Chapter 630 Clusters
While understanding the Law of Body was almost a given for people in the Star Seeking, this was not that easy to accomplish for most Transcendents.
Many people failed to understand the True Law of Body.
About 50% of Transcendents never managed to learn it, while around 40% condensed the False Law of Body, which only required five Fragments.
Only 10% managed to comprehend the True Law of Body.
These 10% would be able to unlock the eighth Cluster, and after unlocking eight Clusters, one could become a True Crusher.
It was possible to become a Crusher after only unlocking seven Clusters, but one would become a False Crusher, and one’s path to power would end.
The ninth Cluster was in the Center, and it was the first Cluster that didn’t focus on the body.
In order to unlock that Cluster, one needed to have unlocked all the previous Clusters. On top of that, one also needed a valuable treasure associated with one of the Primal’s Affinities.
These treasures could be naturally occurring or artificial. As long as their Energy density was high enough, they would work.
However, the number of these treasures one needed to consume depended on one’s control over their body.
The Energy had to be guided in a specific way, and that was not easy.
Most people needed five of these treasures.
Some rare geniuses only needed one or two.
Some people never managed to unlock the Cluster, even after consuming over 20 of these treasures.
The tenth Cluster was inside the head, and its overpowering density hid the seventh Cluster behind it.
Unlocking the tenth Cluster needed the support of a Level Three Law.
95% of the people who successfully passed the Star Seeking became 10/13 Primals since they already got a fitting Law.
The 5% who failed didn’t fail on the tenth Cluster but on the ninth one. After all, while the Array of Stars was pretty rich, they would only give someone so many treasures.
Many of the Transcendents were amazing at comprehending Laws, but not all of them were skilled in controlling the flow of Energy inside their bodies.
For most normal Primals, understanding the Level Two Law of Body was already difficult enough.
Comprehending a Level Three Law was almost impossible for them.
If it were that easy, there wouldn’t be so many Lower and Higher Secondary Organizations.
The eleventh Cluster was between the eyes. This Cluster was outside the reach of the vast majority of Primals.
Most Seekers hadn’t even met an 11/13 Primal. One had to remember that only 60% of the people who had successfully passed the Star Seeking managed to become 11/13 Primals, and all of these people had been Unique Transcendents before.
The reasons why unlocking this Cluster was so hard were two things.
First, it took almost 500 years of effort.
Second, during the process of unlocking it, one would be in immense pain.
If it were only the time or the pain, most Unique Transcendents wouldn’t have an issue with it, but both of them at once was just too much.
Why go through so much pain for such a long period of time?
Would a Mortal go through torturous pain for 20 years just to become a millionaire?
At some point, someone would experience a moment of weakness. Everything just seemed like too much.
Yet, if one took a break, one would have to start from the beginning again.
Even more, the extreme pain made it difficult to comprehend any other Laws. The vast majority of people had to take a break from comprehending Laws for 500 years.
Was that really worth it for just an increase in the advancement bonus, which would vanish when they became Sages anyway?
As more time passed, Kyle’s blood became thicker, and his muscles became denser.
The first seven Clusters solidified and stopped absorbing Energy.
After they had solidified, the Cluster in Kyle’s heart absorbed more Energy.
It became brighter and brighter, and Kyle’s heart began to shake under the pressure.
Despite knowing the Law of Body, Kyle’s heart seemed on the verge of breaking, but he wasn’t worried.
As expected, his Core Spark moved closer to his heart.
All manner of concepts shot through Kyle’s mind as his Core Spark summoned the understanding of his Laws.
The Core Spark shone, and the next moment, the Cluster in Kyle’s heart shone as well.
Some seconds later, the Cluster in Kyle’s heart shone one last time before solidifying as well.
Kyle’s Core Spark traveled to the other three major Clusters and supported them as well.
About a minute later, Kyle had eleven solidified Clusters in his body.
‘Now, for the last one,’ Kyle thought as he watched his Core Spark.
His Core Spark returned to its usual position, and the next moment, Kyle’s body started to pull in a terrifying amount of Energy from the atmosphere around him.
Luckily, the Energy in the Supreme World was insanely dense.
More and more Energy gathered, and moments later, a bright spot appeared just outside his Core Spark. The twelfth Cluster was just beside the eighth and the ninth Clusters, creating a triangle.
This was the last Cluster.
There was no 13th Cluster, despite the Array of Stars talking about a potential 13/13 Primal.
The twelfth Cluster was the last.
Unlocking the twelfth Cluster was one of the easiest or hardest, depending on how one lived one’s life.
It just required two things to be unlocked.
First, the other eleven Clusters had to be unlocked.
Second, one needed a LOT of Momentum.
The reason why only around 20% of Unique Transcendents also became 12/13 Primals was not because the twelfth Cluster was so hard to unlock.
The reason was that they simply died while trying to increase their Momentum.
Additionally, many people didn’t even believe that it was worth it.
Was it worth it to risk one’s life in a True Battle two, three, or four times just to get a better advancement bonus?
Risking one’s life three times in the Primal Realm would improve one’s Momentum only about as much as risking one’s life one time in the Crusher Realm.
In general, talented people made their choice about how far they were willing to go when they had unlocked ten Clusters.
If they decided to unlock the eleventh Cluster, they might as well go for twelve. After all, the investment needed to unlock the eleventh Cluster was significant.
Most talented people either stopped at ten or tried to go all the way to twelve.
As for the 13th Cluster…
The vast majority of people didn’t even know that it existed.
Kyle had no idea where this 13th Cluster was or what he needed to do to unlock it.
However, as he thought about all the things he needed to unlock the first twelve Clusters…
‘You know, I think Law Comprehension might actually not be my strongest point,’ Kyle thought.
‘My areas of expertise were always increasing my Momentum and controlling my body.’
‘Becoming a Unique Transcendent felt so difficult. It felt almost impossible.’
‘And becoming a 12/13 Primal?’
‘The first eleven Clusters are easy.’
‘I can already unlock the eighth. I just need to unlock the other seven.’
‘Treasures for the ninth? I’m pretty sure my control is good enough, and since I will be treated as a Core Disciple, they will give me some of these treasures.’
‘I already got a Level Three Law for the tenth.’
‘500 years of pain? Bro, come on. I suffered from Sin Flames for a couple of centuries. I refuse to believe that this pain is worse.’
‘And Momentum? Dude, Momentum is my thing.’
‘The Primal Realm actually doesn’t seem that difficult.’
‘Becoming a Unique Transcendent seemed much harder.’
