Chapter 280 Wielding Prana
Mad Shark broke into a dash after hearing Almond, but halfway, his dash accelerated drastically as he crossed the 50 meters in an instant, his right fist aiming at Almond’s head.
‘He used Prana in his body to enhance his speed.’
Almond guarded with his sword but didn’t put power into his guard for blocking. Rather, he put power in redirection as he pressed his right foot to jump and let Mad Shark’s power push him.
Almond was flung upward powerfully, but calmly landed fifty meters back as if the attack had no effect.
‘The art of redirection is awesome. Glad I sparred with those two old perverts,’ Almond grinned.
“Not bad, brat. To even parry away the impact and use my own force to help yourself,” Mad Shark licked his lips. “It’ll be worth eating you.”
“Shut up and come,” Almond grinned. ‘So I can analyze you and learn.’
Mad Shark’s aura surged as Almond saw Prana flowing in his body, increasing his Body constitution to 80.
He dashed again and punched mid-air as Prana whirled around his fist before transforming into a watery vertical tornado that shot at Almond while Mad Shark vanished, seemingly entering the tornado.
‘That…’ Almond’s All-Seeing Eyes saw the whole process and his eyes shone. ‘What the fuck?’
*Swoosh!*
Suddenly, a blue punch projectile shot out from the tornado at a blinding speed.
Almond moved slightly as it streaked past him with a mere distance of a few inches before crashing into the barrier that protected the audience.
Right after that, two more punches came while the Tornado moved around Almond like a snake as Mad Shark’s voice rang out, “What happened? Can’t fight back?”
“Blade King barely dodged and defended himself again! But Mad Shark is relentless in his assault! He is closing in!”
Almond was surrounded by the constantly moving tornado from which Mad Shark shot out projectiles of punches at irregular intervals, mostly attacking with two to three punches from different angles since he was circulating one round around Almond per second.
Almond constantly moved and deflected the attacks. He couldn’t use anything right now except for his five senses, physical prowess, and this sword given to him by the cat, which was quite sturdy and powerful given how it didn’t break despite clashing against Mad Shark’s punches.
‘Prana is obeying his commands, but with a process. It feels like a sequence,’ Almond thought as his All-Seeing Eyes extracted all information he could from Mad Shark, but he was feeling pressure increasing each second.
One punch brushed at his left arm and cheek, leaving a trail of blood.
‘This is so flexible. Mana can never achieve this.’

Mad Shark was closing in while moving around Almond, reducing the distance so Almond was getting less and less time to react.
But Almond was calm and focused on how Mad Shark was using Prana, feeling it and understanding it.
‘Anchor point is the sequence…a process, so the sword’s symbol is a processor,’ Almond’s eyes glinted. ‘If that’s the case, then I have to feed Prana a complete sequence of a process I desire and create a processor for it.’
‘This…is way easier than executing a skill,’ Almond’s eyes glinted. ‘I have to enhance myself first. Mana techniques work because Mana automatically empowers our bodies. We just need to guide it properly for that result, but Prana is different.’
Almond dodged again while suddenly absorbing a large amount of Prana within his body.
‘I can’t make a processor right now, so it won’t remain active, but I can activate it for two seconds at least.’
Almond’s body faintly glowed. ‘A logical process, a sequence of actions.’
‘I can see my cells with my All-Seeing Eyes, so enhancing them with Golden Haze Lightning would do the work.’
“You’re making a move?” Mad Shark’s laughter came and suddenly, five punches streaked at Almond from different directions.
Almond quickly moved, swinging his sword to deflect one, and using its force to get pushed as he dodged others, but one punch projectile was on its way.
‘You think I can’t predict your moves after seeing you canceling my attacks so many times?!’ Mad Shark sneered. ‘It’s time to die, brat.’
Almond swung his sword while trying to move mid-air, but he wasn’t completely successful as the punch projectile bit off a chunk of his flesh at his stomach’s right corner.
‘Activate.’
In the next second, however, Almond’s entire body crackled with golden electricity as he streaked towards Mad Shark’s tornado like a lightning bolt, his sword in motion.
*Slash!*
A loud thunderclap rang as the tornado scattered while Mad Shark fell flat on his face on the ground, completely silent, while Almond appeared five meters behind him.
‘Oof, I got injured,’ Almond covered his wound with his hand as golden haze lightning began to flicker as he grinned. ‘But I figured out how to use Prana and it excites me to no end.’
Meanwhile, the arena was silent, watching unmoving Mad Shark with bated breath.
*Plop*
But a trail of blood began to highlight at the middle of the Mad Shark’s head till the end part between his legs before…he split into two as his two parts plopped to the sides, soon forming a puddle of blood.
“The Mad Shark is down!” the dwarf roared as he floated before Almond.
The audience burst into uproar.
“Blade King is the winner! Congrats!”
“Holy crap, he sliced Mad Shark into two!”
“Damn, I wasn’t expecting that!”
“Self-enhancement with his lightning accompanied by a masterful stroke of his sword did the deed.”
On the other there, the dwarf grinned at Almond and said into his ears, “You can go back now and rest. Your next fight will start after half an hour.”
Almond nodded and began walking back.
“Do you want a healing potion? Wouldn’t cost much for contestants.”
*Crackle…*
Just as the dwarf finished speaking, golden haze lightning entered his wound from his hand as he finished the activation sequence of restoring his cells using the attributes of his Golden Haze Lightning and fed this process he created to Prana.
“No need, it’s all healed,” Almond responded without turning back as the wound began healing swiftly.
‘Thirty minutes? Sweet. I can figure out the symbol soon, and once I do that, I’ll be able to create abilities like it,’ Almond’s eyes sparkled with thrill as his walking pace increased.
