Chapter 2110 Suuurrreeee. I believe you.
Chapter 2110 Suuurrreeee. I believe you.
“What have you done…?”
Zarveth questioned, narrowing his eyes as he felt like his senses were playing with him, and Nux…
He just chuckled.
“Nothing, I just created my Domain.
After all, I broke through and became a Transcendent now.”
“A… Transcendent…?”
Zarveth tilted his head in confusion.
“Well, I am not exactly a Transcendent, but it would be difficult to explain everything to someone like you. You won’t understand.”
Nux shook his head.
“I… won’t understand…?”
Zarveth questioned, almost as if he couldn’t even comprehend the notion of not being able to understand something.
And how could he?
Zarveth was a being who had chased knowledge for billions and billions of years, he was already at his peak before most beings in the Universe were even born.
And…
To think someone was now coming to him, telling him that he won’t understand. It was a completely ridiculous notion.
But what’s worse was that Zarveth could tell that the Anomaly wasn’t lying or trying to rile him up.
This man…
He was telling the truth.
Or at least he believed he was telling the truth.
He truly believed that one of the wisest Eternals of the Supreme World of Eternity, someone who knew almost everything there was to know about the Universe, wouldn’t understand his answer.
It…
It offended Zarveth.
“Try explaining to me, I might surprise you.”
He spoke.
It wasn’t a challenge or an order.
It was…
It was a request.
Zarveth truly wanted to know, not just because he was curious or that he craved knowledge, he wanted to prove it to the man who doubted him.
For a reason he couldn’t explain, he felt a strange impulse to prove himself to the man in front of him.
But Nux…
“Meh, it doesn’t really matter.”
He shook his head and shrugged carelessly.
“What do you mean?”
Zarveth narrowed his eyes.
“It would be pointless to try and explain myself to someone who would be dying very quickly. It is a waste of effort.”
“What…?”
The Supreme Being of Eternity clenched his fists, but Nux just looked into his hollow eyes and—
“What? You hurt my crazy little thing, you didn’t think there would be no consequences, did you?”
His grin turned demonic, his golden eyes shining intensely, almost as if he was prepared to devour this man and end his existence right here and then.
For an instant, Zarveth stepped back.
Intimidation.
Intimidation he only felt when he was in the presence of an Infinity.
‘W-What…?’
For a moment, he froze, unable to comprehend what was happening to him, but before he could get lost in his thoughts, his instincts called out to him, alarming him, telling him to do something or else…
“Aren’t you hurting her as well…?”
Zarveth questioned, staring at how the Anomaly was still holding the woman by her neck while she tried to free herself from his hold and attack him. Not once did the woman look or assess the surroundings that had completely changed.
She only cared about freeing herself and attacking this arrogant man in front of her and proving her strength.
“I can do that.”
Nux answered directly.
“You cannot.”
“That is unreasonable.”
Zarveth spoke directly.
“I do not have to be reasonable.
Do you know why?”
Nux grinned.
“Because you believe you are strong.”
Zarveth answered.
“Incorrect.”
Nux shook his head.
“I do not believe I am strong.
I am strong.”
Nux declared, staring at Zarveth in absolute disdain,
“Much stronger than a being who relies on toys to battle.”
“Toys, huh?
Allow me to show you how strong these toys are.
As I thought before, forcefully extracting all the answers I need is indeed the best way to deal with the likes of you.”
Zarveth spoke arrogantly as the Relics behind him shined. Two of his strongest relics—the Cube of Silence and the Blade of Rewriting—were already destroyed.
But that did not matter.
Not right now. For now, he needed to focus on what he had. He glanced at his remaining four Relics,
The Mirror of Future Victory,
The Lantern of Infinite Paths,
The Chronos Key,
And the Crest of Eternity, the core relic bound to the very concept of Time.
These relics were priceless. They could easily be called a few of the strongest Relics throughout the Universe, but here… they trembled.
He felt like his connection to them in this place was weakening as time passed. Therefore, Zarveth acted quickly.
Light burst from his side—geometric patterns, time loops, and endless futures folding upon one another.
“Let’s end this.”
He declared as he made the first move.
His body blurred forward, Chronos Key flaring at his side. The Space around him bent, Time split, and before anyone could react to it, he aimed for Nux’s neck, a blade condensed in his hand, ready to sever Nux’s head.
Well, at least that was what Zarveth thought would have happened, considering he had used the power of both Space and Time here, making it almost impossible to react to his move. And seeing as how Nux couldn’t even follow his movement and react to it, that did seem to be the case but—
Just as his blade was about to touch Nux’s neck, he raised it with his left hand and caught the blade with two fingers.
Then—
Crack
The weapon cracked.
“Impossible—”
Zarveth’s eyes widened.
But this was only the beginning.
Shatter
Nux closed his fingers and the blade shattered like glass.
Zarveth jumped back and instantly activated the Lantern of Infinite Paths. The relic floated above him and displayed all possible moves—defense, offense, retreat, misdirection.
He picked the best one.
The safest one.
But still—
Nux was there first.
As if he too had seen all the possibilities and knew what Zarveth was going to choose.
Touch
With a casual, almost effortless movement, Nux gently placed his palm on Zarveth’s chest, and—
BOOOOOOOOOM
The impact felt like an entire planet had fallen on Zarveth’s body, crushing his body as he flew back like a meteor, smashing layers of asteroids that weren’t there before.
“OI!! FIGHT ME TOO!!”
And during all this movement, never once did Nux let Sharnoth go. Yes, he was holding her by her neck even now, and the Heir of Chaos was absolutely helpless about it. No matter what she did, no matter how many times she tried to attack him with Chaos Energy, it simply didn’t do anything to him.
“Hmm? You are even weaker than him. What’s fun about fighting you?”
Nux just shrugged. He even wiggled Sharnoth’s body as if she were a ragdoll, showing her how truly helpless she was.
“I AM NOT WEAKER THAN HIM!!!”
Sharnoth screamed.
“Suuurrreeee. I believe you.”
Nux replied sarcastically.
