Chapter 961: Heavenly Jade Eyes
Chapter 961: Heavenly Jade Eyes
While Kent’s legion and wives were handling their business in the future, back in the past, Kent was also making moves of his own.
Only five hours had passed since his ladies arrived on the 4th floor; however, to Kent, it felt like five days had passed.
He was still seated in the same place he was five days ago. His eyes were closed, and the nourishing energy around him seemed to have grown much thicker and stronger.
Lady Azela and her mother, Lady Kami, were standing guards.
They didn’t want to leave his side until he woke up.
Thankfully, a few hours into the 5th day, Kent woke up from his enlightened state with terrifying changes.
He had just attained enlightenment, making it his 5th in the sword path. He still had 6 more to go. However, this particular enlightenment was one that Kent never saw coming.
The Jade Token he absorbed was one of the rewards he earned when he killed the Wandering Demon Swordsman. He was meant to absorb it a while back, but he was preoccupied with many things.
Now that he did, the change that happened was one he never expected. His Enchanted Eyes and the Sword Gaze merged, forming a mutation called Heavenly Jade Eyes.
Initially, he had two different sets of eyes: The Enchanted Eyes and the Sword Gaze. However, now he had just one after the two merged, and it was a set so powerful that he could barely begin to tell what he couldn’t do.
’So with this fusion, not only can I appraise anything I want, I can even see through many formations provided they are below Tier 16.’
Kent smiled.
He knew that with the Soul Map, seeing through Tier 16 formation and even bypassing it wasn’t that hard. However, seeing that he could now do that with just his gaze, he was more than happy.
’Aside from that, with a mere gaze, I will be able to see through the structure of any Array, formation, or restriction. Basically, even if I can’t see through them, I will be able to see what they are made of and then work to break them.’
’Isn’t this similar to Weaver’s Eye that Gaia told me about a while back?’
Kent didn’t know what to make of this unique ability of his eye. ’With this, I will be practically invincible unless, of course, the formation is Tier 19.’ He smiled.
’Even I have my limits.’
He then turned to the combat aspect of it, and just as a Sword Gaze does, he could attack using his Sword Gaze skills. All his sword gaze abilities have become stronger.
However, something had changed.
’Heavenly Jade Sword Art, huh?’ Kent read through a technique he had received out of the blue. It was a sword technique that functioned similarly to the Heavenly Transcendence Sword technique.
However, this one allowed him to form jade swords from his eyes and attack with them.
’The perfect sneak attacking skill. I will treasure it.’
Kent stood up, feeling like he was ready for the next phase of his plans. He had already made one progress and is now down for the next.
He turned around, and His eyes landed on the mother and daughter.
“Thanks for protecting me,” Kent said, walking toward them.
Lady Kami retrieved a jade token and threw it at him. “My daughter told me you asked for the Soul Puppet Refining Art. I have recorded everything onto the jade token. You just have to channel your energy into it, and the information will imprint on your mind.”
“Thank you.”
Kent stored the jade token in his space ring without even checking what was placed on it. Naturally, he knew the ladies wouldn’t deceive him.
“So, where do you intend to go from here?” Lady Azela asked. She was already aware Kent would be leaving after delivering her to her mother. Now that he had done that, it was time for him to leave.
“I need somewhere I can train. A friend recommended a place called Flame Sea, but I’m unsure of its location. If you ladies can point me in the right direction, I will be very happy.”
“This…”
Both Lady Azela and her mother’s expressions changed at the mention of the Flame Sea. They looked sceptical, unsure whether they should tell him about the Flame Sea or save his life by saying nothing.
“What is wrong?” Kent asked, seeing that they wanted to hold back on him. “If you are worried I will be in danger, then don’t.
If I were to go to a place filled with flame energy, it would not only be beneficial to me, but I might just gain the power to kill this Planet King. So tell me what I need to know because whether you like it or not, I will be going there.”
Kent said with a small smile.
He had already received a quest, and he intended to complete it. Of course, he knew it wouldn’t be easy, so he planned to first raise his strength.
One way of doing that was to form his flame veins and, if possible, a flame core. He knew forming a flame core would raise his strength by several fold. So, he couldn’t afford to miss out on visiting a place called Flame Sea.
Lady Kami and her daughter saw the resolute look in Kent’s eye and knew that saying nothing would be bad for him. So they wanted to make sure he knew the danger before going there.
“Listen well, Kent,” Lady Kami said. “In the Primos Planetary System, there are 120 planets. The ten Pill Worlds aren’t the strongest, though they are the wealthiest planets.
However, when it comes to strength and danger, even Planet Nictus surpasses them. However, there is a reason why we are hesitant to tell you about the Flame Sea.
It is located on Planet Cosima. It is a beast world dominated by some of the strongest beasts in this planetary system. Many even consider it the strongest planet in the Primos Planetary System.
The reason they think that is because of the Seven Flame Beast Monarchs located on the planet. They are beyond your understanding.
In fact, twenty Peak Heavenly Ascension stage warriors gathered to hunt just one of them, but only two of them returned barely alive.”
Kent raised his brow.
“Not only would the flame on the planet reduce you to nothing, but the monarchs there aren’t at all simple for you to be roaming there.”
Kent smiled. “I have no business roaming that place. I just want to train in the flame for a few weeks and then be on my way.”
Knowing that not even twenty Peak Heavenly Ascension stage warriors managed to bring one down, Kent knew he had to be extra careful.
’I am afraid this time, I might just be meeting a true powerhouse of a Supreme High World. I’d better be prepared to not throw away my life before I get to see what forming a Flame Core will feel like.’
“How far is Planet Cosima from this planet?”
“Two weeks if you take a normal ship. One and a half if you pick the VIP ones. Those ones are safe and peaceful to travel in, though it might cost you extra.”
“I don’t mind the cost. If I can get what I am looking for on the planet, then it will all be worth it.”
“If you say so.”
Kent spent a few minutes learning more about the Flame Sea. Once he had had enough, he left the sect and began travelling to the city where the Transfer Channel was located.
