I'll Surpass The MC

Chapter 1102: Calamity Recovery (Part 5)

Chapter 1102: Calamity Recovery (Part 5)

Minor Treasure—Mystic Human Stamp!

Minor Treasure—Spirit Puppet!

The moment they were thrown out, a Mystic Ewworm puppet lunged out of the ground to grab it. However, rings of Rutham covered the two Minor Treasures, following which they turned into golden flashes and appeared next to Orakha.

“Dammit!” Orakha cursed in frustration, ’I wanted to use him to stop the Brood Mother for as long as possible.’

He flicked his hand, surveyed the region, and used Thought Condensation to figure out where the Mystic Ewworm puppet with Rirenal was hiding at. He retracted it and merged it back into his Human Avatar.

He then stared at the cocoon before him, grunting in frustration. His presence spiked as the air trembled violently in response.

State of Harmony—Future Sight!

“Hmm?” Orakha landed before Zhya and pressed upon the latter’s shoulder, assisting Wally in closing the gap. However, he also placed the Mystic Human Stamp upon the latter.

“What?” Wally blurted out in shock and blocked the Mystic Human Stamp, only to find himself being raised to the sky. Instinctively, he tried to control it, only to see the target disintegrate, ’He used Prana Solidification.’

Had Orakha used Rirenal, Wally would have easily taken control over it. That was why he created a construct out of Prana and boosted it using his Rirenal build’s psychokinesis to instantly move away Wally.

Goong!

Slowly, appearing in a seated position atop the Mystic Human Stamp that expanded to its actual size was a Mystic Tentacle.

“Uh…Sir?” Nirat asked upon seeing Orakha silently observe the inheritance.

“You want this?” Orakha asked upon staring at Nirat and without hesitation, nodded casually, “It is yours to keep.”

Minor Treasure—Linked Transfer!

Nirat observed two Minor Treasures of Linked Transfer in his being now, feeling overjoyed by it. He hurriedly bowed, “Thank you, Sir!”

Tertiary Nature—Thought Condensation!

A large pile of Gold Grade Calara appeared before Nirat as Orakha spoke, “Even though you don’t need it, keep it safe. Either use it yourself or give it to a talented descendant of yours.”

By now the Death Tentacle Inheritance had fully been extracted out of Zhya. Orakha touched it and absorbed it, upon which he silently shed tears, “Ahhh!”

“Thank you for your sacrifice, my predecessor.” He silently offered a prayer in respect and then lifted his head to see that Zhya had gained consciousness now. Her body had stabilised, following which her Prana healed her all the way.

Assuming human form, Zhya glared at Orakha, “You stole the Death Tentacle Inheritance.”

“Be glad I didn’t erase its memory from your mind space.” Orakha uttered calmly, “This inheritance will only be wasted in your possession.”

“The Quip Clan doesn’t even need this.” Orakha stated his analysis, “Merely the data of the inheritance is enough for you. The inheritance itself isn’t your priority, right?”

“So, I’m keeping it.”

Zhya remained silent and subtly noticed Wally landing a few kilometres away. She then eyed the cocoon farther away and shuddered. Closing her eyes, she focused on the information present in her.

The moment she touched the Death Tentacle Inheritance and absorbed it into her mindspace, she relied upon her Bolt of Transcendence nervous system to instantly comprehend its details. So, even if she didn’t have the inheritance itself, she had all its relevant knowledge.

That was enough, for now, as she had other things to worry about. Slowly, she got up and stared at Orakha, speaking upon pointing at the cocoon, “Do you intend to block her from entering the Transcendent Plane?”

“Sumatra will be destroyed if she enters there.”

“I’m aware,” Orakha said and took to the sky, “Which is why I am doing everything I can to stop her.”

“Urgh,” Zhya groaned upon seeing Orakha leave. She then turned her head and watched Wally rush to her side.

“Are you alright?” Wally asked in a hurry as he inspected Zhya’s condition.

“I am now.” Zhya nodded with a sullen mood, “However, I don’t wish to take another hit like that.”

“What about the inheritance?” Wally asked and then stared at Orakha, “He took all the Minor Treasures.”

A second later, Wally’s expression hardened upon noticing a small box hover beside Orakha, “A container?”

It was small, barely the size of his head. The only reason Orakha would even create a container in this situation was obvious, “He took all the Sumatra Gold available here.”

“I don’t like this arrogance…” Wally uttered as veins popped across his face. The more he stared at the Minor Treasures that Orakha had taken from him, the more he seemed willing to take the risk and become a pinnacle existence, “I…”

“Stop!” Zhya grabbed Wally by the shoulder and shook her head, “Don’t give in to a moment’s impulse. You’ll end up wasting everything you did over the years.”

[Remember!]

Using a Tangible Piezo Slip, Zhya triggered Wally’s memories from the time the Celestial Boar invaded the Cooter Clan branch in the Dralh Sea and slaughtered them all. Wally escaped with Resha, only because it wasn’t the time yet.

“Without you, the Cooter Clan will never be able to break past their existing mould.” Zhya uttered in restrain, “So, control yourself.”

Subtly, Nirat stood at the side, within Spirit Weapon range from Wally. The moment Wally’s emotions stirred, there was an internal change in his Primary Nature.

In response, Nirat’s lips curled up faintly, for the generated influence spiked. Closing his eyes, he calmed himself and focused on enduring the influence generated by Wally’s Subtle Terrain Domination.

In the sky, hovering tensely was Orakha, glaring at the cocoon before him, “Eat slow…take your time…savour your food, dammit!”

There was no fluctuation from the cocoon at the start. But soon, a tree of Prana began to grow and form fruits. One of them ripened and hatched, dropping down a blob of flesh.

The blob of flesh wriggled and grew into a serpent with the head of a boar. The creature barely reached ten metres in length, gradually growing a thick mane over the head while crystalline scales covered its body, resembling Tratham.

Mutated Beginner Silver Grade Pranic Beast—Empyrean Trathent!

With a Prana capacity of 1384 and a lifespan of 310 years, the Empyrean Trathent was a creature meant to be a mobile hunter. A few seconds post birth, its first layer of skin peeled off, revealing stronger scales inside.

The boar head became more streamlined, with two tusks at the snout that joined together to resemble the blade of an axe. It was aerodynamic, allowing the creature to move swiftly through the air.

Slowly, a violet radiance emanated from the creature’s body, lifting it a metre into the air. Soon after, it started to fly. Its horn shone crimson and beamed out a crimson blade of light moments before flying into a rock.

The beam of light cut through the rock in a shape exactly mirroring the girth of its serpentine body. And then, the Empyrean Trathent passed through the obstacle.

Primary Nature—Gentle Spectrum Psychokinesis!

it allowed the Empyrean Trathent to exhibit similar properties to Tratham. However, it was weaker and limited to Spirit Weapon Range. The emitted light would completely scatter once it moves beyond the Spirit Weapon Range and have no destructive properties.

From the moment of its birth, the Empyrean Trathent would fly above ground, using the forcefield it generates to fly. Of course, at maturity, it would be able to move at most through an altitude of 180 metres. That was its Spirit Weapon range, and its limit.

It used psychokinesis to push against the ground and move across the air within its Spirit Weapon range. Typically, it moved instinctively, based on the light spectrum it sensed. Any obstacles in its path were punctured through.

It generally had enough speed to avoid attacks from most Silver Grade Pranic Beasts. Of course, when its speed and penetrative power wasn’t sufficient, it had a trump card.

Secondary Nature—Bile Release!

The Empyrean Tratham had a storage organ in its body, similar to a stomach that was filled with a jelly-like substance. This substance was capable of refracting and storing light.

When endangered, the Empyrean Tratham would ooze this bile through its scales and then unleash its Primary Nature, emitting violet light. This would curve through the thin layer, concentrating the violent radiance’s defensive power in the layer to maximise the Empyrean Trathent’s defensive power.

It was pretty powerful as a Pranic Beast. But Orakha wasn’t concerned about its birth. Rather, as the number of Empyrean Trathent increased from one to two, to ten, and soon hit fifty, his expression collapsed. “Dammit!”

“She has almost finished eating Brangara.” He glanced around himself, eyed the trio of Wally, Zhya, and Nirat, and then made his choice.

Boom!

The terrain in a radius of 10 kilometres changed, as a wall of earth rose up and began to cage them in.

“You intend to trap us here?” Wally shouted in a foul mood as he glared at Orakha and then eyed the cocoon, “To face that creature?”

“Buy time until my return.” Orakha said as he spontaneously made an analysis. He looked down on Wally from above, “You are indeed capable of it once you let go of yourself.”

“I will flee,” Wally spat out in disgust.

“It’s up to you,” Orakha turned into a golden flash, appeared behind Wally and faced his palm towards the latter’s back. “After all,”

Secondary Nature—Prana Solidification!

Prana gathered into a sphere before his palm, which was boosted by his Rirenal build. And then, he simply exploded it, unleashing a destructive beam of psychokinesis which sent Wally flying towards the cocoon that cracked in that exact moment.

“You’ll have to defend yourself.” Saying as he watched Wally fly into the cocoon, Orakha’s Spirit Weapon grabbed an Empyrean Trathent to block a Tangible Piezo Slip. And before Zhya’s next attack could hit him, he flew out of the block of earth that closed up.

The moment he came out, his heart thumped tensely, as before him, a vortex of light began to form, “It’s time.”

The vortex of light twisted space and sucked him inside, bringing him into a place where most cultivators would die in an instant. It was the most dangerous region on Sumatra.
