Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1317: Progress

Chapter 1317: Progress

*Knock!*

“Who is it?” Nathan opened his eyes.

“Sir Nathan. The commander would like to see you.”

“Give me a moment. I know the room, so I will head there by myself.”

“Understood.” The soldier acknowledged it and walked away.

Nathan, on the other hand, exhaled deeply before writing down the memo.

“It looks like you have grown a lot, Master.” Mae, who had been watching him the whole time, stood up, ready to leave.

Fenrir was sleeping on the floor and only woke up after hearing his voice. “All of us have grown a lot.”

“Yeah.” Nathan smiled.

His note contained information about him and his familiars.

Nathan (5m), Fenrir (4m), Anubis (3m), Nidhogg (4m), Jinwu (4m), Kun (3m), Mae (2m), Qilin (2m), Orochi (4m), Xolotl (4m).

This was Nathan’s current progress. After absorbing all the cores, he had managed to advance this far.

It was indeed a fulfilling three months. After all, he got about 21 million ena from various sources. In fact, the people didn’t know that he had killed eight elite class aliens in the past three months.

Along with the rest of the aliens, he got this much ena, which was distributed to his familiars accordingly.

“Still, the progress is much faster than any trip in the past.” Fenrir nodded, satisfied. “It’s been 5 months since we reached this place. If we continue at this pace, we won’t have a problem becoming a world class summoner by the time we return.”

“You know that it’s not possible, right? We need to focus on the Death Society as well.” Mae squinted her eyes.

“I know that, but if we just focus on him and maybe a few familiars, that should be enough to become a world class summoner, right?”

“That is true. That depends on who those few familiars are.” Mae nodded. “This is thanks to the manual.”

Nathan nodded. “When I was weak, my absorption rate was horrible. But as I grow stronger, the absorption rate continues to increase. With the addition of the manual, my absorption rate is equal to Sera’s and the others’.

“That’s why the progress is fast. Besides, you guys are stronger than your average familiar. Anubis is also playing a huge role in our speed because without him, we will be too injured to go on.”

“That’s true. Considering Anubis heals you with his divinity, it’s understandable why his healing ability is powerful.” Mae nodded in agreement.

“Either way, we can continue advancing like this. Within 7 months, it should be possible for you to reach 10 million ena together with two or three familiars.” Fenrir harrumphed. He didn’t say it, but his eyes were practically saying that he would be one of them.

“Well, it doesn’t matter right now. I’m already satisfied with the improvement in my abilities.” Nathan smiled.

Fenrir and Mae couldn’t deny that Nathan had gradually become a very powerful human. His control of the time element and the space element had increased drastically. His domain had stabilized.

When he returned, they might consider suggesting he make his rules for his divinity.

The biggest growth in the past three months was not his ena, but his abilities. They doubted anyone who was still at the crystal armor stage would be capable of defeating Nathan.

Nathan possessed two elements and the number of his familiars was higher than normal people, who usually cultivated 6 to 7 familiars.

If the opponent were stronger, Nathan’s two elements would make him a tricky opponent. In addition, his familiars could defeat the other party’s familiars by combining their strength.

Once one familiar died, the enemy would soon collapse.

Nathan nodded in understanding. “Either way, we have finished our matters here. We will return for a bit to get some rest and monitor the situation. Besides, looking at how the commander is trying to make me stay here…”

Mae squinted her eyes. “We have already known that some people unrelated to the second prince are looking for us. We don’t know their identities, but their ranking should be very high.

“Whoever it is… the commander is trying to set up a meeting.” Mae didn’t know whether this person was an enemy or not, so she couldn’t be careless.

“I will be in the weapon form so that you can escape at any time.” Fenrir agreed and turned into a pistol.

“Well, we will just see whether that person is an enemy or not. They are pretty persistent, so it’s fine to see that person.” Nathan waved his hand and exited the room.

Nathan had been preparing himself to go against the second prince. He believed that the second prince would send out high-level assassins to him. He wasn’t worried about poison because Anubis could heal him at any time.

Hence, Nathan chose to recall Fenrir and summoned Anubis instead.

He planned to defeat the assassins, which would serve as a reminder to the second prince that killing him wouldn’t be easy. The only way to do it was by sending the Death Society.

If he sent his own men to kill him, it would be traced back to him, and the emperor might get angry. After all, Nathan had done a lot of things for the empire.

To his surprise, the moment Nathan opened the door to the commander’s office, he noticed a graceful lady.

She dressed similarly to Evelyn when he first met her, but for some reason, this one was much more seductive. The military uniform was quite tight, which reflected her curves.

She tied her hair into a ponytail, which showed that she was ready for combat but, at the same time, maintained enough elegance to befit a noble lady.

But what confused him the most was her skirt. It was short. She even crossed her legs upon his arrival as if trying to grab his attention.

Nathan didn’t know that this was Regina. She had been ordered by the emperor to pull him into the royal family. More importantly, the emperor had been sending experts to teach her how to seduce men.

But at this point, Nathan didn’t know what she was planning.
