My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!

Chapter 915 - 916: I Want to Remember as Soon as Possible

He stood up and scooped her into his arms.

"Cousin, cousin—" Morgan tried to stop him.

"Help me take good care of Young Master Mo."

"Yes, yes, Young Master O’Connell, you just go ahead, we’ve got things covered here. Come on, Young Master Mo, let’s drink till we drop."

Cole O’Connell carried Yulia O’Connell out. In the wide backseat, his large hand kept stroking that rosy little face until the car was halfway down the road.

Yulia O’Connell suddenly sat up and pushed that big hand away.

"So you’ve learned to be smart now." Cole O’Connell narrowed his eyes.

Daring to fake being drunk in front of him.

"If I hadn’t pretended to be drunk, you wouldn’t have come out right now." Yulia O’Connell had already taken a sobering pill before she went in.

"You know me that well?" Cole O’Connell’s gaze fixed on her, deep and shadowed.

Yulia O’Connell straightened up. "Bro, I’ve thought it through. I’ll stay with you."

"So obedient?" Cole O’Connell lifted his brows slightly, his handsome features sharply defined.

"But you can’t go after Nathan Knight anymore!"

"Yulia O’Connell!" Cole O’Connell leaned over her, anger blazing. "Try saying one more word for him?"

"He already has nothing to do with me. Why won’t you let him go?" Yulia O’Connell stared straight into the man’s eyes. "I’ll cut him off completely, we won’t have any contact in the future. So you’d better promise me you won’t hurt him again!"

"Threatening me?" Cole O’Connell tightened his grip on her arm and hauled her into his chest. "Don’t want your freedom anymore, is that it?"

Yulia O’Connell shut her mouth and looked out the window. She couldn’t understand why Cole O’Connell cared so much about Nathan Knight’s existence.

Quinn Family.

Melody Thorne kept trying to watch those videos from inside Quinn Villa to recover her memory, but things didn’t go her way—she still couldn’t remember a thing.

"What’s with you lately? Why are you so eager to know what happened in the past?" Jared Quinn braced one hand on the table, watching the surveillance footage along with her.

"Mm..." Melody Thorne answered perfunctorily, really wanting to tell Jared Quinn it was because of Mrs. Quinn, who kept trying to do her harm.

But would Jared Quinn actually believe her?

"Is there any way to make me recover faster?" Melody Thorne scratched her hair. "I want to remember as soon as possible!"

"Don’t rush it, this kind of thing doesn’t work if you rush. I’ll have Leon Rivers think of something." Jared Quinn pulled her small hand away and wrapped her in his arms.

The next day.

Jared Quinn went to the company, and Melody Thorne drove herself to the hospital to find Dr. Mo.

"Well? Can I get my memory back soon?" Melody Thorne asked nervously.

Dr. Mo looked at the test results from her latest exam. "From what we can see for now, there’s still some congestion in your brain, but it’s improved a lot. As for recovering your memory, no one can guarantee that."

"So you mean you still don’t know when I’ll remember, right?" Disappointment flickered in Melody Thorne’s eyes.

"Madam, why are you suddenly in such a hurry?" Dr. Mo looked at her, puzzled.

"It’s nothing, I’m heading back first." Melody Thorne didn’t want to bring up Mrs. Quinn.

She had just stepped out of the elevator when she bumped into someone.

"Sorry, are you okay?" The woman took off her sunglasses and looked at her.

"I’m fine." Melody Thorne didn’t get a clear look at the woman’s face and walked off.

Han Shan stared at the elevator doors as they closed, a faint smile curling at her lips.

Melody Thorne?

Melody Thorne drove out of the hospital and answered a call halfway. "I’m serious. No matter what it takes, I want to get my memory back!"
