Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1256: Mistake

Chapter 1256: Mistake

“Hiii!!” The succubus panicked and ran away, barely avoiding the bullets.

As expected, knowing that his sword strike didn’t work on Nathan, Lambert chose to rescue the succubus.

He couldn’t fight in the air after all, so there was no other choice.

But moving to the succubus meant leaving the ogre open.

Without missing a beat, the bullets that were on the way toward the succubus suddenly curved and headed straight to the ogre.

“No!” Lambert realized what was going on. From the very beginning, Nathan’s target had been the ogre.

When the succubus was in danger, he thought he was done with the ogre.

But it turned out he was still aiming for the ogre’s head.

From the beginning, Nathan had figured out how to fight Lambert. He called himself Lust Demon.

It could be said that his priority was lust or, in this case, the succubus. If Nathan attacked the succubus, Lambert would stop him.

Hence, the succubus had never been his priority.

The ogre raised his arm to block the bullets, but it was useless. Lambert also tried to recall the ogre, but he wasn’t fast enough. The bullets blasted through the arm and destroyed its body and head, ultimately killing the ogre.

“Haaaa!” Lambert roared, his anger reaching its peak.

He was supposed to be the one having the upper hand. He had a numerical advantage, yet for some reason, Nathan was able to be the first one to kill his familiar.

If he took a look around, he would find the same thing happening all around the battlefield.

Kun and Peng kept switching to control the entire battlefield, letting the lower-level summoners focus on them. Due to his size, Kun could crush them simply by dropping from the sky.

So, it was hard to stop Kun. After all, Anubis would be there to heal him even if they managed to wound him.

Jinwu had gone all out. Even though he was fighting against an opponent of the same level as well as multiple familiars, Jinwu utilized his domain correctly.

Anubis used his Synchronization not only on Nathan but also on Jinwu. Besides, Anubis was one of the three familiars that had unlocked the next level of his divinity.

Their power was suppressed by the scale of justice, allowing Jinwu to fight them alone.

On the other side, Orochi was rampaging. His legend definitely did him justice. Even though he was outnumbered, just looking at the number of his heads, it would look like Orochi was the one having the numerical advantage.

No matter how hard they attacked Orochi, they didn’t manage to stop him. In addition, Qilin was there to stop all important attacks, allowing Orochi to focus on attacking.

But what was even more amazing were Fenrir and Nidhogg.

Now that Nidhogg could utilize his divinity freely, his fire soared to a new height. It disintegrated everything in its way, which made it even easier for the heat to burn it.

With his current size, the raw physical strength in his body was something that couldn’t be underestimated either.

With the combination of physical strength and chaos fire, Nidhogg was practically unstoppable.

On the other battlefield, Fenrir took the battle to a different level.

He was someone who didn’t mind getting injured despite possessing a powerful defense. As a result, he ignored a lot of their attacks so that he could injure his opponent.

Besides, the next level of his divinity allowed him to crush everything, including elements. In other words, the opponent’s power was practically ineffective against him.

The demon tried to burn him, but the fire ended up getting swallowed by Fenrir. The cyclops had a hard time matching Fenrir’s strength.

In just a few minutes, Fenrir actually ripped the cyclops’ left arm. The demon was covered in wounds after getting blasted multiple times.

But the most horrifying thing would be the battlefield.

Now that Nathan had reached this stage, the battlefield had grown larger and much more chaotic.

Many craters formed. Ground shattered and dried up depending on who fought there. It was as if a disaster had just hit the area, and this destruction would grow until they concluded their battles.

Although Nathan could just stall for time until his familiars, especially Nidhogg and Fenrir, finished their fights and helped him, Nathan wanted to finish this battle personally.

That was why he got rid of the ogre first.

Seeing how ineffective his power was, Lambert forced the succubus to take him into the sky.

The succubus had no other choice but to follow his orders. Unfortunately for him, this was a mistake.

The moment Lambert caught up with him, Nathan had gathered enough power to use the Spatial Collapse.

Even though Lambert could instantly send a powerful strike, his speed was basically limited to the succubus’s speed.

It gave Nathan a bit of time to gather his power.

The Spatial Collapse overpowered the sword strike and hit both Lambert and the succubus at the same time, blasting them away.

Because of Lambert, the succubus had a harder time stabilizing her body. Nathan took advantage of this opportunity and gathered his energy in his fist before teleporting right above Lambert.

Spatial Collapse.

“Gah!” Lambert felt like his body was being crushed by an invisible force.

The Spatial Collapse knocked both of them to the ground, and the residual power continued to pressure them as if the sky itself had fallen.

“Aaahhh!” Lambert roared and unleashed as much energy as possible to neutralize this power.

But the moment he chose to fly, he had already lost.

They had been together, so Nathan only had to target one of them instead of two.

Now that they were on the ground, Nathan dove with the Spatial Collapse in his fist.

Before he could unleash it, the succubus made one last attempt to take over Nathan’s mind.

Nathan could feel his body heating up as if he were turned on. He could even smell perfume.

Sadly, it wasn’t enough to capture Nathan’s mind.

“Lilith did it better.” Nathan muttered before sending forth his fist right on top of Lambert and the succubus.

Spatial Collapse.

The succubus was knocked out in an instant, while half of Lambert’s armor cracked before shattering like glass.

The Spatial Collapse caused even bigger destruction as the ground cracked all the way to other battlefields.
