Chapter 1376  Sword Sea Realm

Colins had already warned Jest that if he were to use his sword realm during their battle, he would be drowned in the chaos.

However, what he is seeing now is just out of this world. It is like he was seeing the end of him, but strangely, considering how beautiful the sword sea was, he just couldn’t help hoping it came quickly enough.

“My sword realm is called Sword Sea. It is not sea in the literal sense, just that my sword intent and aura had condensed so much sword that they appeared like water.

I can transform it at will; however, it takes so much practice and even energy to do that. So in situations like this, I merely drown the opponent, leaving their breath and body to the agonizing sharpness of the sword sea.”

Colins smiled and replied, “It took me 7,000 years to comprehend it. This is the initial form of my sword realm. I am sure by now, after it had become a sword domain since I am a Sword God, it would have already undergone so many changes.”

“That is awesome,” Jest said before sitting in a lotus posture.

“I will keep moving it, deactivating and reactivating it till you can comprehend it.”

Jest nodded and started watching as the sword sea was moved around, transformed, and deactivated, only to be reactivated over and over again.

Minutes went by, but Jest remained seated, his expression calm, gaze fixed on the sword sea. Soon, an hour went by, but he was still seated.

“Do you think he can comprehend it?” a disciple asked his friend, since they all could see what Jest was doing.

“There is no telling if he can do it, but the fact that he has already comprehended two sword realms, I believe he can do this, too. Though I wonder if he would be able to use it.”

“This is the sword realm of a Sword Emperor. If anything, that alone is to show you that comprehending it and using it are two different things.”

“The kid has already done the impossible many times already, so there is no need to even think about whether he can use it. I say comprehending it is the most important thing here.”

“What a monster.”

Two hours passed in the blink of an eye, yet Jest remained seated, his expression calm. He was already focused to the point that even if he was attacked from behind, he wouldn’t be able to do anything.

“You can deactivate it now. I have already comprehended it.”

Colins looked at him for a few seconds before doing as he was told. “Can I see it?” he asked.

“Of course.” Jest raised his sword, and then, as if a dam broke open, a sea of swords appeared behind him, surging so violently that it rose several kilometers high into the air.

Colin could only stare at Jest in shock. It took him thousands of years to comprehend it, yet he did it in only two and a half hours.

That is next-level genius.

“Maybe you indeed have the makings of a Sword Celestial.” He smiled, then waved his hand, opening a portal to the fifth level.

“Thank you for allowing me to comprehend your sword realm. It is very complex and full of potential. I will be sure to make good use of it.”

“The dream is one day to reach the peak like you, so I guess I went all out, and it paid off quite well.”

“That it did, and for one, I am impressed by what I have learned. I promise to learn from it, and one day when we meet, we will have a good battle.”

“I look forward to that day also.”

Jest had now passed the fourth floor, and so he had to advance to the fifth floor. But before that, there was something he wanted to know.

“I have a question, if you don’t mind.”

“Go ahead and ask.”

“How vast is the gap between a Sword Emperor and a Sword Divine?” Since he would be facing a Sword Divine next, he planned on learning something about them.

“All I can say is that from the Sword King to the Sword Monarch stage, it all has to do with one’s understanding of their sword realm.

The next stages are, of course, the Sword Legend and finally Sword Immortal, where the final stages of becoming a sword god start.

However, between the Sword King and Sword Divine stages, know that it is all about one’s understanding of their sword realm and the divine sword energy.”

Jest stood confused, but a part of him also had gained some understanding. “So in simple terms, a Sword King can fight a Sword Emperor because we both use Heavenly Sword Aura. However, the moment we move to the Sword Divine stage, not even a Sword Emperor with level nine heavenly sword energy can contend with them.”

“That about sums everything up.”

“Damn.”

Colin smiled, a bit amused by the look on Jest’s face. If forming his sword realm was already demanding, then how hard would it be when it came to advancing it?

“A word of advice, though: don’t expect so much from the fifth floor. The swordsman there is a powerful Sword Divine with level three Divine Sword Energy (Aura and Intent), so if you manage to defend against even a single sword strike from him, call yourself a genius among geniuses.”

“That serious, huh?” Jest smiled. He had already seen what Colin was capable of, so he knew challenging a Sword Divine was just asking for too much.

If Colin had used his sword realm, even with the Broken Sword Realm and the Light Swords Realm at his disposal, it wouldn’t have been enough to survive even a single attack from him.

So, facing a Sword Divine was just out of his league.
