Chapter 2109 What have you done…?
Chapter 2109 What have you done…?
“Tsk tsk, I can’t believe you were defeated by this toy.”
Nux spoke, showing what was left of the crushed Infinity Relic in his hand as he dramatically shook his head in disappointment.
“You disappoint me, Sharnoth Nocthys.”
He sighed, and Sharnoth…
She just couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Her connection with the Energy of Chaos was restored; however, this did her more harm than good.
Sharnoth had the Body of Chaos. It was incomplete, sure, but her very being represented Chaos. However, the Dark Spell she used was connected to the Power of Darkness—an Energy different from Chaos.
She could use it when her connection with Chaos was cut off; however, now that that connection was restored, the Energy of Chaos and the lingering Energy of Darkness clashed against each other inside her body.
And the result?
‘AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!’
Sharnoth screamed in agony as the two energies crushed her insides. What’s worse was that this pain was never-ending. Her body was made of Chaos—more Chaotic Energy around her, the quicker she would regenerate—so her insides were being regenerated, then destroyed, then regenerated only to be destroyed again and again and again.
The pain was agonizing, something that could make any being lose his or her mind.
But…
Not Sharnoth.
She had long lost her mind before all this pain. Rather, once she got used to the pain, she glanced at Nux, her crimson eyes shining with powerful excitement and—
‘How did you do that?’
She questioned, staring at the pieces of Infinity Relic in his hands.
“What do you mean how? It is because I am obviously stronger than you.”
Nux snorted in disdain.
‘You think you are stronger than me???’
Sharnoth questioned back, her crimson eyes now shining even more brightly. It was almost threatening. Any sane person would feel goosebumps if he ever saw that expression, but Nux?
He just grinned.
“Think? I know I am stronger than you.”
He then looked at Sharnoth’s detached limbs and—
“You can’t even heal, move, or speak because you are bound by some toy.”
He sighed, looking for the toy that did all this to his Sharnoth, and soon, his eyes fell on a silver-colored cube and—
He extended his hand towards it, almost as if trying to call it towards him.
A sight that both horrified and humiliated Zarveth.
The Cube of Silence was floating right behind him, but this man… he didn’t even look at him while he conversed leisurely with that woman!
Does he think that he doesn’t exist!?
Zarveth’s hollow eyes flared with anger when he felt a certain force moving the Cube towards the Anomaly. He quickly regained control over his Cube, putting it behind him again and then glared at the Anomaly.
“You think I will let yo—”
Shatter
Before the Eternity Eternal could even say anything, he heard a voice. A voice that horrified him came from behind.
He slowly turned around and saw the Anomaly standing behind him. In his hand was… another Infinity Relic… completely shattered.
Zarveth’s entire body froze when he sensed his connection with the Cube of Silence being erased as well.
“How!? You were just there—”
He quickly turned around again, looking at where the Anomaly was once standing, and there, his eyes fell on the Anomaly, still with his hand extended forward, as if calling the cube.
When the Anomaly’s eyes fell on him, he turned towards that woman and—
“Now I am even more disappointed in you, Sharnoth Nocthys. To think you lost against someone who can’t even differentiate between an illusion and reality.
Tsk tsk tsk.”
He snorted as suddenly, his body began to flicker out of existence, as if its purpose was solved, and behind Sharnoth, another Anomaly appeared. In his hands were the remains of the Cube of Silence that he had just destroyed.
“H-How—”
Zarveth couldn’t believe it. He looked back, trying to find the Anomaly that was just standing behind him, but he couldn’t see him.
The Anomaly had teleported!
In the space where Space Laws don’t even exist, that monster teleported!
How!?
HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN!?
He didn’t even sense the Power of Space being used!?
What was happening!?
Why was nothing making any sense!?
What’s more…
“HE WAS STRONGER WHEN HE WAS FIGHTING ME!!”
The woman shouted, her maddened eyes glaring at Zarveth in anger she didn’t show before.
“OI!! FIGHT HIM PROPERLY!
WHAT ARE YOU ACTING LIKE A FOOL FOR!?”
She shouted. It almost seemed like she was the angry coach of a defeated athlete who wasn’t giving his best.
And Nux…
“Just admit it, Sharnoth, all of these are just excuses. You lost to someone so pathati—”
He tried to tease further, but suddenly—
“I DIDN’T LOSE TO HIM!!
HE BECAME WEAKER!!”
Sharnoth shouted as she jumped onto Nux before even recovering.
Yes, the unpredictable woman was now attacking Nux.
Zarveth stared at this odd situation with a stupefied look on his face.
The Eternity Eternal had no clue what was happening.
Weren’t these two allies?
Then why was that woman attacking the Anomaly?
As someone who had faced the woman before, he could also tell she wasn’t holding back at all. If anything, she was overexerting herself, trying to hurt the Anomaly. The Partial Domain that was destroyed before had started reforming as well.
Of course, as much as everything happening surprised him, Zarveth didn’t miss this odd chance he had received. With the Anomaly busy with that crazy woman who had started attacking him out of nowhere, Zarveth could now do anything he wanted.
He could escape, come up with a plan to deal with this situation, call for reinforcements, or…
He could even prepare an attack large enough to take both of them down.
Yes, the situation had completely turned in his favor because of Sharnoth’s unpredictable movements.
This was also the reason Zylarith made Sharnoth suppress her nature. There was no way someone as unstable as her, no matter how strong, would have been able to run an entire World. Zylarith needed her to calm down and think logically in order to fulfill his goals.
As for Nux…
To him, it didn’t matter.
Rather, he was the opposite. The crazier the woman, the more it attracted him. Even now, as Sharnoth unleashed the series of her attacks on him, he faced everything with a big smile on his face.
A smile that matched the smile on Sharnoth’s face.
It almost seemed like two twins were fighting each other.
But of course, unlike Sharnoth, he didn’t get completely lost in the situation. Rather, he suddenly appeared in front of Sharnoth, who was in the middle of unleashing another series of attacks, and grabbed her by her neck, lifting her in the air.
“Unhand me!!”
Sharnoth shouted, constantly moving her arms and legs to try and free herself from Nux, but…
In front of his physical might, there was only so much she could do.
“We will play later, I have something to do.”
He spoke.
Obviously, Sharnoth didn’t stop and continued attacking him, and Nux just shrugged. With a crazy woman constantly attacking him with her little limbs, he finally turned towards Zarveth and—
“You and Neremoth—who amongst you is stronger?”
He asked a question.
“What did you do to him?”
Zarveth narrowed his eyes, still secretly creating an attack combination as he questioned back. He no longer underestimated his opponent, coming up with the strongest possible attack combination in order to capture the Anomaly alive.
Nux just sighed. He could tell that Zarveth was trying to buy time, but…
With the maddened beauty now getting impatient, he didn’t exactly have the luxury to wait.
“Whatever, not that it matters.”
He shrugged as suddenly,
“I suppose I should try it.”
He slowly extended his free hand outward. A faint ripple formed around his palm. It started small, almost invisible, but quickly expanded, forming a visible sphere of distortion around him.
Zarveth narrowed his eyes.
His instincts started warning him, telling him to escape,
But it was already too late.
Suddenly, the ripple exploded outward.
It spread rapidly in every direction. In seconds, the familiar backdrop of stars, distant planets, and the endless darkness of the Main Universe vanished, replaced by something entirely different.
It was still space, still endless and infinite—but different in a fundamental way.
The distant galaxies, the nebulae, and even the flow of cosmic energy were unlike anything Zarveth had ever sensed.
The stars that appeared were brighter and sharper, shining brilliantly with colors that didn’t exist in the Main Universe—rich purples, intense blues, vivid reds. Nebulae glowed vibrantly, their forms shifting gently as though alive, dancing in slow motion.
Zarveth watched carefully as reality itself changed around him. Even the laws governing this space felt completely foreign.
He tried to spread his own senses, trying to connect to the place around him and understand where exactly he was, but…
He soon realized that he did not recognize this place, which in itself was odd because he knew every single place in the Universe.
It almost felt like…
He was no longer inside the Universe…
“What have you done…?”
He questioned, narrowing his eyes as he felt like his senses were playing with him.
“Nothing, I just created my Domain.
After all, I broke through and became a Transcendent now.”
