System's POV

Chapter 1344: Nothing To Believe In [Part 1]

Chapter 1344: Nothing To Believe In [Part 1]

Sharak’s eyes glazed, starting to regret its life choices.

When one of its subordinates reported that it had spotted thousands of low-ranking Wanderers meeting Jar Jar in an oasis near their territory, he had an idea.

It decided to take this opportunity to humiliate Jar Jar and take three thousand human slaves as a freebie.

Since its rank was higher than Jar Jar’s, and its army was more powerful than all the Wanderers and Jar Jar’s troops combined, Sharak believed that there was no way in hell that something could go wrong.

Obviously, this was the first time it was meeting the System of Cannon Fodders, and that sealed its Fat—destiny.

Thirteen’s Rank was once again sealed by The One, bringing him back down to a Rookie but with the strength of a Champion.

Had he managed his Pseudo-God rank, he wouldn’t have to go to all this trouble and would have taken the initiative to slap Zaphiel silly until the Celestial called Zion his Grandpa.

Unfortunately, The One would not allow him to retain that kind of power. With that strength, no one could simply stop Zion from doing what he wanted in both Pangea and Solterra.

However, while Zion was still in his Pseudo-God Form, he created Runic Weapons for his monster army.

These runic weapons worked in both Pangea and Solterra because they followed the same principle and were treated as artifacts instead of firearms.

As a Pseudo-God, Thirteen could make thousands of them without getting a nosebleed.

He had personally created Battle Regalias for Giga, Blacky, Hercules, Rocky, the Ogres, the Trolls, as well as the rest of his minions.

Of course, he made some for his family and lovers as well.

However, he asked them to only use it as a last resort.

The weapons that his army used against Sharak’s troops were only the prototype of their final gear.

These artifacts could display sixty percent of the original power of their Battle Regalia, which wasn’t too shabby.

“Do you surrender?” Thirteen asked the Desert King Serpent, who was lying on the ground, no longer able to fight back.

“Never!” Sharak hissed. “I’d rather die!”

“We’ll see about that,” Thirteen smiled faintly before asking Rocky to drag the serpent to the portal that led to the Domain of the Apocalypse.

Thirteen lacked high-ranking fighters right now, so he was in no position to be choosy. He simply recruited any Rank 7 and above monsters he found along his journey.

His strongest ally, Cranky, was currently recuperating from his injuries.

The Celestials of Solterra were very different from the Celestials of Artem.

In this world, their strength was equivalent to that of peak Demigods.

So, if a Celestial of Artem were to appear in Solterra, they would not be a match for the Seven Celestials and the Seven Fiends, who were treated as Deities in this world.

The same could be said for Celestials and Fiends that came from other worlds.

This was also the reason the Jinns had failed their invasion. They were simply not a match for the true powerhouses of this world.

They were lucky that the Seven Celestials and Seven Fiends didn’t wipe them out, allowing them to stay in their world after their leaders were killed during the great war that took place in the past.

But the Celestials and Fiend only left them be because they posed no threat to them. Frankly, some of them even thought that having more variety in their world would make it more interesting.

In the end, the Jinns lived in the territories that many other races deemed as uninhabitable.

A few smart ones allied themselves with the Celestials and the Fiends, like Kamrusepa, who was one of Mammon’s vassals.

Since it would take Cranky a long time to recover, Thirteen would have to fend for himself and build an army that could face off against the armies of the Celestials and Fiends.

So, how would he do that?

It was really simple.

Just snatch them from others by force.

Of course, on the surface, Thirteen had no connection to the monsters that appeared out of nowhere in the Samara Desert.

He was just a weak Wanderer.

Someone insignificant in the eyes of the Majin Prince, who was once Sharak’s Master.

“Let’s go,” Thirteen said to Jar Jar after returning from the Domain of the Apocalypse.

“Okay.” Jar Jar nodded.

This time, he no longer showed any sign of impatience, disrespect, or disgust toward Zion and the Wanderers.

After seeing the teenage boy’s subordinates, he no longer looked down on him and the Wanderers.

’Now I understand why the Mistress values him so much,’ Jar Jar thought as he and his men led the way.

It would take them a month to reach Paimon’s territory after crossing the Samara Desert.

From there, it would take them two months to reach Mount Olympus.

But Thirteen knew that even if he and the Wanderers arrived at their destination earlier than the Celestial’s Army, the chances of them succeeding in their mission were small.

He was very smart, so it didn’t take long for him to realize why the God of Wanderers had sent him to the ancient ruins.

The murals were the key to clearing the mission, which meant that he would need to gain the help of at least one of the four Fiends of Solterra.

Forneus, Mammon, Apollyon, and Dantanian.

Mammon was the easiest to find, but his city was simply too far from their location.

Also, the teenage boy still held a grudge against the Greedy Fiend because Mammon had tried to kill him in the past.

Apollyon was an option because he was Tiona’s Progenitor Deity.

But the Land of Death was also too far from their location.

As for the Fiend of Many Faces, Dantanian… he was the most mobile among the fiends, but finding him was like looking for a single fish in the ocean.

That just left one candidate, who seemed to be destined to meet Thirteen due to their shared connection.

Forneus was the Patron Deity of the Valbarra Archipelago in the past.

The place where Thirteen had been sent during his First Wandering, which led him to fight against Arundel the Destroyer and bring peace to the land.

A place where he was hailed as a savior by its inhabitants, which was abandoned by their Deity hundreds of years ago.
