Chapter 1534: Chapter 1533: Did You Hear The News?

I was in the midst of completing yet another stack of dreary, boring, soul sapping paperwork regarding shipments between the March and a neighboring Barony when my office door was slammed open.

Not only was it slammed open – very much not appreciated, by the way, since that door was made from some very nice wood – but my neatly stacked and organized papers were suddenly pushed aside as Julie rushed in, panting like she had just run here from the city.

Slowly looking up at the panting Dogkin, I held my tongue and just waited for her, already knowing that if this wasn’t something ’incredible’ I was going to have to punish her later tonight… either by pounding that amazing ass of hers – literally, since she wasn’t too into that – or making liberal use of a whip just to make sure she was properly trained…

Thankfully she seemed to understand that just barging in wasn’t something that should be done unless the circumstances demanded it, and this time she had a very good reason to do so since the first words out of her mouth were “Kat’s pregnant!”

That made my brain shut off for a few moments as I just stared at her, wondering what that meant and such before she added “And apparently Anput is as well!”, which was another rush of confusion that had me blinking a few times.

“They… what? Kat and Anput are… They’re… pregnant..? How?”

Julie blushed at that, just handing a letter to me and letting me read it instead of answering the question that she took in entirely the wrong way since I knew ’how’ they were pregnant – I very much knew ’how’ to get a woman pregnant – but I was just… flabbergasted and confused as to HOW they were pregnant already.

Anput especially since she could only get impregnated by either a Demoness or a Vampire with mysterious Devil blood or whatever, so the fact that she was pregnant was just… mind boggling, though as I read the letter I knew it was real.

That was Kat’s handwriting, that was Jahi’s stamp, and it was both of their writing cadence on this paper too; they had no idea how it happened so early or how they got pregnant at the same time, nor did they know who had who’s baby, but they did know it happened.

Confirmed by three different Cimeriesa’s and also by Kat ’suffering’ from a few clear signs, so… that was that, I guess.

“Did… Does Ria know?”

“Y-Yes, she was the one who gave the letter to me! She went to start packing some things and get both Alessandria and Lakshmi ready for another trip, but-”

I groaned and stared at the papers on the desk before looking at the letter in my hand, exhaustion already settling in since I knew this meant a whole upheaval of the schedule we had just barely returned to.

It was a warranted one and I very much wanted to be there since one of those babies could by my grandchild by blood, but at the same time I had so much work that had been neglected already because of our prolonged vacations…

As if sensing that Ria glided into the office and said “I already told the appropriate people that we are going to need all the paperwork transported over to Arx Amator, so don’t even think of complaining.”

With that it was decided that we were going back to visit Jahi and everyone so quickly after we had left, but it wasn’t like we had much of a choice… nor did I want to be anywhere else in the world even with all this damned paperwork.

Sultana PoV

“Kio, will you..?”

Letting out a long sigh, I stared at the Dogkin rushing around the room with a mixture of love and tiredness, though the moment she heard the sigh she immediately started marching towards me with her finger pointed right at my chest.

“Will I what? My – OUR – daughter got knocked up! You think I’m going to let her go through all of this without me being there?! Our first grandchild and you want me to relax?!”

“Love… I don’t want you to ’relax’, but I would like you to start planning this out. Are we really going to require three separate changes of winter clothing when we aren’t visiting during the winter..? Or heading to a location that is cold?”

That made the Dogkin freeze as she turned to look at the strewn together luggage, so I took that as my answer and stepped forwards, reaching for her waist and pulling her into a hug as I added “Think it through… and remember, whatever we forget we can have brought to us or we can buy, alright?”

She melted a little at that, the stiffness and worry fading away slowly as she just nodded and hugged me back, though after a moment she pulled away and narrowed her eyes at me as she asked “Why are you hard?”

Staring at her in silence, I kept my attention focused on her eyes and not on her very much not properly worn outfit, since most of my fun had come from seeing her run around this room completely exposed…

Also…

“Do I need to have a reason to want to hold my woman?”

Kio narrowed her eyes even more before she let out a huff and shook her head, unable to find an argument right now as she just turned back towards the luggage and continued to throw in random things…

Watching her with veiled amusement, I let my mind wander towards the letter that had sparked all of this; I was actually rather surprised to find myself… feeling so much because of it, to the point that I was quite… unsettled.

Excitement, intrigue, worry and more warred within me, hence why I had been so quick to seek pleasure, though it also had my mind constantly moving as I just kept replaying the same line in my head over and over again.

Anput was pregnant.

My little pup was about to have her own pups…

After it swam around my head a few times I just let out a soft growl when the various emotions got too high, so before she could react I flung Kio onto the bed and climbed onto her, partaking in her body now lest I go crazy later.

Also… I won’t deny that a part of me was feeling a little ’competitive’ with the idea of getting Kio pregnant yet again as well…
