Pregnant Cultivator, Doted by Big Boss

Chapter 523 - 521: Perfect, Truly Perfect

Chapter 523: Chapter 521: Perfect, Truly Perfect

Javier Sinclair hovered in the air, his gaze fixed on the hammer that had shrunk to fit in his hand. He studied the small hammer, turning it gently between his fingers.

The hammer was pitch-black, with golden patterns flowing across its surface, imbued with an ancient, mysterious power. His gaze fell upon the handle, where he saw the name "Clearwind" carved into it.

The hammer was indeed a Divine Artifact, albeit a low-level one.

He found that the hammer’s attack power wasn’t particularly strong; its defensive power, on the other hand, was astonishing. A hammer was supposed to be a combat-oriented Magic Artifact. ’For it to possess such incredible defensive capabilities... no wonder this place is shielded, forming a world of its own. The one who forged this hammer probably wanted to create a Divine Weapon balanced in both offense and defense, but they must have accidentally maxed out its defensive power.’

Thinking this, he spoke aloud. "It is indeed a Divine Artifact. Its attack power isn’t very strong, but its defensive power is quite impressive—comparable to two layers of a High-level City Defense Array. Let’s leave it here. It’s still perfectly good for defense."

As he spoke, he gave a light wave of his hand. The hammer flew from his grasp, slowly descending toward the ground. In an instant, it sank into the sacrificial altar and vanished.

His gaze shifted to the sacrificial altar as he formed a hand seal. He turned his palm downward, making a gentle rotating motion. At that very moment, glowing patterns lit up on several of the altar’s stone pillars. He had directly altered the Array.

When Javier Sinclair retracted his hand, a Transfer Passage materialized out of thin air between the stone pillars of the altar.

For anyone else, this would have been an impossible task. For Javier Sinclair, however, creating a simple Transfer Passage was a trivial matter.

He spoke, "Now that this Transfer Passage is here, you can come and go as you please."

Nerida’s expression remained calm as she looked at the newly appeared Transfer Passage. She had long been aware of The Exalted One’s power; creating a passage so casually was perfectly normal to her. But while Nerida found it unremarkable, Aeron, who stood beside her, stared wide-eyed, his jaw nearly hitting the floor.

’This Exalted One... just where did such a mighty being come from?’

He had sacrificed the aura of half his Cultivation just to barely open a passage for a single moment. Yet this man had casually altered the Array and created a Transfer Passage—a permanent one that wouldn’t disappear.

And then there was the Silvanis Clan’s Clearwind Hammer.

That was a Divine Artifact.

Even the most powerful of Cultivators, upon acquiring such an item, would hesitate to return it, perhaps even try to claim it as their own. Yet The Exalted One had merely glanced at it before tossing it back and even reinforcing the Array for them. It was as if a Divine Artifact was nothing more than a common trinket, not a rare treasure at all.

Aeron looked toward the Transfer Passage and couldn’t help but grab Nerida’s hand. He whispered, "Wife, I’m not dreaming, am I? That’s a Transfer Passage, a passage to the outside world."

Nerida glanced sideways at him and gave a slight nod.

She said, "Mm, it’s a Transfer Passage. There’s no need to be so surprised. The Exalted One’s Cultivation is immense. A simple Transfer Passage is child’s play for him."

’Just creating a Transfer Passage? That’s really nothing. I personally witnessed The Exalted One display his divine might, mending the void and perfecting the Great Dao. The memory of that scene is still fresh in my mind, even now.’

Javier Sinclair had saved Aeron and created a Transfer Passage for Silvanis. His gaze then swept over the pair, resting on Nerida as he spoke. "Nerida, return soon. I will be leaving now. After you get out of here, go directly to the Demonic Domain to find us."

As he finished speaking, the phantom image in the air vanished in an instant, leaving not a single trace of his aura behind. It was as if he had never appeared at all.

Javier Sinclair had not revealed his true form, so when his phantom image appeared, only Nerida and Orion Ashwood, who were here at the sacrificial altar, had seen him.

Nerida placed a hand over her heart and bowed.

"Farewell, Exalted One."

Aeron, standing beside her, came to his senses and followed suit, placing a hand over his heart and bowing.

"Farewell, Exalted One."

「After Javier Sinclair left.」

Nerida and Aeron looked at each other and smiled.

Aeron stepped forward and embraced her, filled with the profound relief of having survived a catastrophe. "Nerida, it feels so good to hold you like this again. You know, I really thought I was going to die."

His original plan was to sacrifice half his Cultivation to send Nerida away. He would then remain here, living out his days with his memories of her. He would spend the rest of his life as a diligent Young Master, caring for his mother and father until his own life reached its end. He just never expected that an accident would cause a backlash, nearly killing him here.

Thankfully, The Exalted One had suddenly appeared and saved him. To be able to hold Nerida in his arms again like this made him truly happy.

"Nerida, I want to be with you forever."

Nerida nodded slightly.

"Mm."

He hugged her tighter.

"Just one word? Aren’t you excited? You’re not reacting at all."

Nerida moved her hand from the small of his back to rest between his shoulder blades, her voice dropping to a low whisper. "What kind of reaction were you hoping for, husband?"

"Wife, have you fallen out of love with me?"

She pushed him back slightly, then her hand shot out, grabbing his sash and pulling him close again. "Why don’t I show you just how much I love you?"

The words had barely left her lips when Aeron felt himself being forced back. The next moment, she had him pinned against a nearby stone pillar. Her grip on his collar was strong. He had no choice but to yield to her.

She kissed him.

After the kiss, Nerida leaned in and bit his neck, leaving a mark that was uniquely hers. "You’re mine now."

Aeron blushed and nodded.

’My Nerida... she’s so forceful.’

’I like it a lot.’

Her intense possessiveness, especially right now, made him feel incredibly secure. At this thought, he placed his hands on Nerida’s waist, gently rested his forehead against hers, and said with a slight smile, "Then hold on tight, wife, and never let me go."

For all of eternity, he wanted only to be with Nerida. The world outside was so vast, and he wanted to see it with her.

As Aeron looked at Nerida, his plans for the future were already taking shape in his mind.

’I’m definitely going to spend my life with Nerida, which means I can’t continue as the Young Master. It looks like it’s time for my mother and father to get busy and give me a little brother or sister. That way, Silvanis will have a new heir, and I’ll be free to do what I want.’

’I know very well I’m not suited to be the Crown Prince. If I were to take the throne, I probably wouldn’t be able to bring prosperity to my people. What I long for is freedom, and Cultivation.’

’Now, cultivating alongside Nerida, the long path to immortality won’t be a lonely one.’

He smiled at the thought.

Nerida raised an eyebrow.

"What are you smiling about?"

He held her hand and said softly, "I was just thinking... I’m not suited to be the Young Master of Silvanis. I can’t bear the responsibility."
