Chapter 2535: The Last Blood Queen’s Location I
“It seems that everyone understands. Let us start with the meeting agenda.” Adrian stated as he sat on the guild master’s throne and exuded his aura entirely because dealing with old beings that think they are the absolute is not easy.
“I will handle the first part, brother.” Solstice whispered as she started to flash some images of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha.
“I think all of you can now feel it, but I have already defeated Bathory and absorbed her family’s power. I am one step away from achieving the task that I have been told to do but I will need the help of every vampire family.” Solstice stated.
The real reason why Solstice led the hunt against the crazed blood queens is due to the fact that members of the vampire council do not like her. They said that she was not truly like them because she cannot die permanently. The only way to gain recognition for vampires is to create feats that even the other elders cannot easily do.
“The council has discussed that you cannot call for our help. You may be able to get the help from your family, but you were warned that you should not drag us along. You even took on the help of a demon when you know that we have a pact of avoidance against them.” One of the vampire council members stated.
“If it were not for me then that Pact would have been dissolved because none of you were able to deal with the other crazed blood queens. I had to pick up what all of you cannot do so all of you do not have a right to judge on the methods that I employ.” Solstice stated.
“To give you context, I helped in my own volition which is outside the pact. Also, the demons only agreed to ignore the situation with vampires as long as all of you had it under control. The problem is that numerous humans are missing from the entire continent because of your carelessness. The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha also escaped because of your negligence.
You did not think that there could be a traitor in your midst. The most powerful crazed blood queen got unsealed as a result and even the creation relic of vampires was stolen under you. If the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha destroyed an entire kingdom by herself then we would have taken action as the pact would have become null and void.” Adrian stated bluntly.
The pact created between vampires and demons included special clauses that the two races would not interfere with one another. Unless the pact is broken with a vampire suddenly slaughtering numerous beings without any remorse. The demons would not have signed a pact like this without something equally heavy sacrificed by the vampires.
“If the pact gets voided then all of you will become slaves of the demons as per the contract. I believe that your perfect old brains of yours.” Adrian added that made the vampires become quiet and Solstice shocked as she did not know what the fine line of the contract was.
“Is that really true?” Solstice asked Adrian as she looked at him with great surprise.
“I only found out a few minutes ago when I searched for the pact created between our races. That pact also extends to the werewolves as well. It seems that the ones that signed it were the representatives of your two species. If something massive really does happen because of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha, then the vampires and the werewolves will have to serve the demons.” Adrian replied as the refreshments arrived but only, he was the one eating.
“I cannot believe that you were reckless enough to do that. Having too much pride has clouded your brains and now our entire race will become slaves because of the arrogance of the old generation.” Solstice stated as her head became incredibly angry, but she needed to focus on the task at hand.
“You were not even born yet back then, and you dare to judge us for the decision?! We are older than you which means you have to give us respect.” One of the rigid vampire council members stated as he pointed to Solstice.
“Your arrogance and respect mean nothing if all of us get reduced to slaves!” Solstice’s statement resonated with the other members of the council and made them feel ashamed.
“She makes a good point.” Lycan stated.
“Dude, your species is also part of the deal.” Adrian whispered.
“Can I get my father and some elders of my species for a moment?!” Lycan stated as he immediately went running towards a portal.
“Is there no way for the contract to become meaningless?” Solstice asked.
“Why are you so worried? It is not like Akasha has enough to do any harm.” One of the vampire council members stated.
“Did you not read the report that I gave you?” Solstice asked.
“We only came because your house called for a meeting which can only be exercised once every century by a family. You are even lucky that we agreed to meet you despite being busy.” Another rigid member of the vampire council stated.
“Can the contract be voided?” Solstice asked Adrian again.
“Yes, that could happen if both parties agree.” Adrian replied.
“But that would also mean that heavy punishment would befall those that initiated the pact. Unfortunately for you guys, the vampires and werewolves were the ones that started it.” Adrian added.
“What kind of punishment?” Solstice asked.
“Oh! Death of course. I think I shall excuse myself for a moment. I should let all of you sort these things out for now.” Adrian stated with a smile as he could see that his sister will explode.
As soon as Adrian vanished, the entire hall was filled with the curses of an angry Solstice. She even started to hit some of the vampire elders in anger. She became very violent as she kept a lot of things bottled up for too long.
