Chapter 1094: Contracts

Chapter 1094: Contracts

[With the contract as the core, Nathan will pay 200,000 ena to alter the time of this plot of land with an area of 40×50 meters by 20 times of acceleration for fifty years.]

[With the contract as the core, Nathan will pay 300,000 ena to alter the time of this plot of land with an area of 3,000×2,500 meters by 5 times of acceleration for fifty years, excluding the one in the previous contract.]

[With the contract as the core, Nathan will pay 200,000 ena to alter the time of this plot of land with an area of 30×30 meters by 10 times of deceleration for fifty years. All three contracts can be renewed or cancelled at any time. Nathan will surrender the right to the remaining ena as compensation.]

Nathan carefully put the contract accordingly. To avoid any paradox, Nathan had to separate the acceleration and deceleration areas. For the time being, he put the acceleration with the world tree as the center. On the other hand, the deceleration area was located at the foot of the east mountain.

Then, he created five cards for each domain for everyone to use. Of course, he made sure to mark the domain according to the curtain that was only visible to his eyes.

Last but not least, he created three more contracts.

[With the contract as the core, Nathan will give 1,000,000 ena to the contract in order for the contract to become the medium of a magical vein. A magical vein functions as underground energy channels flowing through the soil and a source of vital energy (ena).]

[With the contract as the core and the Mana Storage Crystal as the medium, Nathan will transfer all the ena within the core as long as the amount of the ena within the medium exceeds 100,000.]

[With the contract as the core and the medium, Nathan will give 20,000 ena to the contract. In exchange, the contract will emit a faint glow whenever the amount of ena within the magical vein falls below 200,000 ena.]

Nathan finally finished all the contracts. Thanks to the test Evelyn took unknowingly, Nathan managed to create several new contracts with new conditions. The greatest one he had made was definitely the one with the Mana Storage Crystal as the medium.

Thanks to this contract, they could charge up the ena of the magical vein if necessary.

Two elite class cores, along with the remaining cores that Evelyn had gathered, exceeded 2,400,000 ena.

Nathan used only two elite class cores for all the contracts, and it even had some ena left, which would be used to charge the magical vein for a while. If necessary, Selena or other girls could use the device to absorb more ena from the remaining cores they left behind.

Hence, without Evelyn directly managing it, the field itself should be sustainable for a while. Selena could also gather some ena by themselves if necessary.

“This should be enough.” Nathan looked at the domains he had created with a proud smile. He had outdone himself this time.

He might be able to refine the contracts later in the future, but these contracts should function just fine for the time being.

“Do you want to add anything else?” Nathan asked.

Vivian shook her head. “Let my familiars do the rest for the field. You should spend the remaining time with those girls. After all, you’re going to be separated for quite some time.”

Nathan nodded. “Yes. Thank you.”

Vivian waved her hand as she walked away. “I’m going to work right away. We have only a few days left before the departure after all. Let’s meet again at that teleportation circle a few days later.”

“Got it.” Nathan turned to Evelyn. “How about the preparation for our ship?”

“Neyeid has poured in all sorts of food that can last for a long time. Thanks to your space bracelet, we should have no storage problems.

“So, everything is ready. We can set sail at any moment. We’ll wait until you’re ready before departing. Just send me a message.”

“Thank you.” Nathan nodded. He couldn’t help but wonder if he should perfect the space bracelet with a time-stop function. This way, no food would rot inside. However, he probably needed the magic circle for it as well, so he chose to wait until his time magic developed further.

In the end, the current space bracelet was enough. The water didn’t rot anyway, and additional food could be acquired on the way.

Hence, there should be no problem regarding their supply.

“Since we’re done here, we’ll return for now.” Bella waved her hand while hugging Evelyn’s arm and bringing her away.

Once they teleported back, Nathan turned to the girls and returned with them through the teleportation circle Evelyn had made previously.

Nathan spent the rest of his time with the girls, including Alavenya. He felt a bit guilty because it hadn’t been long since he had left them, and he had to leave again.

There were a lot of stories where their families crumbled because of the loneliness of being separated, such as wealthy children who were left at home by their parents all the time.

Sadly, this journey was necessary. Evelyn’s revenge was one thing, but his real goal was actually the alien.

Yes, Roggoth mentioned something about Cthulhu residing in the sea, so he planned to visit Cthulhu to figure out the alien’s situation. And he might have a chance of finding another alien on the new continent. So, it would be best for him to get there.

He was the only one in this world who knew a lot of things about the aliens. Hence, he had to be present.

One day before the departure.

Nathan couldn’t help but rise from his bed. A smile formed when he saw Selena, Sera, Flora, and Alavenya sleeping on the side. It wasn’t just them. Risa and Brunhild also joined them, but they had returned.

People would have been mad if they were to know Nathan used Anubis’ power for such a trivial thing as recovering his stamina. Still, they really had a wild few days.

Still, Nathan got a bit uneasy because Noelle was nowhere to be seen, which made him wake up.

Nathan couldn’t help but come outside, trying to stroll around the city to clear his mind. There was only one day left, so he wanted to talk to Noelle before his departure. Even Flora didn’t know her location.

So, Nathan wondered whether he should stay a bit longer until Noelle returned or not.

It might be due to his luck with women that the very person he was looking for was standing before him.

Noelle’s expression was something he had never seen before. It made him a bit uneasy, as though there was a hand clutching his heart directly.

“Noelle…”
