The journey was actually safer than the trip to the North Pole. For some reason, there were no high-level aliens coming their way even though they faced two elite class aliens on their way to the North Pole.

Meanwhile, Nathan holed himself up in his room whenever he had free time. Talking to Cthulhu had opened up a whole new world for him, so he was eager to explore it.

“Still, using the fragment itself to fuse with the summoner, huh?” Fenrir squinted his eyes. “Am I going inside you or something?”

“We don’t know yet.” Anubis shook his head. “However, I think this is something worth learning.”

“Well, after knowing that I’m just a fragment of my existence, it’s quite disappointing, but the situation itself is quite interesting, isn’t it?”

“What do you mean?” Anubis frowned.

“I’m talking about our existence becoming real.” Fenrir grinned. “Think about it. If we are just a fragment of existence, why are we still able to evolve?

“If we are just information stored in that fragment, why can we go farther than the stored information?”

“!!!” Anubis forgot about this. If they evolved, it meant they had surpassed the existence recorded in the database. What would happen then?

Their strength was real. They had to agree on that point. It was clear that their existence was in the realm between fragmented existence and real existence.

Anubis contemplated for a moment before muttering, “It looks like we can actually go beyond what we are.”

Nathan shook his head. “That is not the problem. I have to do it. That’s the only way for me to beat up that singularity.

“However, it doesn’t mean we’ll trust the aliens unconditionally. Even if we somehow defeat the singularity, there’s a chance for us to fight against the aliens as well.

“So, having many true gods on our side will allow us to contend with their outer gods.

“Regarding whether you are real or not, I have told Mae the same thing. You are already real to me. But if you still think you are not real, I will do my best to fulfill my duty as your summoner.”

“Summoner…” Jinwu felt moved. If this were another person, their words wouldn’t be so convincing. It might even be just their way of reassuring them.

However, this was Nathan. Nathan had always fulfilled his promise, even if it was something he had casually said.

To be able to promise such a grand thing as if it was a natural thing to do, Nathan was probably the only one who could do it.

Jinwu secretly thought that he might consider serving him as his master, like Mae or Kun.

“I’m talking about us. We are divine beasts. Even though their ways of summoning are different, they still summon humanoid familiars.
