Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3921: Aeternitas Concordia! IV

Chapter 3921: Aeternitas Concordia! IV

Noah stepped back from the space of shared consciousness with the easy grace of one accustomed to such things.

The quickest to react was, unsurprisingly, the hidden Living Law!

Kaedric Voss moved with fluid precision, stepping forward in a motion that seemed casual but carried within it the coiled readiness of a predator suddenly alert to potential threat.

His youthful features- still maintaining that carefully constructed facade of harmlessness- sharpened as his eyes swept over Noah and Sigrid with the systematic thoroughness of a Living Law.

Simultaneously, Seraphina Valorheart’s instincts kicked into full awareness.

Her hands found Alexander’s shoulders and pulled him back slightly while her body shifted to place itself squarely between him and them!

When she spoke, her voice carried the crisp authority of someone accustomed to being obeyed without question, but it was extremely cautious!

"Who are you?"

...!

Noah’s response was casual, his smile deepening with what could only be described as genuine amusement.

"I am actually someone who is rooting for you, Seraphina," he said, his voice carrying encouragement!

Without waiting for a response, Noah turned and began walking away, his hand finding Sigrid’s with the natural ease.

Their departure was unhurried, almost leisurely, as if they were simply continuing a pleasant stroll.

Behind them, Seraphina stood frozen in shocked confusion.

She turned to Alexander with the sharp movement of someone seeking answers.

"Who are they?" she whispered,"You did not mention others knowing your identity..."

Alexander’s response was measured, delivered with the careful neutrality. His hands rose to gently remove hers from his shoulders, the gesture simultaneously intimate and distancing as he sought to reestablish the boundaries that were there.

"They are just some friends, nothing to worry about."

WAA!

Seraphina blinked, and a moment later, she tilted her head as she replied truthfully.

"You... do not have any friends."

...!

"..." Alexander could not entirely deny this!

He offered no reply, choosing instead to release a sigh as he simply began moving forward.

Seraphina turned to Kaedric Voss.

The Living Law’s response was delivered with the lazy drawl of someone whose attention was already moving on to other concerns.

"Yeah, yeah, I’ll keep an eye on them," he said, his tone carrying casual dismissiveness.

"They are just mere Fold Dwellers."

...!

In the distance, Noah’s smile widened as the words reached his hearing. His gaze shifted forward, focusing on the magnificent structure that awaited them just ahead.

The Living Coalition Gateway rose before them like a monument, its archway wrought from golden brilliance that seemed to pulse with its own inner rhythm.

The light that emanated from its surface was welcoming, carrying within it the promise of recognition and purpose that had drawn countless beings across impossible distances to stand before its threshold.

Each individual or group that passed through the gateway was subjected to a gentle but thorough analysis, their very essence examined and catalogued.

Within seconds of crossing that threshold, the results of that examination would manifest in the form of a rune- one of nine possible designations that would determine not just their immediate fate but their role in the Battlefront Folds reaching towards the Loom!

Noah watched with fascination as an entire group moved through the gateway’s embrace, their forms bathed in the analytical light before being marked with the multicolored brilliance that designated them as products of the Quantum Folds.

The newly designated Fold Dwellers passed through with expressions of hopeful anticipation, their steps carrying them toward what Noah now recognized as the next stage of their journey.

Beyond the gateway lay a white circular clearing that served as a gathering point for those who had received their designations.

His distinction as thr Weaver of Existence flashed as the identity of this space bloomed!

The Circle of Convergence!

The Circle of Convergence was surrounded by nine smaller statues, each one a scaled-down version of the magnificent monuments that crowned the floating continents above.

These statues served as more than mere decoration; they were conduits through which the Living Existences could observe and evaluate the assembled Fold Dwellers, their stone eyes occasionally flashing with the light of attention as Sponsors made their selections known.

Thousands of beings filled the space around the circle- Fold Dwellers of every conceivable description mixed freely with Living Existences who floated grandly or sat on thrones surrounded by others of the same Living Existential Authority.

The atmosphere thrummed with anticipation and barely suppressed anxiety as the resources and safety of the future of many hung in the balance of decisions made by beings whose motivations were unknown!

The group designated as Quantum Fold Dwellers took their positions within the circle, their nervous energy palpable as they waited for the judgment that would determine their immediate future.

Seconds stretched as they stood beneath the watchful gaze of the statues.

But the Quantum statue remained dark, its stone eyes reflecting nothing but indifference toward those who bore its mark.

Their confidence began to waver, each passing second adding weight to the possibility that they would be left unsponsored, unclaimed, and with no patron!

Then, just as despair began to creep into their expressions, salvation arrived in the form of a voice that echoed across the Circle of Convergence with the authority of a glorious proclamation.

The Prime Living Temporal Porana has chosen to sponsor the Quantum Fold Dwellers on the square!

HUUM!

Relief flooded their faces, their expressions transforming from anxiety to joy in the space of a heartbeat. A multicolored coin materialized above them, its surface wreathed in Living Existential Authority that made the very air around it shimmer with possibility.

The group’s leader reached up to claim their prize with trembling hands, bowing deeply before leading his companions toward the far side of the square where a shimmering golden veil concealed what appeared to be a marketplace buzzing with activity.𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

Noah observed this ritual with fascination, his mind already beginning to piece together the underlying mechanisms that governed Aeternitas Concordia!

The next arrival before the Gateway was a solitary figure whose very presence seemed to dim the light around him.

Dark-haired and cold-eyed, he carried himself with the casual confidence of someone who had long since stopped caring about the opinions of others.

The sword at his side rested in a sheath shaped like the hand of a clock, its presence adding an ominous note to an already intimidating figure.

Noahs weavings already observed this being and saw over ninety-five million in both Complexity and Purity Quotients, placing him among the most formidable Fold Dwellers!

When the gateway’s light touched him, a purple rune flashed above his head, marking him as a product of the Temporal Folds.

The dark-haired swordsman stepped into the Circle of Convergence with the unhurried pace.

He had barely taken his position when the air around him began to vibrate with competing authorities.

The Prime Living Origin Dexus has chosen to sponsor the Temporal Fold Dweller on the square!

The Prime Living Elemental Firan has chosen to sponsor the Temporal Fold Dweller on the square!

The Prime Living Concept Adyan has chosen to sponsor the Temporal Fold Dweller on the square!

The announcements came in rapid succession, each one accompanied by the materialization of a coin that pulsed with its own unique signature of power.

Noah watched with growing interest as multiple Living Existences competed for the privilege of claiming this particular prize, their offers manifesting as tangible tokens of their attention.

The swordsman surveyed his options, and after a moment’s consideration, he reached up to claim the largest bundle- five coins that shone with purple radiance, accepting the sponsorship of a Prime Living Temporal while politely declining the others through a series of respectful bows.

A few others past and underwent similar processes, until eventually...it came time for them!

As Noah and Sigrid finally approached the gateway itself, he found his mind buzzing with possibilities of how things would unfold.

"Let’s see." he murmured to Sigrid as they stepped up to the threshold.

Sigrid nodded, her expression carefully composed as they stepped forward together into the golden embrace of the Living Coalition Gateway.

The analytical light washed over them with a gentle intensity.

Then came the booming sound, drawing every eye nearby to focus on their position with magnetic inevitability!

HUUM!

The gateway flashed, its golden brilliance suddenly overwhelmed by something far darker and more ominous.

Deep obsidian light erupted from its archway like blood seeping through bandages, painting everything within sight in shades of contradiction and impossibility.

Above Noah and Sigrid’s heads, defying every expectation and shattering the careful order that had governed this place, a rune materialized in letters that seemed to burn against the very fabric of existence itself.

PARADOX!

Oh!

Paradox!

The word hung in the air like a curse made manifest, its presence transforming the Circle of Convergence from a place of hopeful anticipation into something that resembled a courtroom where the verdict had already been delivered!
