wheel resulting from Devil Ritter’s domain of darkness. However, that was only one of this Devil’s abilities, an ability extremely similar to the real Reincarnation Wheel.

Lothur formed his Reincarnation Wheel by merging it with the River of Souls, his main ability since he left Concordia to travel through Anicane and then discover Hell, thousands of years ago.

His Reincarnation Wheel grew stronger, becoming so impressive that even the powerful Devils under Qhava’s command felt as if their souls were leaving their bodies.

Qhava herself felt her Infernal Crown tremble on her head, feeling the terror that was the strongest Devil in Hell.

Lothur didn’t need the support of his women to eliminate Qhava’s subordinates right there with him and seriously injure her with his attack. Even standing dozens of meters away from her, he made her flinch and almost fall to her knees in his presence.

“Lothur! You’ll regret this!” She said in hatred, marking another name on her list of most hated beings. “If I die, your position will be more unstable than you see!” She screamed, spitting blood as she struggled not to lose her essence to the enemy.

Although the two had a difference of only one level of power, the level of soul power was exponential, which meant ever greater differences throughout the cultivation journey. While a first stage magician might not have that much difference between a 1-Star and a 9-Star, with the weakest being able to threaten the strongest, at the 10th stage, it wasn’t so simple.

A single Transcendent 9-Star could defeat all the other Transcendent 8-Star!

Qhava and the other 8-Star Transcendents had never been so sure about it, since there were few reports of fights between such strong beings. But today she learned the hard way, not being able to stand up to Lothur’s attacks for even half a minute!

“I’ll take the risk,” Lothur said as he clasped one of her hands, finally ending the life of this cursed creature.

Qhava had disturbed the peace of many creatures, inside and outside Hell. For almost 3,000 years, Lothur had put up with this hellish woman, who had never given up, even when he had overtaken her back then. Today, however, he put an end to her journey, using the pretext of her invasion of his territory to end their long rivalry.

Qhava’s soul was sucked towards Lothur’s Reincarnation Wheel, leaving behind a black crown as her body dissipated into thin air.

Vicente and the others saw the actual appearance of her, who in the last instant of her existence lost her rocky appearance, exposing a beautiful countenance, long golden hair, and silver eyes.

When she lost her darkness, she seemed to lose all her evil and smiled, saying nothing, just nodding in recognition to the group.

As she entered Lothur Ritter’s Reincarnation Wheel, her soul body exploded into infinite fragments of light, beginning her spiritual reincarnation.

’Is this what a Devil’s death is like?’ Vicente looked at the place from which Qhava had disappeared, sensing the differences between ordinary deaths and that of this existence.

Little by little, Lothur’s Reincarnation Wheel disappeared, with the silence over the area returning to bring the newly arrived group back to the situation they had placed themselves in.

As the women of Lothur smiled in Larissa’s direction, recognizing her appearance, he also noticed his former associate at the Ritter Motor Company. Larissa’s aura had changed a lot because of the Infernal Crown and how strong she had grown since leaving Concordia, but her appearance had hardly changed at all after so long since they had last seen each other.

For Lothur and his women, almost 4,000 years had passed, while for Larissa, just under a thousand years had passed since Lothur, Viktoria, Annalise, Rebecca, and Elke ascended the path of immortality.

Before greeting her friend, who was now on her knees, Lothur said to Vicente and the others. “What you have just seen was no ordinary death.

Unlike us, who entered Hell with freedoms because of the personalities of those who turned us into Devils, Qhava and many of the Devils were transformed in another way. They were forced to accept their position and blindly follow the orders of their superiors. Putting up with this for a few years isn’t so difficult, but over the millennia it’s hard for one not to lose their essences, turning into truly diabolical entities, selfish, narcissistic, psychopathic.

The darkness of their souls completely takes over their souls, erasing who they were and turning them into macabre beings, as was the case with Qhava. When they are killed, their souls are freed from suffering and they return to their origins. That’s why she seemed happy and relieved before she disappeared.”

Viktoria said to the group. “Qhava, in particular, lived for 100,000 years like that. Nothing more of her former self could be seen in her for a long time. And for all that time, her actions have only disgraced her, making her truly miserable.”

“Killing her today could also be considered an act of mercy,” said Elke Becker, shaking her long red hair as she approached her old ally, who was on the ground, exhausted and shaken by seeing her old companions again.

Viktoria and Lothur had been her rivals in the past, when they studied at the same academy in Concordia. After their departure, only a few years after their alliance was formed to fight the demons, she had always thought of them, of seeing them again and perhaps vying with them as they had in the academy. Now, facing them, she could see how far they had come, losing a little of her old goals, but being thrilled for their success.

“Everyone, congratulations on the position you’ve reached. I’m sure it wasn’t easy to become so strong,” she said as she stood up with the help of Viktoria, her oldest rival.

Viktoria smiled and said, “I’m sure your path to this point was harder, Larissa. We were helped a lot by Lothur. Otherwise, we might not even have reached your level.”

Vicente gave the group space to interact with Larissa, seeing one by one of Lothur’s women hugging her and saying a few words of happiness to her.

Natali said, “I’ve heard a lot about you throughout our journey in Hell, Sister Larissa. Too bad we didn’t meet in Concordia. Back then, I was just a talentless girl from another state. I met Lothur by chance and had the chance to cultivate at a high level. Luckily I met him in Anicane.” She looked at Lothur with a passionate smile.

Lothur clapped one of his hands on Larissa’s shoulder and said, “It’s good to have you back. We’ll talk about Concordia later. I’m curious to know how the continent developed after our departure.”

He then looked at Vicente. “Now, however, it’s time to deal with the major subject of your journey here. I knew that the notorious Devil Vicente would come to me one day. After all, you are Hell’s chosen one. The question is, have you come to challenge me, Vicente Fuller?”
