Myth Beyond Heaven

Chapter 3105 - 3105: Epilogue (4)

The two stood frozen on the bustling street for a long moment, the clamor of the world around them seeming to fade into a distant hum. The shock of the shared dream was like an invisible wall, separating them from the ordinary flow of life.

Finally, Yun Lintian took a deep breath, forcing a calm he didn’t feel. He squeezed Xia Yao’s cold hand gently.

“Maybe… maybe it’s just a coincidence?” he said, his voice sounding weak even to his own ears. “We’ve probably both been under too much pressure studying lately, and we happened to watch similar movies or read similar books without realizing it.”

Xia Yao looked at him, her beautiful eyes still clouded with unease. She knew, just as he did, that this was no simple coincidence. The details were too precise, the emotions too vivid. But the alternative was too strange, too frightening to contemplate.

She nodded slowly, a hesitant agreement. “Yes… it must be a coincidence. Let’s… let’s not think about it anymore.”

A silent understanding passed between them. They would not delve deeper into this mystery, not now. It felt like poking a sleeping beast, an action that could bring unforeseen consequences.

They resumed their walk to school, their steps a little slower, their conversation a little more subdued. The carefree atmosphere from before had vanished, replaced by a thoughtful silence that hung between them.

High above them, hidden within the soft, white clouds, a group of extraordinary women watched the scene below. They stood effortlessly in the sky, their presence completely concealed from the mortal world.

The leader was Yun Qianxue. Her hair, once silver-white, was now a flowing, lustrous black, and her beauty was as breathtaking as ever, carrying an aura of timeless grace. Beside her stood a gathering of women who could make the stars themselves pale in comparison. Latest content published on Nov3lFre.et

There was Han Bingling, a woman of stunning, voluptuous figure, her long black hair cascading down her back like a waterfall of night. She was clad in elegant purple robes that hinted at both her power and her allure.

Next to her was Shen Liqiu, her demeanor lively and vibrant, her eyes sparkling with mischief. She was dressed in robes of fresh, leafy green, like a spirit of the spring forest.

Mu Qiuxue stood slightly apart, an ice-sculpted beauty whose aloof demeanor and cool blue robes seemed to bring a chill to the air around her. She was the epitome of serene, untouchable cold.

Hei Yue, a tall woman in a black robe, the daughter of the God of Darkness, stared at her “husband” below calmly. Although they hadn’t consummated yet, she was already his.

A petite girl with lively eyes and hair the color of new leaves flitted about. This was Qingqing, a wind spirit, her movements as light and airy as a breeze. A small, pure white tiger cub, Linlin, stood next to her.

Long Qingxuan, the dragon woman in human form, was tall and statuesque, her long black hair flowing like a river of ink, her beauty possessing a noble, majestic quality.

Lan Hanyu, the Ice Phoenix, stood with a gentle grace, her features soft and kind. Holding her hand was a little girl who looked about seven years old. She was unbearably cute, with big, curious eyes that were fixed on the scene below. This was Yun Xi, the daughter of Yun Lintian and Lan Hanyu.

Beside Yun Xi stood a slightly older, yet still petite, girl. She had an air of quiet wisdom about her. This was naturally Yue Yun, Yun Lintian’s first daughter.

Hongyue also stood beside her, looking at Yun Lintian below with a subtle smile.

Yun Ruanyu, Yun Qingrou, Yun Meilan, Yun Lingwei, Yun Huanxin, the elders of the Misty Cloud Sect were all here as well.

Behind them stood the Misty Cloud Sect’s disciples, Yang Chen, and the others.

Those who were supposed to be dead were all here. Alive and kicking again.

Shen Liqiu pouted, her lively eyes fixed on Yun Lintian and Xia Yao walking below.

“I’m so envious of Sister Yao, Sister Ningchang, Sister Lynn, and Sister Ling,” she sighed, a genuine note of longing in her voice. “They were born into this mortal world and get to experience a mortal life with him all over again.”

Yun Qianxue merely smiled, a knowing, gentle curve of her lips, but said nothing.

Han Bingling chuckled, a rich, melodious sound. “At this rate, with all these strange occurrences happening around him, he’ll recover his memories sooner or later anyway.” Their powerful senses had clearly overheard the entire conversation about the shared dream below.

Yun Xi, still holding her mother’s hand, tilted her head and asked in her clear, childish voice, “Mom, is that Daddy down there?”

Lan Hanyu nodded gently, her eyes soft as she looked at her daughter. “Yes, that’s him.”

Yun Xi blinked, her little face a picture of innocent confusion. “But… why is Daddy so weak?”

“Pfft!”

Her simple, honest question caused the group of powerful women to exchange amused glances, and soft laughter rippled through them. The contrast between the mighty sovereign they knew and the high school student below was indeed vast and somewhat humorous.

Down below, Yun Lintian walked beside Xia Yao, trying to shake off the lingering unease. As he stepped forward, the toe of his shoe accidentally kicked something small and metallic. It skittered across the pavement with a faint clink.

“Hmm?”

Curious, he bent down and picked it up.

It was a simple copper coin, old and worn, its surface smooth from years of handling. It looked utterly ordinary, a piece of forgotten change. Yet, the moment it touched his palm, a strange, indescribable feeling shot through him. It was familiar, deeply and profoundly familiar, like a key finding its lock after an eternity apart.

Suddenly, a jolt, like a powerful electric shock, surged from the coin through his arm and straight into his mind.

His entire body stiffened. His eyes lost focus for a split second, and then, a profound, ancient light ignited within their depths. Countless memories, sealed away by a mother’s ultimate sacrifice, came flooding back in an irresistible torrent. The battles, the losses, the love, the creation of a new universe, the final, desperate rewrite of fate—it all returned.

The Sovereign of a New Cosmos had awakened.

The change was instantaneous, though he masked it perfectly. The slight slouch in his posture straightened almost imperceptibly. The casual look in his eyes was replaced by a deep, knowing calm that held the weight of epochs.

Xia Yao, sensing his sudden stillness, looked at him strangely. “Lintian? What’s wrong?”

Yun Lintian—no, the being who was once again both Yun Lintian and the Creator—came back to himself. He turned to her and smiled, a smile that was both the smile of her teenage boyfriend and something infinitely more.

“It’s nothing,” he said, his voice calm and steady. He casually slipped the copper coin, the very Fate Inverted Coin that had sealed his memories and powers, into his pocket.

As he did so, his gaze, seemingly by chance, swept upward towards the patch of sky where his family was hidden. It was just a fleeting glance, so quick that Xia Yao didn’t notice anything amiss.

But in the clouds above, Han Bingling’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Could he be…?” she began, her voice trailing off in disbelief.

Yue Yun, his first daughter, curled her lips into a knowing, happy smile. “It seems,” she said, her voice filled with affection, “that Father has been well taken care of to the very end.”

The group of women glanced at each other, and a wave of understanding and profound relief passed between them. Smiles, warm and genuine, graced each of their faces. The long wait was over. The circle was complete.

Below, Yun Lintian took Xia Yao’s hand again.

“Come on,” he said, his voice gentle. “We’ll be late for school.”

He began walking forward, the simple high school student on the outside, but within, a universe-spanning sovereign, finally whole again.

The path ahead was no longer just the path to school; it was the beginning of a new chapter, one where his past and present were finally united.

The myth beyond heaven had found its way home…
