Chapter 2514: Chapter 2514: Who Makes the Sick Joke?

At Tang Residence, they received a visit from a group of police officers. Grandpa Tang received them calmly. They did not do anything wrong. So, there was nothing to be feared.

"Officer, may I know why you are coming to my house?" Grandpa Tang asked.

"I received a phone call about something disturbing in your house. We need to investigate the matter." The police officer said.

"Something disturbing? Like what?" Grandpa Tang asked again.

"Human organs." The police officer stated.

Grandpa Tang frowned. Ming Yue and Su Xiao were shocked. Human organs? Who did that?

"We need to check the house. Every room. Every corner." The police officer said.

"Okay." Grandpa Tang nodded.

The police officers checked all of the rooms. Then, they heard a shout. They thought they had found something. The nearby police officers rushed to the location from which they heard the shout.

Grandpa Tang also came over.

"Why are you screaming? Do you find something?" The captain asked.

"Boss, I think I’ve found it." One of the police officers said. "It is here." He pointed at the room.

Everyone turned to look into the room. They thought they would find human organs as the report stated. However, they were shocked to see what was inside. It was not the human organs that they thought about.

It was something else. The room was full of glass jars that were full of yellow liquid. Inside the yellow liquid, there was something else.

"What is this?" The police officer was confused.

"They are medicinal wines, brewed by my granddaughter. This one contained a wild ginseng. This one is Reishi Mushroom. This is liquorice root." Grandpa Tang said.

Everyone was speechless.

"Why are you saying that you found the human organs?" The captain turned to his subordinate, asking for the reason.

"I think I know why." Grandpa Tang said.

"What are you talking about?" The captain asked.

"Let’s get out of this room first. I will explain it later." Grandpa Tang said.

All of them got out of the room. All eyes were on Grandpa Tang. Grandpa Tang turned off the lamp inside the room and closed the door.

"Please explain it to us." The captain requested.

"Sir, please open the door and look inside." Grandpa Tang stepped aside, letting the captain open the door.

The captain followed Grandpa Tang’s order. He opened the door and looked inside. Then, everything clicked. Seeing the captain’s shocked expression, Grandpa Tang knew that he also saw them.

"Is this really the truth?" The captain asked.

"Yes." Grandpa Tang nodded.

The captain sighed heavily.

"Boss, what is going on?" The police officer asked.

"Come here and look inside." The captain asked.

One by one, the police officers took a look inside, and they were speechless.

"Is this really the truth?" One of the police officers said.

"The lighting plays the role. With certain angles of lighting, the things inside the medicinal wine appear to be something else." Grandpa Tang said.

"I see. We already checked everything. Found nothing. Elder Tang, I am sorry for disturbing your time." The captain apologised.

"It’s fine. I understand. It is your duty." Grandpa Tang said understandingly.

"We are going to leave now." The captain said. He turned to his subordinates. "Everyone, the searching is completed. We found nothing. Nothing like what’s in the report."

"Yes, Sir." The police officer responded.

They walked toward the entrance. They apologised to Grandpa Tang over and over again. Grandpa Tang just nodded.

"Anyway, can I know who made the report stating our house has stored human organs?" Grandpa Tang said.

"Well, we can not tell you because it was anonymous. But I can tell you that it is a woman." The captain stated. "Then, excuse me. Thank you for your cooperation."

The police officer left in a calm manner. Tang Jung Wen and Tang Jang Qin just returned to see the police officer leaving. They ignored that and rushed in.

"Dad, what is going on? Why did the police officer come to our house?" Tang Jung Wen asked when he saw his father was still at the entrance door.

"Come in first." Grandpa Tang looked calm compared to his panicking sons.

Both of them came in.

"Dad, please tell us about this." Tang Jang Qin said.

"The police officer came because there was a report stating that we had stored human organs here." Grandpa Tang said.

"What?" Tang Jung Wen and Tang Jang Qin were shocked when they heard that.

"Organ humans? Who makes that sick joke?" Tang Jang Qin asked.

"We don’t know. According to the police officer’s statement, it was a woman." Grandpa Tang said.

"The police officers will not leave until they find something suspicious. It has been just one hour since they arrived. How can they leave just like that?" Tang Jung Wen asked.

"Come and follow me. It is easier to show you." Grandpa Tang said.

The two sons followed their father. They arrived in front of the room where their father stored the medicinal wine made by Yu Qi.

"Is this where you store the medicinal wine?" Tang Jung Wen asked.

"Open the door and take a look inside the room." Grandpa Tang said.

Tang Jung Wen opened the door and looked inside as his father asked him to. He was speechless when he looked inside.

"Dad..." Tang Jung Wen turned to his father.

"Yeah. The light messes with our sight. The medicinal herbs in the medicinal wine looked like human organs." Grandpa Tang chuckled.
