Chapter 1969 Chapter 1961: Swift Accumulation (1)

"ARGHHHH!!!" A pained howl thundered from above, spine-chilling and piercing to the soul. A deathly scream followed, abruptly ended by a sharp series of harsh cracking sounds. Wei Wuyin's gaze shifted away from the Tower of Gaia in the distance, focusing on one of the globes up above. The globe was small, enough to fit a room dedicated to forging, and it steamed with an inky black smoke while covered in cracks.

The moment his attention was drawn towards it, the globe fragmented into countless tiny shards of solidified light and crumbled apart into a luminous dust. A figure fell from the sky. Some looked at the falling figure with indifference or curiosity, others outright ignored its existence and continued on their way.

-Thud.

The figure slammed harshly on the surface, splatting across the ground, echoing out the very brief sound of flesh meeting earth. It was lifeless-a corpse. Wei Wuyin observed it from a distance, sensing the chaotic energies emanating from it that tore apart its cultivation base so thoroughly that crippling would be a generous description. The chaotic energies manifested as smoky light emitting from its pores, scarring its flesh beyond recognition.

"A Forger?" Wei Wuyin could sense the air of a heated furnace and a metallic aura. This person followed the Dao of Forging, specifically in the art of crafting armaments. Likely weapons. His cultivation level was not low either compared to the field-a Timelord. The range of cultivation bases across those traveling around was far lower than the Stellar Battlefield of War. However, he understood why.

Unlike battle under restrictive conditions such as the overwhelming pressure and spiritual suppression, the advantages of Creationists were in their skill, not their cultivation base. Wei Wuyin was the premier example of skill and methods triumphing over cultivation as an Alchemist. After all, he was a genuine Heavenly Saint Alchemist as a Soul of Mysticism Phase cultivator! Due to this differentiation of standards, the Stellar Battlefield of Order was less concerned about cultivation level.

The corpse lay there, abandoned and ignored by passersby. Not even looting was done. This sight was food for thought as he watched all of this unfold. He turned to see a group of seven women exit from a globe of white tens of miles away, brought down by a gentle external force. When they landed, they were all exhausted, yet only some heaviness in their breaths and a few pale countenances were evidence of a struggle.

After they left, they talked for a bit before dispersing. A single figure was vehemently thankful. She discreetly traded a few seventh-grade Mortal-Rank elixirs with a smile before rushing off.

"There's a union of women here," Magus noted curiously. This was something that Wei Wuyin realized too. These women had marks on the back of their hands. They all depicted a maroon-colored lily. Additionally, the lilies exuded thin threads of mental energy. It was a Mental Formation that could execute transmissions, bypassing the spiritual suppression of the area.

He caught wisps of mental energy flowing here and there; the vast majority were between women. Meanwhile, the men were alone. Rarely did he see a formation on them, and while some had a similar formation, they were in different places or different shapes. This was quite peculiar.

Wei Wuyin focused on the numerous globes above, "So those are the Globes of Creation." According to the information he received, they each contained subspaces that inhabit a unique space. Those up above were a mixture of permanent and fleeting. For example, the seven women earlier had departed from a fleeting Globe of Creation, the trial stage that simultaneously acted as a battleground for Creationists. When they left, it peacefully vanished without a trace. Unlike the globe where the ruined corpse originated from.

However, some globes were affixed to the sky, larger, brighter, and thicker than others. These were permanent Globes of Creation. They tied heavily into the United path and the Independent path for Creationists.

"Will one come to us?" Ori asked Athena eagerly. As a Heavenly War Spirit, Ori kept seeking answers from her. Shockingly, Athena was fairly ignorant of the details. She couldn't recall any of the essential information that she held when she was the overseer of the Stellar Battlefield of War. It was clear she was scrubbed prior to acquisition. She couldn't even recall any participants who had exchanged War Souls with her.

Wei Wuyin knew that this was a non-essential memory. She was a complete being, only the extraneous portions of her were erased, including information about the Battlefield. This was why he had to rely on external channels of information. Moreover, it was likely a safeguard. The overseer understood the intricate details of functionality of the entire Battlefield of Order & War, so leaving those things within her was asking for trouble down the line.

At the very least, from merging with Wei Wuyin, receiving a name, they both sensed she was complete, untempered with, and unaffected by anyone else's will. If they didn't try to scheme against the future owner of a Heavenly War Spirit, then that showcased their fair benevolence. But Wei Wuyun was doubtful. Simply put, Athena's development was unprecedented. Still, he decided to be vigilant and keep her presence hidden for now.

"We haven't received an Identity Rune yet, so no." Wei Wuyin answered as he looked to see Tilly rushing back. She was bouncing over, ignoring everyone here as she darted towards him. She had made haste.

When she landed, her eyes were shining as she held out a pristine white jade prism etched with jet-black runic characters roughly the size of a chicken egg. It bore a strong resemblance to his Identity Rune for the Stellar Battlefield of War back then. However, as he grabbed the Identity Rune, he inspected the markings that he had once mistakenly assumed were mystic runes, realizing they were Soul-type Resonance Runes known as Anima Runes.

He had seen some of them etched onto, not only his Bloodline Energies and physical cells, but on the Resonant Souls of Supreme Sages and Dominions. They could communicate with souls and heavens or interact with them. The Identity Rune also acted as a housing unit for War Souls to facilitate trade.

It seemed to be so invaluable that everyone possessed one. More importantly, it could be taken out and kept. He had thought they were mystic runes initially due to his Mystic Runes experiencing subtle, foundational, and structural changes due to his Anima-Devourer Bloodline. From the beginning, it was always active, shaping his cultivation base and influencing his development.

Oddly, he thought of his Mystic Souls' sentience...

Before he could think further on that subject, Tilly stepped closer as her eyes searched for his roaming gaze. She seemed to be eagerly seeking to grab his attention.

"Hm? What is it?" He asked with a smile.

She took a step back and brushed a loose follicle of hair behind her ear, eyeing him. "I don't...do that with just anyone, you know," she seemed urgent to clear her name as a potential loose woman. Wei Wuyin couldn't help but chuckle. "I never thought you did."

His Bloodline of Sin: Pride stirred with activity due to conquering her heart with some effort despite her selective nature. She was not a virgin, but her partners were few and far between, not having a partner in the last thousand years out of principle and self-restraint. She fell into lust. And that's why his Bloodline of Sin: Lust roused as well.

'Conquest and temptation,' Wei Wuyin could only begrudgingly accept these triggers. Fortunately, he didn't have to indulge in either. He was fully able to restrain himself before temptation with absolute clarity of mind. If not, Yue Songli and Wei Xiaotian would have long since been tossed and turned into breathless ecstasy for months on end. As for his pride, he was an Exploitative Blessed.

He saw beyond himself.

He had to.

"Do I have a tent here?" Wei Wuyin asked lightly. Immediately, Tilly blushed with rampant imagination.

"Do you mean?" Her voice trailed off.

Wei Wuyin bonded with the Identity Rune while she indulged in her thoughts. Information poured into his mind, including the basic details of the Battlefield of Order. As he did so, a glassy Globe of Creation was born above his sky. It was incredibly small, about one meter in radius, and extremely dim. He followed the method inscribed, and a wisp of his Alchemical Energy flowed into the jade.

The glassy globe illuminated in seven-colored light. It was now tethered to him. Furthermore, he could sense about ten thousand life auras from within the globe. These life auras were the Neo-Byr Legion. They were all vibrant and alive.

"You, uhm. You need to establish your own tent. This is a live environment, so being low-key might serve you well." Tilly shook off her thoughts to showcase her demeanor as an Entry Moderator. Then, she added, "All those you see here are part of Gaia. If you see any not bearing the forty-fourth earthly aura you now possess, then they're your enemies in the Stellar Battlefield. Beware."

The Inner Stellar Battlefield of Order was known as Gaia, the Outer Stellar Battlefield of Order was known as Selene, and the Nexus Stellar Battlefield of Order was known as Eos. When a Creationist arrives, they are assigned to one of 3,000 regions. Wei Wuyin was listed as a part of the 44th, and his Identity Rune after attunement exuded a distinct earthly aura shared amongst all those present.

Wei Wuyin listened to the name and looked at his Identity Rune. He thought for a moment, and then he vanished from Tilly's eyes. Her bulging eyes were about to elude a shocked shriek when Wei Wuyin reappeared. He glanced above. His Globe of Creation had followed him at equal speed.

He now knew where the true Battlefield lay: ABOVE.

"You..."

"We're in the Lower Tectonic Zone, correct?" Wei Wuyin asked.

Tilly was so shaken she subconsciously defaulted, answering: "Yes."

"And if I want to launch an attack against the enemy? Am I free to do so?" Wei Wuyin asked.

"Uh. To do so, you just have to travel far enough in any direction for direct conflict. Unlike the Battlefield of War, the regions in the Battlefield of Order are clearly demarcated after years of calculated conflict. Periodically, there are wars launched via the Tower of Gaia, but most are too busy slowly accumulating War Soul merit through surviving the random trials and trying to survive."

Wei Wuyin was keenly aware that the Battlefield hated friendly conflict, especially after Guan Yu and so many others were under the threat of eradication due to their actions in the Nexus Battlefield. So those in the 44th

shouldn't be touched.

"So to declare war, any Tower of Gaia?"

She nodded, "As long as you go to a tower, you can launch an assault on any region. Except for that tower, that's your 44th Tower. You're to defend it against any enemy seeking to destroy its floors. If a coordinated strike destroys a floor within the tower, the latent dangers within that region will skyrocket, including the ferocity of Chaos Descent. These Towers can be considered bases that protect Creationists."

Wei Wuyin got the gist of it. He turned to Tilly, "Do you have to leave soon?"

Tilly's eyes brightened. She shook her head. She was an Entry Moderator, but she was quite literally one of many. Unless she was specifically called upon, she could dawdle about for months without any issue. However, she was an Impartial Entity. She couldn't help any side beyond her station's description lest she suffer immediate execution.

"Perfect. Let's go," Wei Wuyin walked to the east.

"Go? Go where?" Tilly followed along yet still asked.

"To declare war-"

War?! Tilly's heart began racing.

"-and win!" Wei Wuyin's eyes illuminated with the golden radiance of war. Unbeknownst to the Battlefield of

Order, a defiant paragon unafraid of Heaven, Hell, and Unseen Divinities had arrived.

And havoc was on the horizon!
