Although Kent was surrounded by 24 Tier 19 (Heavenly Ascension) stage beasts, his focus was on Zeroth and the two Nagas.
They were the only ones he knew would pose a threat. Though the other 21 Tier 19 beasts could easily kill him, he knew that with his abilities, he would survive them.
However, the three were extremely dangerous.
’The smug-looking guy is Zeroth, the king of this place. He had already broken 23 limits on his body.’ Kent, note down the Zeroth profile that he managed to glean using his Heavenly Jade Eye.
’That is quite impressive for a beast,’ he added.
’Vexthra said the highest limit one can break while in a high world is 30. Breaking 23 while only 35,000 years old is impressive. He will make a fine addition to my Beast Legion.’
’However, these two Nagas are even more impressive. Twenty-five limits broken, no wonder this place is dangerous. Just one of them can kill all the Heavenly Ascension stage cultivators I came across so far.’
Zeroth smirked, watching Kent’s eyes move from him to the two Nagas.
“So you are the one the monarch is looking for,” he asked, but Kent merely raised his brow.
“I don’t know what you meant. However, I do have a question for you,” Kent responded, and Zeroth, who, in his eyes, Kent was already as good as dead, chose to indulge him.
“Ask away.”
“You wouldn’t happen to know a thing or two about why these two ladies are staring at me like I have stolen their fish?”
The question caught Zeroth off guard.
However, before he could process it, a fireball flew toward Kent.
“Hey, I merely asked a question.” A sword appeared in Kent’s hand, and with one quick slash, the fireball was cut in half.
However, he didn’t have a moment of rest since a flaming sabre appeared before his face. Kent was forced to move back, narrowly evading the attack.
10,000 flame veins were activated, filling his body with energy, evading another fireball, only for the second flaming sabre to appear before him again.
’Damn, they are fast.’
The two Nagas attacked Kent instantly, giving him no time to react. However, thanks to Kent’s reflexes, he managed to evade their first three attacks.
“Ladies, perhaps we can solve this amicably before things escalate,” Kent said, but he was forced to jump high into the air just when the ground he stood on exploded.
“Bind him,” Vashara, the Scarlet Flame Naga Warrior, shouted, and the Scarlet Flame Naga Priestess, Niraya, waved her staff, conjuring a net made of fire energy to trap Kent mid-air.

“Buddha’s Palm.”
A large flaming palm appeared in the air, sending a dreadful feeling toward Niraya. However, just when Kent was about to attack with it, a spear shot through it, causing him to cough up blood.
He turned and looked down, meeting the smug gaze of Zeroth, whose spear flew back to him.
Kent didn’t even have time to glare at him when a flaming whip suddenly appeared from behind, crackling with hot and burning fire.
’Damn, looks like I need to get serious.’
Kent activated the rest of his flame veins, allowing all 23,700 to come to life.
“Flame Wheels.”
Right when the two flame rings appeared around his foot, Kent felt time slow down. His speed surges, but even so, he can tell the Nagas and a few beasts around aren’t slowing down like the avatar of the immortal he killed.
’This is an eye-opener. I will never look down on anyone ever again’ Kent smirked, knowing he had been cocky lately.
“Although I can’t kill you three, mainly because I don’t want to, the rest aren’t safe from me.” Kent moved, and a head flew into the air.
The moment Zeroth saw this, his expression changed.
“Venomous Gorge Formation.”
The ground shook, and green toxic mist appeared. The ground began to turn watery in an instant.
However, that wasn’t all; just when the water appeared, it lit up with green flames, causing the surrounding flames to change colour.
“Ladies, I think we have to end this now. You already have your proof, so end this, or else I will be forced to kill him.”
Kent was blinded for a second. However, his Heavenly Jade Eyes kicked in, freeing him from the toxic mist.
And with that advantage, Kent moved in for three more kills.
Vashara and Niraya, who could see clearly in the mist, saw that Kent wasn’t slowing down.
“Trap him,” Vashara said, moving toward Kent. When she was 3 meters away, a shadow moved past her and whispered into his ear.
“Let’s talk after I kill them first.”
Two heads fell down before she could even get close to Kent’s afterimage.
“Niraya, do it now.”
“Flaming Prison.”
Right when Kent severed the head of another beast, the ground exploded where he stood, and bones rose from the ground, trapping him in.
“Flame Chains… Bind him.” Chains burst from the ground and latched onto Kent’s arm.
“Die for me!”
Zeroth shouted, jumping up into the air, his spear aimed at Kent.
“Stop, Zeroth,” Vashara shouted; however, losing 8 Tier 19 subordinates just like that had enraged the Flame Cobra King, so he didn’t obey her command.
“Die!”
He threw his spear, which streaked forward like a shooting star and stabbed through Kent’s chest.
“No!” Niraya shouted, deactivating the flame prison.
She rushed to Kent’s side to check if he was indeed dead. They had orders to bring him in alive.
However, just when she was getting close, Vashara appeared and grabbed her just when Kent’s body exploded.
“Nice save, lady.” Kent’s voice appeared 2 meters behind one of Zeroth’s subordinates. He swung his sword, taking its head off.
Although it was a mere flying sword, in Kent’s hands, it claimed the lives of nine beasts.
Zeroth’s face turned red as he transformed into his 400-meter-long cobra form. He moved and appeared before Kent. However, Kent teleported and appeared atop Zeroth’s head.
“Down.” He stomped on his head, sending him crashing down.
“Stay down,” Kent commanded, but the next second, a giant flame spear appeared alongside two flaming sabres.
Both Vashara and Niraya attacked. However, Kent evaded the spear and used his sword to block the sabre attacks.
He stomped on the ground, and doom shards burst out, lunging at the two Nagas.
“Die!”
Zeroth’s voice appeared again as the green mist was sucked by the Cobra King, which he then transformed into a large spear.
When the spear was aimed at Kent, he felt his body freeze in place. However, he willed himself to move.
However, right when he moved, a rope made of fire latched onto his leg.
One of Zeroth’s subordinates, still alive, came to their king’s aid.
“Zeroth, don’t. If you kill him, the Monarch will have your head.”
Zeroth paused and turned to Vashara and Niraya and then spoke in a cold and angry tone, “We don’t know if he is the one or not.”
“He is the one,” Niraya replied. “He had already proven he is the one by killing nine Tier 19 beasts.”
“We don’t know that.” The green spear shot from Zeroth’s mouth and flashed toward Kent. The flame rope was holding him in place, so all he could do was defend against the spear he knew had the means to kill him.
’What a headache. Even with this many flame veins, I still can’t handle two dozen Tier 19 beasts.’ Kent smiled and then chose to become even more serious.
“Killing me is not that easy, bug.”
Kent’s pupils shifted to golden red, and then his claws appeared, catching the green spear effortlessly.
’But then with my bloodline, I am unstoppable.’
Kent transformed into his demi-dragon form and then roared, shaking the hearts of the beasts.
