Chapter 2649: Four Cardinal Divine Beast Revival

“If our sister is ready then all shrine maidens should form the circle!” The Seer of the Vermillion Bird stated as all of the shrine maidens formed a circle while holding talismans.

The talismans being held by the shrine maidens have depictions of the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts. All of the talismans have the image of the divine beasts in their respective directions. The ink used for the talisman is even gold as only something as pure as it could create the sealing barrier to gather the elements of each direction.

“What about me? I do not have a physical body to do the ceremony?” The Seer of the Azure Dragon asked.

“Please use my body as a vessel, sister.” The trainee shrine maiden from the Azure Dragon stated.

All of the shrine maidens that remained alive in the faction of the Azure Dragon are all trainees. The one that presented herself to be the vessel is the one that has the most spirituality among all of them. Adrian himself picked her despite her not being the most talented of the trainees. What they need is a shrine maiden that can house the soul of the Seer of the Azure Dragon without difficulties.

“Thank you, brave sister. Once this is all over, I shall pass you all the knowledge that our sisters will need to learn. Be the teacher for the next generation as you will need to be the protectors of our master.” The Seer of the Azure Dragon stated.

“I will try my best not to let you down.” The trainee shrine maiden stated even though she was trembling all over.

“You shall do great. I believe in you.” The Seer of the Azure Dragon stated as she then entered the body of the trainee shrine maiden.

The trainee shrine maiden that was shivering suddenly became solemn. Her entire aura changed to that of dignity and grace with a fierce spark in her eyes. The Seer of the Azure Dragon managed to borrow the body of the trainee shrine maiden without any problems. The compatibility was so fluid that there was not even a rejection.

“Should we recruit that trainee to our side? The elders of the church have been nagging me to find talented beings as it seems we are also short in good clergy on our side.” Levin Cloud stated as a powerful spirituality is needed for clergy of the Church of the Twin Gods.

“She is already where she wants to belong. She already sacrificed this much. Do you think she will switch deities just because you asked nicely?” Adrian teased.

“Good point. Shushh! It is starting!” Levin Cloud stated as he attempted to silence Adrian when he was the one talking.

Adrian paid it no mind as his gaze wandered off to the ceremony that the seers would do. All four of them placed the ’cores’ of the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts in the middle of the altar. The egg of the Vermillion Bird is placed facing south. The orb of the Azure Dragon is facing the east while the fang of the White Tiger is facing the east. Lastly, the black turtle shell of the Black Tortoise is facing the north.

All four of the seers then bowed to one another as if they were acknowledging the presence of each other. When all of them raised their heads, the clothes that they wore suddenly slowly changed as well. All of the seers are suddenly veiled in their respective colors while wearing exquisite ceremonial outfits that reflect their master.

The Seer of the Black Tortoise of the North is wearing an all-black outfit that is flowy as water but decorated with ice shards that made her look cold and distant. The Seer of the Azure Dragon is dressed up in an all-blue outfit that is made of mesh to mimic the transparency of the clouds while also having sharp crystals as ornaments. The sharp crystal ornaments are to symbolize the lightning that the Azure Dragon could wield.

The Seer of the White Tiger of the West has an interesting design in her ceremonial outfit as it is made of white gold metal thread with black stripes. Parts of her outfit is also decorated with sharp fangs made of gold and silver. The Seer of the Vermillion Bird of the South is different as well because her outfit made her look like she was bathing in flames while wearing golden bangles in her neck, arms, and feet.

All of the seers then performed a dance that flowed gracefully with the elements. With each of their coordinated movement, the world itself looked like it was flowing with them. The elements in the area stirred up as a powerful elemental storm is now being created outside. This elemental storm is gentle and slow though as if it is just watching over the entire area and waiting for its chance to give back.

The seers danced in a circle and moved in a clockwise direction before stopping back to their original position. As soon as they returned to their original position, the seers then proceeded to sing a hymn. The hymn was so beautiful and soothing that all those that heard it had their status ailments and even fatigue removed. Once all four seers harmonized, they all performed the dance once more as the magic circle to revive the four divine beasts has been carved onto the ground.

Adrian’s eyes could not believe it as a golden magic circle became etched onto the ground. His inner scribe wanted to capture it right now, but he did not want to disturb the ceremony. All of those around them were all awestruck of what is happening as the elements harmonized and danced in the air.

When everything has fully harmonized, the talismans that the other shrine maidens were holding finally activated. The talismans absorbed the harmonized elemental energy and then fused with the golden magic circle. All four cores of the divine beasts then floated in the air as all of them started to devour the harmonized elemental energy.
