Kent took the blood essence and core of the beasts he had killed, causing Zeroth to wish Kent would be struck by an asteroid where he stood. He wanted Kent dead.
Of course, Knet didn’t burn their bodies.
It was his way of telling Zeroth he meant no offence.
He simply retrieved the core, blood essence, and left the bodies for Zeroth to do with them as he pleased.
It had only been two minutes since Kent unleashed his bloodline. Still, none of the beasts was able to stand up.
So while he waited for the main target, Kent chose to experiment with his bloodline. He sat down and focused on the three main targets: Zeroth and the two Nagas.
He focused on Zeroth and chose to keep his blood pressure concentrated in specific locations on his body.
His first target was Zeroth’s arm.
He applied the pressure, and like a twig, his arm broke.
“Oh.” Kent smiled despite Zeroth screaming his lungs out.
“Sorry about that. I was just experimenting with something, and you look like a specimen to me.”
Zeroth glared at Kent but said nothing. He only gritted his teeth but remained calm.
“You don’t have to worry, I will compensate you later for all of this.” The next arm broke afterwards, and this time, Zeroth cursed at Kent.
“I will kill you. The least chance I get, I will kill you.”
Kent laughed, “You are funny, Zeroth. If I wanted you dead, I wouldn’t have used 2% of my bloodline. So keep quiet and endure”
The faces of Vashara and Niraya turned even paler, hearing Kent’s words.
’Just 2% and we are already at our limit. Just what kind of monster is he?’ Vashara said to her sister through telepathy.
’Not even Lord Ignarok will make us this helpless,’ Niraya also said, and Vashara nodded.
They had felt the aura of the strongest monarch in the Flame Sea before, but even he paled in comparison to Kent. Perhaps he could suppress them too, but not as severely as Kent had.
’Does it mean he is even stronger than Lord Ignarok?’ Niraya asked, and Vashara could only turn and look at Kent, who had yet again broken Zeroth’s body, this time, one of his legs.
The more they looked at Kent, the more afraid they became.
There is one thing to suppress someone using your bloodline, and another to use the pressure to hurt them. What Kent was doing was too much for a person to handle.
Suddenly, a terrifying pressure came from deep within the inner region.
Kent turned and looked in that direction. A smile appeared on his face.
“She is here.”
The pressure that appeared in the inner region soon began to approach Kent. In no time, a redhead beauty appeared, locking her cold gaze on Kent.
“You must be the monarch.” Kent stood up and walked away from Zeroth.
“Who are you?” Sylvara asked in a much colder tone.
Perhaps, as she looked at her two guards, suppressed and on their knees, her anger began to overwhelm her senses. However, she could also feel a primal fear from just being around Kent.
This fear, she felt it deep within her bones. This made her hesitate, which, without her even knowing, was the only thing saving her from Kent’s Chaos Dragon bloodline.
“You can call me Kent.” Kent waved his hand, and the pressure bearing down on the beasts vanished.
“I came here to hunt, but it turns out you wanted my head. Makes me wonder what I did to you,” Kent said with a subtle smirk.
“So it was you whom I sensed days ago?” Sylvara asked, and Kent nodded.
“You didn’t exactly sense me. You sensed this.” Kent lit his soul flame and allowed the Verdant Flame of Renewal to activate.
The moment Sylvara saw this, her body tensed, and a hint of hunger flashed across her face. However, she held herself back.
Kent smiled when he saw this.
“May I ask why you want this?”
Sylvara looked at the green flame and answered, “If I were to swallow this flame, the chances of me breaking the 30th limit are high. I have already broken 29 and just need one to be able to go back home.”
“Oh, very ambitious.” Kent raised his brow. He hadn’t really looked at Sylvara’s profile, so hearing she had broken 29 limits made him see her in a new light.
’I will need 7% of my bloodline to match her strength if I were to fight her,’ Kent said inaudibly. However, he also knew if things were to escalate, he could easily kill her with the Soul Universe.
“Though I have to ask, why do you want to go back home? Isn’t this home?”
“No. I am not from this place.”
“I see. In any case, I wouldn’t ask since I know you wouldn’t tell me. However, you should also know that I can’t give you my soul flame.”
The aura around Sylvara changed, hearing Kent’s words.
“However, I have a way to help you.”
“How?”
“Simple, become my subordinate and I will not only help you break your 30th limit, I will also help you awaken your Innate Beast Body and other innate talent abilities, aspects, and so on.”
The cold look in the Serpent Monarch’s eye turned even colder.
Kent knew it was a big ask, but he wanted her to know what he was after before things got out of hand…
“Look, my soul flame is linked to me. This means to get it, you must kill me. However, I am not somebody you can easily kill.
You know that, and I know that. So think long and hard about it. You can take pride in thinking that becoming my subordinate is beneath you.
However, if you truly know who I am, you will even beg me to make you my slave.
Unfortunately, I hate slavery, so becoming my subordinate is a mercy someone at my level of standing will offer you.
So relax and think long and hard about it. I might even give you a way to ascend to an immortal world.”
Kent sat back down, but his guard was up. He didn’t trust the beasts, and even with his bloodline, he knew the monarch was different. Breaking 29 limits is no easy feat.
In the powerful Supreme High Worlds, she could be counted among the top geniuses. This is why Kent was inclined to tame her.
However, things were never going to be simple.
Just when Kent thought he had made headway, he sensed the presence of two more dangerous beasts, each arriving with 12 powerful Tier 19 beasts.
“Looks like I will have to fight my way out of this,” Kent muttered, standing up.
He looked toward the Serpent Monarch and said, “I know what you are thinking. My advice to you is not. If we fight, you, your guards, and the Kings might live, but the others won’t.
So take my advice and—”
Before Kent could end his sentence, a beam came from Zeroth, who was furious, having lost nine subordinates.
His attack was the cue that all of them had been waiting for.
Vashara dashed toward Kent, and because she was a Naga, her speed was several times faster. She arrived before him, and her two sabres came down with a powerful swing.
Kent dodged and distanced himself.
“Fine. If words can’t knock some sense into you, then I must become an Apex Predator and suppress you bugs.”
Kent let loose, and the beasts felt the danger… However, it was already too late to retreat.
