Chapter 1377 A sword divine

Chapter 1377  A sword divine

“What in the hell,” Jest muttered, his forehead breaking into waves of sweat.

“That is indeed true, kid. Welcome to the Yang Hell Flame Sword Realm. I am Sword Divine Yuan.” A voice came from behind Jest, taking him by surprise.

There was just no way to describe the hell he appeared in. All around him, only scorching hot fire could be seen, burning with the fury of an undying fury.

Jest, who already had a level 5 heavenly sword energy, felt like an ant standing in such an environment. Turning around, his gaze met that of a handsome redhead human with a pair of razor-sharp eyebrows.

“Is this really your sword realm?” Jest asked, clearly in disbelief. To him, a sword realm is basically a small manifestation of the swordsman’s understanding of their sword path.

There is just no way it should be this vast and powerful.

“I know what you are wondering, kid. In my opinion, throw away all you know of swordsmanship because when you awaken the Divine sword energy and finally become a Sword Divine like me, everything changes.

Whatever you know of swordsmanship, see it as you in the lower realm. You are now in the higher realm, so please don’t even for one second consider the idea that you can muster any resistance against me.”

Jest nodded, already aware that he had no way to do anything inside this domain he found himself in. He can die at any moment because he is too weak to do anything.

His heavenly sword energy is useless, and he can feel that. So since he had already lost, he might as well make sure he wasn’t sent away in the most agonizing way possible.

“I suppose I have lost, huh?”

“That is only natural, kid. You have proven yourself to everyone. I, for one, am impressed, and that should go a long way, kid. I am not easily impressed.”

Jest smiled and nodded. “I suppose clearing four floors is okay for now. I won the 4th level by luck, so there is that. However, before I leave, can you answer some questions for me?”

“Go on, kid. You have earned an answer or two.”

Jest gave him a gentle smile, and then he asked the question, “I can see your sword realm has the fire attribute. Does this have something to do with your sword path or your elemental affinity?”

“Both,” Sword Divine Yuan answered. “I am a flame human, so naturally I have an affinity for the flame element. However, my sword path is also flame-based, since the fire element is again natural to me.

However, if you are wondering if you can learn other elemental affinities and incorporate them into your sword realm, then my only answer will be no.”

“Can I know why?”

“Incorporating an element into your sword realm is something that can be accomplished if your understanding of the element is strong enough. However, here lies the case where your sword path is not aligned with your elemental affinity.

This means you have no way of incorporating that element into the sword realm. Of course, you can learn it and perhaps find a way to use it. However, that would take just too much time.

Take the Sword Sea you had just witnessed. If the owner had time and patience, they could learn the water element and, from the Sword Emperor stage to the Sword Legend stage, use it to shape their sword realm.

Trust me, with the nature of his sword realm, adding water to it will make it something to be feared greatly.

The same can be said for the broken sword realm. If the owner were to add the metal element, there is no telling what could become of it.

But to accomplish this, one would have to have patience because, trust me, when it comes to creating an element-based sword realm, there is nothing more daunting and taxing.

But it all borders on their sword path. Would augmenting their sword realm in the long run align or deviate from their sword path?”

“That is a lot to take in,” Jest exhales and lets his mind free up some space. He had learned a lot from the small sword Divine Yuan mentioned.

If there is one thing he has learned thus far, it is the ability to be patient in all things. He is someone walking his own path, so there is no telling just what he can accomplish if he has the patience.

But there is also the question of whether he can handle what he has heard. He is not in a rush to become a Sword Emperor or even form his sword realm.

If possible, just like how he wasted 120 years learning all 1.6 million sword moves, he can waste his time and learn an element and incorporate it into his sword path before forming a sword realm.

“You know, one good thing about walking my own path is the flexibility to do as I please. I can choose to learn as many elements as I want and incorporate as many as I can before advancing,”

Sword Divine Yuan smiles. “That is indeed true. You have the luxury to do any crazy thing you want. However, as you ask, would that align with what you want to achieve?”

Jest smiled and gave Sword Divine Yuan a wink. “That is the thing, senior. My sword path has no defined path. Basically, I can just go any direction I want, and it would be fine.

So I can choose to learn the flame element and incorporate it into my sword path without any issues. You can say my sword path is formless. It can take any form I want.”

Sword Divine Yuan shook his head in disbelief. There is just no way to describe what kind of monster Jest is. From the start of his journey on the sword bridge, it had been one shocking event after another.

“I suppose all I can do is wish you the best and hope you succeed. If one day you become a Sword Divine, you can come challenge me again. Maybe we will have a good duel.

For now, you are not qualified to challenge me, since you wouldn’t even know when you die.”

“I understand, and I promise to give you a good fight the next time we meet.” Jest ended with his classic smile. His body was engulfed in flames, and before he could blink, only ash remained.

The next second, Jest appeared in front of the sword bridge, which is actually a tall pagoda.

“It really should be called sword pagoda,” Jest joked. Then he turned to face the two Immortal Lords looking at him.

“Elder Ritsu and Elder Willa, I hope with how dangerous you are looking at me, you aren’t trying to renege on our deal, you know, allowing me to challenge that brat to a deathmatch.”

The kid who threatened to make him his slave sure had to die, and so, despite becoming a star in the Whispering Wind Sword Sect, he still wanted him dead.

Elder Ritsu, who is the acting sect leader, snapped out of his daze and answered, “You are now an Inner Disciple, so you have to wait till that kid becomes an Inner Disciple before you can challenge him.”

“Immortal Lord Ritsu is right,” Elder Willa stepped in. “For now, you must come with us. We have been instructed to send you to a special place where you will be staying for now.”

“How convenient. I guess I will find another way to take his head off his body,” Jest muttered, and then started following the two Immortal Lords.
