Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 596 Sleeping Garden

If Nathan looked at the front of the mansion, he would see Revon and Neyeid approaching their respective opponents.

There were at least three people at the master level. If it was Nathan alone, he wouldn’t be able to kill them easily.

However, it was different for Neyeid and Revon.

“Attack them!” The summoners commanded them, but the familiars couldn’t do anything.

When they approached Neyeid, the latter raised his two curved blades and cut them at a much faster speed than their eyes could see.

“!!!” The summoner widened his eyes in shock, not expecting that his familiars, who were supposed to be strong, wouldn’t be enough to stop him even for a second.

“You!” The summoner roared, trying to stop him, but it was futile. Neyeid passed him so easily, leaving behind several slashes.

Each strike was so swift that the summoner’s body took a bit more time to register the damage. The summoner could still turn his body around, but that momentum ended up shredding the last bit of his flesh before they splattered on the ground.

The one fighting Revon was even more pitiful. When his familiars stopped Revon, the latter simply rushed past them as though they were not even there.

Their summoner hurriedly formed a barrier to block Revon, but the latter actually punched the barrier and shattered it like it was glass. His fist continued onward and hit the guy in the head.

That force was too much for the head to bear, which caused his head to snap.

In just an instant, both Neyeid and Revon actually killed a person whose strength was similar to Nathan before receiving the reward from the minister.

Even Nathan didn’t expect the difference in their strength was this big. Now that he thought about it, Revon was eager to fight some warrior class aliens. It was as if they were something he wanted to hunt, just to have some fun.

So, this was the second strongest fighter in the Sleeping Garden, Nathan thought.

Both of them hurriedly headed to the last summoner, where they both said at the same time, “He’s mine!”

The guy already looked hopeless, especially after seeing how easily his comrades were taken out.

All of a sudden, a middle-aged man alongside several familiars emerged from the mansion, ambushing Revon.

They moved at the same speed as Revon, so the latter tried to coat his entire body with his ena.

The summoner and one familiar attacked him head-on, stopping Revon from blocking other familiars’ attacks.

Even though he was going to get injured, Revon simply smiled. He took on their attack head-on. Yet even with two blades hitting his neck, a punch hitting his side, and a stinger striking his chest, only the stinger managed to injure him. And that was just a single small hole.

“Hahaha. That’s great! Why don’t we have some fun?” Revon grabbed one familiar’s head and slammed it to the ground, creating a massive crater.

At the same time, sand appeared out of nowhere and spun around the area like a sand tornado, causing the summoner and his familiars to cover their eyes.

“Kh.” The summoner released his ena to dispel the sandstorm, but he immediately noticed the incoming punch coming from the side. “Don’t underestimate me.”

Several layers of barriers appeared on his side, slowing down the punch severely. However, Revon’s punch managed to break through all the layers in rapid succession before a palm caught the punch.

“!!!” The summoner panicked when two of his fingers broke just by receiving a single punch, but it was even more shocking when his wrist actually snapped.

In addition, when the familiars wanted to help, one of them abruptly stopped as his feet started sinking into what he thought to be the ground. When the familiar looked down, he realized the ground had turned into a living sand, swallowing him alive.

The familiar wanted to stop Neyeid, who came from behind, but the latter skillfully slipped past him and severed his arm.

Other familiars had no other choice but to split themselves into two groups, trying to stop Revon and Neyeid at the same time.

The one who was shocked the most was actually Nathan. “They’re that strong? Aren’t their opponents supposed to be the enemy’s leader?”

“Yeah. Neyeid is a great swordsman. He might be lacking in power, but his technique is lethal.

“Meanwhile, Revon’s identity is a bit special. He was a former mercenary, so that was why he didn’t mind fighting other mercenaries. He knew how they would behave.” Evelyn nodded.

Nathan frowned while Evelyn continued. “You might not be able to see it from here, but Sonia is doing something good as well.”

Inside the mansion, there was a man who frantically rushed to an office. When he opened the door, he saw the crystal they used to talk to each other.

Without hesitation, he came to the crystal before pouring his ena. “H—”

Just as he was about to say something, a shadow emerged from behind and pierced through his throat.

“!!!” The man widened his eyes in shock, not realizing there was a person in this room. However, even when he used the last bit of energy in his body to shift his gaze back, the person had disappeared once again, finding a new prey.

The moment the man collapsed, another person rushed into the room.

“What? Someone died here? No. This is not the time. I have to inform them quickly!” The man was trying to reach the crystal on the table.

“You can’t.” Unfortunately for him, the shadow emerged once again, this time bringing her dagger.

“You… When…” The guy wanted to know the truth, but Sonia simply slit his throat, killing him. She then turned around, noticing some people trying to escape from the back.

Without hesitation, she rushed into the wall that somehow formed a small black circle on its surface, allowing Sonia to dive into the wall and reappear on the back of the building to kill some more people.

“Clear… I need to return and secure their communication.” She muttered before disappearing into the shadow once more.
