Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1313: Terrifying Monster

Chapter 1313: Terrifying Monster

“Mhmm…” Nathan let out a groan as he gradually opened his eyes.

When he came to, he noticed Evelyn sitting on the side of the bed, looking at him with a worried face. “Are you alright? How are you feeling?”

“Kh…” Nathan still felt the headache, but more importantly, the image of Yog-Sothoth had been ingrained in his mind. “Help me get up.”

Nathan was struggling to get up. Now that he could take another look at the room, he realized none of his familiars were here. “Where are the others?”

“They have returned.”

“I see. How long was I out?”

“You were out for a whole day.”

“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes, thinking, ’Has she been looking after me the whole time?’

“Are you alright? What happened to you?” Evelyn asked.

“Yeah. I think I’m fine right now. Did Anubis say anything?”

“No. There were no abnormalities in your body.”

“That’s good then.” Nathan let out a deep breath before summoning his familiars again.

“You have woken up?!” Fenrir raised his eyebrows.

“What happened to you, Master?” Mae looked at him, concerned.

The others didn’t say anything, but they knew something had gone wrong.

Nathan took a few breaths first before asking, “Mae, you can draw an illusion based on my memory, right?”

“Yes.” Mae nodded. “It will be more accurate if you picture it in your mind.”

“In that case, draw out my memory from earlier. All of you better watch it yourself…” Nathan suddenly turned to Evelyn, a bit worried.

“What’s wrong? Why are you looking at me?”

“This might be too much for you.”

“Too much for me?” Evelyn frowned. She is a world class summoner. She could handle everything that came her way. “Don’t underestimate me.”

“What did you actually experience, Master?” Mae’s expression turned solemn. “I don’t know if you notice it or not, but you have been trembling the whole time.”

“Really?” Nathan raised his hand and noticed the trembling. He had been talking just fine, so he didn’t think the sight would make this much of an impact.

But it seemed the sight of Yog-Sothoth was still too much for him to handle.

“Please.” Evelyn had a solemn face, showing her resolve. She wanted to know and had prepared herself to know this.

Nathan could only sigh. “I saw Yog-Sothoth.”

“!!!” Fenrir and the others were surprised, while Xolotl looked excited. “Hoh…”

“Mae.” Nathan nodded.

“Understood. Don’t resist, everyone.” Mae finally agreed. She opened her bamboo fan and waved it, spreading smoke.

When they blinked their eyes, the scenery changed. It was the same scenery that Nathan had seen before.

The imposing presence was so scary that Nathan passed out and remained trembling.

The pressure he could feel from Yog-Sothoth was unlike anything he had experienced before. He finally realized how insignificant he was.

At the same time, his heart was beating rapidly as if he was getting excited in one way or another.

This was an alien known as the Outer Gods.

“This is…” Fenrir gnashed his teeth, glaring at Yog-Sothoth.

Anubis and the others were releasing their own divinity as if they were trying to fight.

Only Xolotl seemed to have endured this presence. No, it looked like he was grinning as if he were getting excited.

Nathan turned around, making sure that the original Nathan and Chronos weren’t here. He had given some secret instructions earlier, since he hadn’t prepared to tell the truth about it to Evelyn.

His gaze ended up stopping at Evelyn, who remained silent the whole time. She didn’t show much emotion.

“Mae. This is enough!” Nathan shouted.

“!!!” Mae hurriedly closed her bamboo fan, erasing the illusion at the same time as the snapping sound.

“So, that was Yog-Sothoth!” Fenrir grinned.

“…” Evelyn glanced to the side but remained silent.

“That guy is definitely amazing.” Xolotl nodded in approval. “He might be even stronger than I was at my peak. Those outer gods are definitely not something we can underestimate.”

“Can you give us the comparison?” Jinwu asked. “It might be good to know the gap between us to know how far we have to improve.”

Xolotl thought for a moment before pointing at Fenrir and the others. “All of you should have no problem destroying this world or even traveling to other planets in this solar system.

“However, for gods and goddesses of my level, our scale is this universe, not just a solar system.

“These guys… are the same, but on a higher level. Some outer gods might not be that strong, but that one is definitely one of the strongest.”

“Oohh!” Fenrir and the others exchanged looks. They recalled their strength at its peak and finally understood the gap between them. But this also meant they could become much stronger.

“In any case, Yog-Sothoth might descend into this world.” Nathan waved his hand, warning them.

Evelyn, who had been silent this whole time, finally opened her mouth. “That kind of terrifying being will descend into this world? Are you sure? Won’t the humans…”

“…get destroyed? Yes.” Nathan nodded. “But from the looks of it, he still has a part of his consciousness, which has been preventing him from ascending to this world.”

“That might be possible. When you have reached that level, your consciousness is extremely strong. Even I won’t be taken over for millennia.” Xolotl agreed.

“Yog-Sothoth is a master of space and time. He can see everything within this space and time, so nothing is secret to him.

“That’s why his descent is weird… at least, to me.”

“Weird?” Fenrir raised his eyebrows.

“Yes.” Nathan raised one finger. “According to the prophecy, there should be one more chance for the aliens, right? And that chance will appear 300 years from now.

“In that case, the world shouldn’t be destroyed. On the other hand, Yog-Sothoth should have been powerful enough to destroy the entire world.

“Since there is another opportunity, it means the world is not going to get destroyed. Of course, this is just one possibility. There are countless possibilities.

“Hence, I’m thinking about the reason for the third chance to remain viable. It is either we stop our journey here and be content with just defending or we take the fight to them!”

“!!!”
