Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 281 Abilities

Just as Almond returned to his room, the cat appeared in front of him.

“Congrats, Almond. As expected, you won the first battle,” the cat said, its eyes smiling. “As a reward, I’ll give you the first lesson, so you can win the second battle. Of course, only if you learn the lesson properly and apply it.”

Almond curiously blinked and smiled, “I am all ears.”

“You imagine a step-by-step process for a desired result and feed it to Prana. That’s good. But now, you have to create a processor of your activation sequence. Visualize the information of your process, shape it, and establish its execution.”

“Miracle is magic, but magic is simply an act of executing your creativity. For example…” the cat’s eyes glowed before they released circular waves towards Almond of different frequencies.

The waves hit Almond as his vision turned wobbly, and his brain lagged before he puked out a black substance.

“This was an Active Ability called Purifying Oscillation. Prana was merely fuel for this activation sequence that stemmed from its processor, unlike what you did, which was transforming Prana. Remember, you are not using Mana anymore. What you are using is something greater, something that only needs to act as fuel to execute the process you created in a processor.”

“Prana will execute your sequence based on a process, and this process must be in a processor for execution, like the symbol within this wooden sword. Remember, creating a sequence means you can control every single part of your process, from tiny to massive, and Prana will execute it, something which Mana can’t do.”

Almond’s eyes shone.

“It seems you know what to do now,” the cat laughed. “Figure out the symbol, the processor to know how to create one and regain some of your skills as superior abilities within thirty minutes because your next battle is going to be very hard.”

“Yes, sir!” Almond excitedly grinned and sat down cross-legged, entering full-focused mode.

The cat’s eyes glinted as he watched Almond with amusement.

‘You forcefully wielded Prana by calling it from the Labyrinth’s core structure before, bent it utterly to your will, and executed a devastating attack that obliterated an opponent far stronger than you.’

‘If you could do that at that time, you can do much more now.’

The cat was talking about Almond’s first life as he had read Almond’s whole life by peeking into his mind and soul, which was one of the reasons he took this approach with Almond to explore and develop him during this evaluation.

Almond didn’t have basic knowledge of Prana like others, but teaching Almond about it in self-exploring and learning was more beneficial to him, and also faster given his comprehension.

‘I didn’t tell you an important thing, but I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Give me some surprises, kiddo. I am expecting them,’ the cat grinned and vanished.

‘A sequence is a series of logic I create in my mind for a process I desire. This symbol…I understand now!’

‘Let’s start with Espada Ad Grimveil. I want it back, better than ever, and with this new knowledge, I should be able to make it better than before. I can add functions within my own domain!’

Almond was uber-excited and immediately began.

‘First, the domain would be a 100-meter radius in size. Its structure is spatial, overlapping with the plane’s space around me. Once this asset is established, I can control space within it.’

‘Let’s create a processor for this domain first.’

Almond visualizes the logic of his Espada Ad Grimveil, which he already knew since he was the one who created it in the skill insight dimension.

This was also why his specialized class wasn’t locked while his Primary class was semi-locked.

But now, all of his skill runes had been destroyed by the cat, so he had to regain his skills in the form of abilities.

‘No wonder people call them abilities. It’s because we create the processors ourselves with our own structure and sequence of logic based on our ability to wield Prana and our assets.’

In front of Almond, a cubic symbol formed in the air by burning Prana as fuel to establish the process of Espada Ad Grimveil.

‘With this domain, I am the all-severing rift. There is nothing I cannot cut and connect….sequence established. Within the domain, I am the all-perceiving eyes. There is nothing I cannot unveil…sequence established.’

‘The logic was really simple. Everything within the domain is contaminated by space that is within my control, and my will exerts it. This whole class scales based on my will more than anything, so…’

A field expanded from Almond, covering the room.

‘Time to add a new process…the sequence of Severance Blade. A blade-shaped folded space of utter thinness. Prana will actualize it once it enters the processor. But not enough, I have to add more assets in the Severance Blade to make it powerful.’

‘Golden Haze lightning’s electrical discharge for an intense, high voltage current. It must stay tame until it makes contact for burst release to increase the destructiveness and extreme heat.’

‘Unpredictability of lightning….for this, I’ll have to add Lumeir in the equation. But rather than putting it in the Severance Blade’s sequence, how about I spread it in my domain?’ Almond’s eyes shone. ‘That way, Severance Blade can be enhanced any time, and with the nature of lightning I gave it, it can travel through air unpredictably instead of just singular direction!’

In the room, cyan golden motes flickered before Almond released Severance Blade by absorbing Prana.

He wasn’t using the processor he was building, but the same method as he used in the battle to test out the sequence.

Severance Blade came into existence, but it looked different, flickering unstably. It had a hazy blade, but its shape was like a lightning tendril.

A slick lightning tendril with edges.

‘Refine its shape. Make it like a snake, slicker, smoother, and sharper! Prana is a game of particles of any size. It can be shaped the way I want.’

*Shree!*

The flexible blade is like a flat digital golden light.

It moved like a snake around the room, blindingly fast! Unpredictable and deadly!

‘Crap, this needs a new name!’

‘Everything I create from now will need a new name!’

*Zap!*

The flexible blade struck the bench, cutting it into two before it streaked away.

Almon was supplying it to Prana constantly but stopped as it dispersed.

‘Let’s add it to this processor. The name of this ability will be…Arbitrary Viper: Golden Edge. I’ll give it a snake-like visual on its surface.’

Almond added the sequence of this ability in the processor of Espada Ad Grimveil, as this was something only able to be used while Espada Ad Grimveil was activated.

‘I have to add one more attack sequence since I have a visual idea of it,’ Almond grinned. ‘Arbitrary Wyrm: Sand Fang.’

‘Sand of Vibrant Wave is strong, very strong. It has destructive properties that can break down things if I use its attributes properly. Not only that, I can make a solid defensive structure with it as well.’

‘Whether I want to break tough defenses or create tough defenses, this asset is perfect. It lacks the speed of lightning, but that Mad Shark used Prana to accelerate somehow. Acceleration is not an elemental asset but a catalyst—an amplifier of kinetic force. If Prana can even do that, then it’s indeed vastly superior to Mana.’

‘Whatever sequence and logic I vision, Prana can actualize it according to the process I desire…as long as it is structured as a sequence and not a jumble.’

‘Fucking hell, this is fun! I’ll create as many abilities as I can. After finishing Artibrary Wyrm: Sand Fang, I’ll at least have to create a movement-type ability and a solid defense-type one with not just my assets but more creative logic for the next fight.’
