Chapter 1351 Crisis (Part 2)
Chapter 1351 Crisis (Part 2)
Evan stared at the two leaves showing Arora World and Earth, his eyes wide open, unable to understand why those two worlds were among the countless other worlds growing on the leaves of the World Tree.
“Could it be that all the lower-level worlds like Arora World and Earth were created by the World Tree?” He muttered with a frown, shifting his gaze to the other leaves covered in transparent bubbles, each revealing a different kind of world.
There were countless leaves on the colossal tree, and without exception, every single one held a different world.
Evan raised his head to look toward the top of the tree, but due to its immense size, he couldn’t see its end.
Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! – – – –
Though he couldn’t see the top, the strange attraction he had felt when he first saw the cave where the core of the World Tree was located returned once again, and his heart began to beat like a war drum.
Evan narrowed his eyes, and after a moment of hesitation, he made up his mind and flew upward— toward the top of the World Tree.
Now that his Void Law Seal had advanced significantly, his control over the power of the Void Law was exceptional.
With each step, he covered hundreds of thousands— or even millions of miles.
Yet even after ten full hours, the end of the World Tree remained out of sight.
“Damn, just how big is this thing?” He muttered under his breath and sighed inwardly.
Another five hours passed, and just when Evan was wondering whether he should continue, he finally saw a brilliant silver white light shining in the distance.
Evan eyes lit up when he saw this and he immediately pushed his movement speed to its absolute limit.
In just ten minutes, he neared the source of the silver white light and saw that it was a leaf—another part of the World Tree.
However, compared to the other leaves, the size of this one was hundreds of thousands of times larger.
Looking at the leaf enclosed in a transparent silver white bubble, Evan immediately recognized the world held within it.
“Utopia,” He said to himself, surprised that even Utopia was held within a leaf of the World Tree.
Earlier, he had assumed the World Tree only contained lower-level worlds such as Earth and Arora World so seeing Utopia here was really surprising for him.
But what surprised him even more was that the attraction he felt wasn’t coming from the silver-white leaf containing Utopia— it was coming from somewhere else.
Following the strange feeling, Evan turned his head to the side of the silver-white leaf and saw another leaf—one that was many times larger than the lower-level world leaves, but still smaller than the silver-white leaf.
The color of this leaf was different from all the others. Its outer edges were pitch black, while the inner area glowed with golden light, and in the center, a soft white light shone brightly.
Like the other leaves, it was also enclosed in a transparent bubble, and Evan instantly recognized the world displayed within it.
“World Domain.”
At first, to Evan, the World Domain had merely been a passage—a stop he passed through to reach Utopia.
But later, he realized that the World Domain was far more mysterious than he had initially thought.
Forget about other people—from what Evan had discovered so far, it seemed that no one in Utopia—including the rank six core evolvers knew about the existence of the World Domain.
Not even the people who had come from lower worlds and passed through the World Domain on their way to Utopia remembered it.
It was as if, the moment they left the World Domain, all of their memories of it were wiped away.
He had even asked Anastasia about the World Domain, but even she didn’t know anything.
What’s more, Evan clearly remembered that while he was inside the World Domain, his title—The Cursed One—had completely lost its effect, as if something within the Domain had erased it.
That incident had left a deep impression on him.
“Also, unlike others, I didn’t lose my memories of the World Domain after arriving in Utopia…”
Evan wasn’t sure if it was because of his title—The Owner of Eldoria City—that his memories had remained intact, or if there was another reason.
But one thing he was certain of—there was something very special about the World Domain.
After coming to Utopia, he had considered using the power of his title many times to return to the World Domain and find answers, but because of what had happened when he visited the Forbidden Land of Utopia, the power of his title had entered a cooldown period and was currently unusable.
Evan was still staring at the three colored leaf of the World Domain, its view showing the towering Tower of Ascension within it, when he suddenly noticed something unusual.
“This…” Evan narrowed his eyes and moved closer to the leaf.
“This leaf is actually completely separated from the World Tree.”
On the World Tree, there were countless leaves. But without exception, all of them— including the one holding Utopia were growing directly from one of the tree’s branches.
However, the leaf containing the World Domain was completely disconnected from the World Tree, as if someone had cut it off.
Though he wasn’t certain, Evan had a strong feeling that if it weren’t for the black, golden, and soft white lights enveloping the leaf, it would have withered long ago.
“Although my understanding is still very shallow, if I am not wrong, these three lights covering the leaf of the World Domain must be related to the concepts of death, life, and soul, respectively.”
Just as Evan was deep in thought, the silver white leaf holding Utopia trembled slightly.
Evan immediately turned his head to look at it and in the next instant, a familiar face emerged from within the leaf.
A face that made Evan’s skin crawl.
