“!!!” The staff was stunned. She originally thought Nathan was planning to leave after looking at their goods. Yet, when all hope was about to disappear, Nathan dropped a bomb.
In this economy, not a lot of people wanted to buy anything. Just getting one customer alone was hard, even with the money still circulating in this city.
Yet, there was Nathan, who was about to spend a lot of money.
“What’s wrong? Not going to pack it for me? If not, I will ask someone else.”
“No, no. Please wait for a moment!” She panicked and hurriedly rushed to the shelves.
Nathan glanced around, understanding why the staff panicked. Then again, Nathan intended to flaunt his wealth, not to bully the staff, but to bait the actual fish.
It looked like the words about him buying a lot of stuff instantly reached the manager’s ears.
In just thirty seconds, a middle-aged man rushed to him.
“Welcome, esteemed customer. I heard you are going to buy a few manuals and minerals.”
“Hoho, you probably need to fix your ears because I said all, not few.” Nathan lifted up his face as though he were looking down on him. To avoid unnecessary problems, he had no choice but to act mighty.
“It looks like I indeed have to fix my ears. Thank you for your advice. How about coming to my office while we wait for your item to be processed?”
Nathan crossed his arms before nodding his head. “Lead the way.”
“This way.”
Once they reached the office, Nathan asked, “So, do you sell cores as well? I have seen some cores in the first section, but I haven’t seen a single core in the second section.”
The fact that Nathan only chose the one in the better section meant Nathan was aiming for higher-level cores.
The manager’s eyes lit up. “Of course, we sell cores. I would like to ask what kind of cores you would like to purchase. We have a lot of cores, all the way to warrior class cores.”
“How many do you have?” Nathan asked. Now that he has entered this office, the manager shouldn’t be making a fuss with his purchase.
So, Nathan was definitely emptying their storages.
“Well, the price of low-level cores is increasing due to a certain rumor. However, since it only uses low-level cores, the price of the high-level cores hasn’t increased yet.”
“I see.” Nathan realized that they were hiding the high-level cores, thinking they would have a higher price later. But it shouldn’t.

“I’m planning to buy mature class cores and warrior class cores. How many of them do you have?”

The manager’s heart was shaken. “That will be… 84 million for the mature class cores and 75 million for the warrior class cores… No, I misspoke. It will be a total of 150 million Zel if you wish to buy it all.”

“Sir. I have finished the purchase.”
“Come in.”
The staff entered the room and brought a number on a piece of paper. The manager took a look at it before presenting it to Nathan.
“If we add the manuals and the minerals, it will be a total of 357 million. I will waive another 7 million from the transaction. So, everything will be for 350 million.”
Nathan nodded, satisfied. If he were on Gratzel, purchasing all this might at least cost three times that number. He wondered what kind of place the blacksmith, like Elder Thompson, would have after he saw all his purchases. And he wasn’t done with it.
Once he regrouped with Neyeid, he would ask him to spend his money on more minerals. The reason he asked Neyeid to get a trusted blacksmith was so that he could make more space bracelets to store all the minerals.
“That sounds good enough. Also, I have heard that you are about to hold an auction…” Nathan finally mentioned it again.
“Of course.” The manager’s face became even brighter. Originally, he didn’t expect much from this auction. Even though there were nobles, they wouldn’t waste so much money in this situation.
