Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 593 Not Ideal (Bonus)

Nathan thought of something, but he needed to hear more details before making a decision.

“If that’s the case, can you tell me about noteworthy individuals the bases had?”

“Hmm…” Bella raised one finger. “For most bases, you only need to worry about a single grandmaster level summoner… more or less. In the main information network, they’re normally guarded by several of them, so we have to be careful. Fortunately, there is no arcane level summoner we need to worry about, so it’s manageable.

“However, in their headquarters in Rigan City, there is at least one arcane level summoner, which is their current boss. There should be a few grandmaster level summoners as well, so you have to be careful when fighting them.”

“How about the cities they reside in?”

“There are various cities. If it’s in the four kingdoms, we have no choice but to hit and run, leaving behind all the mess. Still, we’ll do our best so that the common people aren’t harmed in the process and reduce as much collateral damage as possible.

“As for the neutral zone, there is no law binding those places, so they’re usually handled by joint organizations or just a simple tyrant.

“In the city where their main information network is, there is only one tyrant we need to worry about, which will be handled by Evelyn. Meanwhile, the rest will deal with the Black Cat Organization as quickly as possible before withdrawing.

“Since they’re not under the kingdom’s rule, they don’t really have a workable teleportation circle.

“Last but not least, Rigan City is filled with tyrants. In that city, there are four top organizations: Black Cat, Blue Wolf Gang, Saber Mercenary Group, and Red Fox Gang. Each of them is led by a single arcane level summoner, which is the main reason why the kingdoms don’t really want to send their forces to subjugate them. They’ll simply lose too much in the process.

“Anyway, the main plan is to have Evelyn handle those summoners from the three other influences while we take down the Black Cat.”

“Hmm?” Nathan crossed his arms. “Why would they help the Black Cat? Aren’t they supposed to be competing with each other?”

“That’s true, but it’s a bit more complicated than that. If you look closely at the city, you will realize that these four organizations are doing their best to actually keep each other in check.

“In other words, they don’t really want to disrupt the balance between them. The Black Cat is taking care of the south. If they’re gone, the three will definitely fight for that position, and they’ll lose a lot of people in the process.

“To avoid suffering such a loss, they are willing to help each other and stop anyone that is trying to destroy a single organization.”

Nathan closed his eyes. He got a good grasp of the situation with this information.

“I see. So, we have to take care of those people while dealing with the Black Cat?”

“Yes. Evelyn can stop them while Revon takes care of their leader. If necessary, we’ll also help him from a distance.”

“That’s understandable.” Nathan pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Is there something wrong with our plan?”

“Not really. If we follow this plan, we might succeed. However, I don’t really like this plan because it has one fatal flaw.”

“One fatal flaw?” Bella frowned. Your journey continues at My Virtual Library Empire

“What do you mean?” Evelyn narrowed her eyes, wondering if they had missed anything.

“It will expose the captain’s existence. Suppose we’re following this plan. It means that the captain has to fight those three, right? Are you going to kill them?”

Evelyn nodded. “If necessary. If not, I don’t personally care. We’re not the heroes of justice anyway.”

“Yeah. That’s the problem. Can you kill an arcane level summoner in an instant?”

“No. While it’s true that I’m a world class summoner, the number of familiars determines the situation as well. Just like how we are able to overpower an alien with a higher rank with our number, I will have some trouble dealing with them. Hence, I do need to use a certain amount of power to handle them.”

“How about dealing with a single arcane level summoner?” Nathan asked.

Evelyn crossed her arms. “If it’s someone like Revon, I will probably have to release a bit more of my power. If it’s someone like Neyeid or Bella, I can end the battle in five minutes at most.”

Nathan nodded. “And that proves my point. Right now, it doesn’t seem that these three will die. In other words, they will definitely live to tell the tale about your power. Even if you only fight with either your space element or gravity, they will recognize it because those elements are not common.

“If the Divine Hand Organization knows about this, they might hide or prepare a trap.

“Hence, this plan might work, but it’s not really ideal. We’ll be at a big disadvantage when it comes to dealing with the Divine Hand Organization.”

“Then, I will kill them.” Evelyn frowned. “This way, no one will tell the tale.”

“No. Can you kill all the people inside the city? That’s the only way to keep them silent.”

Evelyn opened her mouth. She might have that ability, but she wondered what would happen if she missed a single one. At the same time, the world might try to subjugate her instead.

Although they were not the ally of justice, Evelyn knew that having to fight the four kingdoms while trying to have her revenge wasn’t an ideal situation.

They had prepared a mask to hide their identities, but it didn’t seem to be enough. At the same time, they couldn’t find any other ways to defeat the enemies while having to conserve their strength.

And that was when Nathan came into the equation.

Nathan stood up and stated, “If you follow my plan, I can guarantee that not only will the plan succeed, we’ll also have a better chance of dealing with the Divine Hand in a few months. Besides, it might even lower their guards to a certain extent.”
