Chapter 600: Great Buddha Thousand-Armed Nuclear Explosion!

Chapter 600: Chapter 600: Great Buddha Thousand-Armed Nuclear Explosion!

Thanos was hammered deep into the ruins, leaving a massive crater in the earth. Before the shattered debris had even settled, Garp stepped down heavily, grinding his boot onto him, his fists swinging even faster and harder.

"Come on, Grimace! Get up and show me what you got!"

Blood poured from Thanos’s mouth. The scattered fragments of the gauntlet were still glowing, and just as he tried to summon the power of the stones, Whitebeard dropped another devastating tremor strike, brutally crushing whatever momentum Thanos had managed to muster right back into the bottom of the crater.

"You unreasonable... lunatics..." Thanos’s chest heaved violently, his eyes swimming with ultimate humiliation and rage.

Akainu stood at the edge of the crater, plunging the blade of Ryujin Jakka downward. Lethal, superheated flames poured through the fissures like a raging river.

"Shut up. Lie down and take it."

Kizaru hovered in midair, having casually snagged the severed gauntlet. He weighed it lazily in his hand.

"My, my, this thing is actually quite warm. I suppose I’ll do you a favor and hold onto it for you."

Thanos glared at him, his face completely black with soot and fury.

"You dare touch it?"

"I’m already touching it, aren’t I?" Kizaru slung the gauntlet over his shoulder. "If you have a problem with it, you can crawl up here and take it back yourself."

Garp laughed maniacally, throwing another crushing punch.

"I’m on a roll today! Nobody interrupt me! You hear me, Thanos?!"

A muffled, suffocating groan rolled out of Thanos’s throat. The residual fluctuations of the stones were completely scattered by this gang of brutes. But right at that moment, the edge of the battlefield suddenly fell completely silent.

It was an extremely brief silence, so abrupt it felt as if someone had intentionally muted the entire world.

Imu raised her eyes.

She had remained motionless, hovering in the air, her red ki aura swirling violently around her body. But her gaze wasn’t fixed on Thanos.

She was locked onto Hela.

The Power Stone in Hela’s palm was pulsing erratically. The purple light had already charred half her arm black, only for her Death Magic to continuously force the flesh to heal. When she noticed Imu staring, a sinister smirk crept onto her face.

"Finally lost your patience?"

Imu didn’t answer. Her body suddenly blurred into a streak of crimson, charging straight out of the melee.

Hela’s expression drastically changed.

She had just used the bulk of her power to suppress the half-floating island that Golden Lion Shiki had dragged over, and her right arm hadn’t completely recovered. The massive, crumbling island above her head was constantly tilting, huge boulders and steel girders raining down and preventing her from focusing. And in that split second of distraction, Imu was already upon her.

"Trying to steal the stone?" Hela raised her hand, instantly firing a frantic blast of purple energy.

The instant the Power Stone’s beam left her hand, Imu closed the distance and threw her palms out to meet it head-on.

Boom!

The core of the ruins abruptly sank. The ground detonated outright, and several surrounding city blocks were instantly flattened. Steel wreckage was launched into the air, only to be completely atomized by the terrifying shockwave that followed.

Garp paused his beatdown, turning to look.

"Tch, women fight pretty dirty too."

Whitebeard grinned, though his eyes darkened significantly.

"That’s not a normal fight. She’s going for the stone."

"Obviously," Akainu said coldly. "If she gets her hands on it, we’re dealing with an even bigger problem."

Hela was forced back half a step by the shockwave, the purple light in her right palm flaring violently. Her face turned as cold as frost.

"You dare sneak attack a god?!"

Imu lifted her head. Her hair whipped wildly in the gale, but her eyes remained entirely devoid of emotion.

"Things like gods... are a dime a dozen."

The red light in her palms compressed to its absolute limit. The next second, as if she were incinerating her own life force, she thrust both hands forward.

"Tri-Beam."

The crimson pillar of light erupted with a deafening roar, slamming directly into the destructive purple beam of the Power Stone.

Hela’s arms violently shook, the ruins beneath her feet collapsing in swathes. She hadn’t expected Imu’s power to actually hold its ground against the Power Stone. For the first time, a trace of shock flickered across her face.

"You’re burning your own life?!"

"That’s none of your concern," Imu said icily. "Hand over the stone."

Hela sneered, her teeth bared in chilling bloodlust.

"In your dreams."

She forced the Power Stone deeper, the purple light exploding outwards, physically pushing the crimson beam back. The epicenter where the two forces clashed continuously detonated, shredding the surrounding skyscraper debris into dust and peeling the earth back layer by layer.

The Mirror Dimension below trembled violently, dense spiderwebs of cracks surfacing across its boundary.

Everyone engaged in combat paused.

Shiki stood on a floating rock in midair, a cigar clamped in his mouth, laughing with absolute arrogance.

"Jihahaha! Now things are getting interesting! Hela, if you get robbed of your precious stone, don’t blame me for not warning you!"

The corner of Hela’s eye twitched violently.

"Keep running your mouth, and I’ll dismantle your pile of floating trash first!"

"Bring it on!" Shiki waved his hand, and half the floating island plummeted, massive boulders hurtling directly toward Hela’s head.

Already irritated by the deadlock with Imu, Shiki’s interference pushed Hela’s fury past the boiling point.

"You’re asking for death!"

She shattered the ground with a vicious kick, sweeping a wave of purple light that blasted the falling island debris away.

But in that very instant, a muffled, cataclysmic boom echoed from the sky above the battlefield.

Thud!

It sounded like a primordial behemoth crashing into the earth.

Everyone looked up.

A sky-blotting, dark-gold Great Buddha descended from the heavens. A thousand massive arms unfurled simultaneously, eclipsing half the sky. Sengoku stood atop the Buddha’s head, Sage chakra churning wildly around him, his face even darker than usual.

"All of you, stand down!"

No one paid him any attention.

The veins on Sengoku’s forehead throbbed wildly as he slammed his palms together.

"Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands!"

Ten thousand colossal arms, carrying world-ending momentum, crashed down. Infused with pure Senjutsu and Wood Release power, they violently plunged right into the epicenter of Imu and Hela’s clash.

Hela’s pupils shrank.

"Another one?!"

Imu’s brow furrowed deeply.

"Sengoku."

Standing at the pinnacle of the Great Buddha, Sengoku glared down at the two of them, his voice booming like a massive bell.

"If either of you wants that stone, you have to ask if the pride of the Marines allows it first!"

Down below, Garp burst into booming laughter.

"Sengoku! You old fossil, you actually made it in time!"

"Shut your mouth!" Sengoku roared back at him. "Beat Thanos to death before you say another word!"

Garp looked down at the half-dead Thanos in the crater, then up at the apocalyptic three-way energy clash in the sky, raising a fist to scratch his chin.

"Oh, right. I’ll just finish him off real quick, then."

Lying in the crater, Thanos nearly choked on another mouthful of old blood upon hearing this.

"You... you all deserve to die..."

Akainu snorted coldly, twirling the blade in his hand.

"You’ll die soon enough. Wait your turn."

Just as he spoke, Sengoku’s thousand Buddha arms smashed directly into Imu and Hela’s power.

Red light. Purple light. Golden light.

Without a single moment of hesitation, the three energies detonated at the absolute core of the battlefield.

BOOM!

The entire ruin was blasted into the sky. A devastating shockwave swept in all directions, completely atomizing the remaining Chitauri forces fighting in the distance. The churning clouds high above were torn open, leaving a massive void in the sky. The Mirror Dimension fractured rapidly, looking as if it would completely shatter at any moment.

Hela was knocked back several steps by the tremor, a harsh trail of blood finally spilling from her lips.

She stared dead at Imu, a hint of wariness finally joining the rage in her eyes.

"Who exactly are you?"

Imu stood in the center of the ruins, her red aura burning even fiercer, though her face had grown a shade paler.

"Someone who dislikes others stealing things."

Sengoku stood atop the Great Buddha, his chest heaving, his tone extremely hostile.

"If you ask me, neither of you gives a damn about the rules."

Garp grinned broadly.

"Sengoku, you sound like a good guy when you say things like that."

"Shut your mouth!" The veins on Sengoku’s forehead pulsed wildly.

Kizaru yawned off to the side, casually stuffing the damaged gauntlet into his pocket.

"My, my, the spectacle just keeps getting bigger. I suddenly feel like my overtime pay needs to be doubled for this."

Whitebeard hoisted Murakumogiri, laughing with arrogant disdain.

"Forget about doubling your pay! Let’s beat these two thieves into submission before we talk about anything else!"

Hearing this, Hela swept an icy glare across the group.

"Do you honestly think surrounding me will be enough to stop me?"

Imu raised her hand, the red light in her palm surging wildly once more.

"Try it and find out."

Watching the crumbling space around them, Sengoku’s expression sank to the absolute bottom.

"Stop wasting time! If we drag this out any longer, this entire area is going to be wiped off the map!"

Before his words even finished, the Great Buddha beneath Sengoku’s feet raised its massive arms once again. A thousand hands plummeted simultaneously, pressing down on Hela and Imu with the crushing weight of Mount Tai.

At the exact same time, Hela hoisted the Power Stone high, a pillar of purple light piercing the heavens.

Imu frantically burned her life force, her crimson Tri-Beam surging upward to crush everything in its path.

The next instant, the three forces utterly detonated in the heart of New York.

A colossal mushroom cloud erupted into the sky.

The entire battlefield was forcefully swallowed whole.
