Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4698: Moirai IV

Chapter 4698: Moirai IV

As he viewed the scenes of THE Scorched in the glimmers of golden light of The Fragment of THE Moirai Threads, the Partial Simulation continued.

Your battle against THE Scorched Leviathan of Cinders was a glorious one.

This creature uniquely utilized Dogma and not Imposition, its ancient expressions of authority fueled by the very flames that consumed its existence.

Partial scenes of the battle have been observed:

The Scorched Leviathan declared a Dogma of Purifying Flame, seeking to establish that all things within its presence must burn and be cleansed of impurity.

You countered with the Philology of Undifferentiated Mana, arguing that Mana cannot be purified because it already exists in its most fundamental state.

The clash of Dogma against your philosophical framework created cascades of destruction across the Wastes.

Result: Victory.

Your Weavings and Phonemes move once more to form the best possible loot.

2 Fragments of THE Moirai Threads form from THE Scorched Leviathan of Cinders.

Current Fragment Count: 2/9

You begin sifting through its memories.

Note: Only partial memories are available due to this Partial Simulation.

Discovery: The direction you are heading toward is actually one THE Scorched was veering away from.

The creature fled from something it deemed too dangerous even for its flame-wreathed existence.

You do not hesitate as you continue in the same direction, seeking the corrupted domain from the memories of the Gulper Eel.

...!

You traverse regions where the ashen clouds condense into liquid devastation that rains upward from the ground.

Your Logos of Protection are tested repeatedly as you navigate zones where time inverts without warning.

You encounter pockets of frozen time where lesser False THE creatures are trapped mid-motion, their expressions forever locked in terror.

You bypass regions where sound becomes visible and silence becomes lethal, your Phonemes of The First Tongue guiding you through.

You discover areas where the very concept of distance has been corrupted, with single steps covering miles or miles covering inches unpredictably.

You note paths and landmarks, committing them to memory for your eventual passage.

Time passes. Struggles compound. Your existence is tested again and again.

But you persevere.

...!

After some time and annoyances, you feel something immense far ahead.

You come across a massive crimson-gold cloudy barrier that extends for countless miles, shrouded by the ashen clouds and flames of THE Fallout.

Everything within your existence screams danger at observing this place.

Your instincts, honed through countless battles and near-death experiences, tell you to turn back.

But defiance is in your nature.

You take a step forward and go in.

...!

The golden light around Noah flickered gloriously as his eyes pulsed with a gold light while he saw the scenes of the domain he was entering clearly.

It felt grand and ancient.

It was not hard to enter the domain at all.

Your existence was even uncontrollably pulled into it once you crossed the threshold.

As you passed through the crimson-gold barrier, your existence was pulled on all sides.

Its integrity was almost destroyed by forces that seemed to want to reshape you into something compatible with this ancient place.

But you persevered.

Your existence burned with glorious defiance.

You demanded information.

Your Phonemes expressed their power gloriously, the nine newly forged letters of The First Tongue reaching out to extract meaning from the incomprehensible.

Information begins to flow...

DOMAIN IDENTIFIED: THE CORRUPTED VAULT OF GINNUNGAGAP

This Vault predates The First Tongue’s differentiation.

It originates from an era when Existence was still learning to define itself.

It is a remnant of Ginnungagap that was torn open by THE Fallout and corrupted by the collision of primordial energies with the catastrophic changes to Observable Existence.

The Vault operates on principles that predate the modern Depth system.

Ancient expressions of authority hold sway here.

Current Location: The Second Circle

Designation: The Stoa of Dogmata

You are arriving in the Second Circle of THE Corrupted Vault of Ginnungagap.

Warning: You have bypassed the First Circle entirely through unknown means.

...!

Noah’s eyes flickered as he saw a grand and unfathomable scene.

The Stoa of Dogmata stretched before him in impossible grandeur.

An endless colonnade of pillars rose toward a ceiling that did not exist, each one carved from crystallized authority that predated differentiation itself. The pillars were inscribed with Dogmata from the ancient era, each inscription glowing with the conviction of beings who had believed so absolutely in their truths that reality itself had bent to accommodate them.

Some pillars burned with cold fire. Others wept tears of solidified time. Still others hummed with frequencies that made his very existence vibrate in uncomfortable waves.

The space between pillars was filled with zones of doctrine, visible as faintly shimmering barriers that separated one philosophical framework from another. He could see where one zone ended and another began, the boundaries marked by subtle shifts in the color of light, the texture of space, the very feel of reality.

And he could only see the immediate mile or two around him.

Further in, multicolored clouds covered everything, obscuring the depths of the Stoa in mystery. He sensed immense dangers lurking within those clouds!

But he also sensed opportunities!

Treasures waiting to be claimed by those bold enough to navigate.

As you gaze at this region of THE Corrupted Vault of Ginnungagap you arrived in, you do not realize that meters to your right was a humanoid figure of a woman watching you with an intrigued smile.

You happen to see her only when your gaze directly lands on her, your perception being unable to even perceive her through any other means.

She looks toward you for a few seconds longer before she seemingly loses interest and goes back to staring at the endless expanse ahead.

You feel absolutely nothing from this woman.

No Depth. No Way. No Weavings of Existence. Nothing.

As if she does not exist at all.

As if she is a hole in reality shaped like a person.

You are cautious, seeking answers through The First Tongue.

An imperceptible Weaving of power unfolds from you, reaching toward her to extract information.

The entity shockingly senses what you tried to do.

She is surprised.

Then she waves her hand.

A shocking force smacks into you and nearly crushes your existence entirely.

80% of your protective Logos and Philologies are decimated in an instant.

You are thrown backward, your existence screaming in agony as you struggle to maintain coherence.

The woman speaks for the first time in a warning.

Her voice is unfathomably grand and serene as she says in The First Tongue:

||Do not do that again.||

Barely grasping what remains of your existence, you see a prompt that tells you the only piece of information you managed to obtain from the entity.

A single distinction extracted at the cost of nearly everything:

Designation: Eon.

...!

BOOM!

Fragment strain has exceeded sustainable parameters.

Information extraction has reached critical threshold.

The glimpses of potential future are fragmenting.

Partial Simulation ending.

Returning to present moment.

...!

The golden light around Noah shattered like glass as he was forcibly ejected from the vision.

He gasped, his existence trembling from the phantom pain of injuries he had not yet sustained. His heart pounded against the golden thread still wrapped around it, and for a moment, he could still feel the echo of that woman’s casual dismissal, the way she had destroyed 80% of his defenses with a wave of her hand!

Eon.

That single word burned in his mind with terrifying weight.

Noah stood in the gray Wastes outside THE Infiniverse, the golden thread around his heart slowly releasing its grip as the Fragment of THE Moirai Threads faded into dormancy!
