Chapter 1095: Yali Clan’s Cultivation Progression

Chapter 1095: Yali Clan’s Cultivation Progression

A Clan specialised to naturally produce Prana in their bodies, at the fastest possible speed for their Grade, one where every Clansman’s identity is fixed, and would repeat across the generations, that was the Yali Clan.

It was a Clan born with a State of Harmony, operating at the highest possible level of development naturally attainable on Sumatra, from birth.

“Fuuoh!” Bora exhaled softly once he had recovered Prana to his current capacity of four units. He then felt it circulate through his body, freely, and then flow through a container of sorts that was present in the place his stomach was supposed to be.

It was a solid object, shaped like a cylinder that was ten centimetres long and sported a radius of 2.5 centimetres. The edges were tapered. And attached to the top was a sphere with a radius of two centimetres.

The contact point of the sphere aligned with the end of the taper. As Bora observed it, an incision appeared on his stomach area, and then, the object flew out.

Black ivory in colour, possessing physical properties around nine-tenths that of the tusk of an Empyrean Tusk, was this object. The moment it hovered in the air, Bora grunted, feeling a unit of Prana getting consumed in under two seconds.

He then grabbed the object and found his arm getting dragged to the ground, suffering a fracture, “This is significantly heavier than a Storage Lantern of the same size.”

That tiny object weighed close to 140 kilograms, making it practically impossible for the current Boar to hold it, “I need to reach the same level as my adult physique of the past to hold it steady.”

His psychokinesis, however, was able to wield it, albeit at a faster Prana usage. And the moment he thought of controlling it again was when Bora noticed something was different, “Huh?”

The stream of Prana generating the psychokinesis didn’t come from him. Rather, it originated from the ivory black Spirit Weapon and made contact with him. It formed a bridge for his mental input to reach the other side, to be controlled.

“I’ve never heard or seen such a Spirit Weapon.” Bora uttered, “What has my Deity done?”

Before his Prana was fully drained, Bora controlled the Spirit Weapon to move into the nearby tree and watched it stick to the tree bark, ’Same adhesive characteristics as a Prana Bomb.’

And then, the Spirit Weapon began to sweat, ejecting out the waste components of the fluid it was absorbing from the tree. It was a slow process, a lot slower than Bora doing the same.

However, while it did that, Bora could just…chill. “Is that how it works?”

In his body wasn’t a Spirit Container. The Spirit Container was one with the ivory black Spirit Weapon. it stored Prana. Whatever was present in his body was merely the Prana that could be contained by his blood and circulated through his body without stress.

As he watched his Spirit Weapon in action, it clicked into his mind on what he had to do next, “I got it.”

Cultivation Technique—Mystic Refiner Art!

The ivory black Spirit Weapon would, even out of Spirit Weapon range, continue generating Prana through absorbing fluid biomass. The process would stop once it hits its storage capacity.

Through the Spirit Stage, Bora’s task would be to remain in Spirit Weapon range of the ivory black Spirit Weapon and use Mystic Refiner Art to improve its absorbing and processing speed.

As for the source, it was him. Basically, he would have to upgrade his Spirit Weapon’s Prana generation capacity until it was on par with his body. Once that is achieved, the Prana capacity of his Spirit Weapon would reach the peak of the Spirit Stage, at 100 units.

Gong!

The moment he activated the cultivation technique, Bora found himself in his mind space, staring at a series of data clusters before him. Towards the perceivable end of the mind space were three doors. ꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀᴛ ᴛᴏ ʀᴀᴅ ᴍᴏʀ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛʀs, ᴘʟᴀs ᴠsᴛ nοvelfire.net

Mystic Refiner Art—Door of Awakening!

This was similar to Mahira Tusk’s inheritance, a peak ability conjured through the mindspace alone, one capable of influencing Prana on its own.

There were three Doors of Awakening, accessible upon reaching the peak of the Spirit Stage. The information granted by Mystic Refiner Art only informed him of this. There was no other information, ’So, similar to Mystic Bone Art, this is locked between the Stages.’

All he knew was that the Doors of Awakening were similar to a Pranic Beast egg for a Mammoth Clansman. And that was enough information, “The fact that there are three should only mean one thing,”

“Hahaha!” Returning to reality, Bora burst into laughter, “There’s a natural progression for obtaining all three Natures.”

Prana seemed to be the only external substance required by a Yali Clansman. At the Spirit Stage, that was all he needed. Find a robust enough tree, stick his Spirit Container to it, and improve its Prana generation speed.

And once it was on par with his body, he’d be able to access the Door of Awakening in his mind space.

Bora then approached the tree and stuck his tongue to it, feeling nauseous for a while. He backed off and muttered, “I’ve hit the limit of how much Prana could naturally circulate through my body.”

It was a single unit’s worth. If he tried to absorb any more, which he could, he would feel nauseous. His body would make him puke, in which process, the excess Prana would be ejected out of his body. Either that or he would spasm and sweat copious amounts to eject Prana.

Both cases would be dangerous for his current body, so Bora didn’t do anything unnecessary. “Thankfully, this is easy.”

He already had significant experience wielding Prana all his life. And his body was the perfect reference. So, simply by understanding how his body refined Prana out of tree sap, he could improve the Prana generation rate of the ivory black Spirit Weapon.

In a matter of minutes, he had already unlocked a Prana capacity up to sixty units, ’A brat would need to spend years understanding how everything works.’

’But for me, this is all familiar.’ He thought casually. After all, the logic behind this new power system was based upon the Mammoth Clan, which he was extremely familiar with.

“Urgh, did we succeed.” Soon, Asaeya gained consciousness as she looked around in puzzlement. For a moment, she was startled to not see Gannala anywhere. And then, upon seeing the ivory black Spirit Weapon near Bora, she calmed down and smiled, “So, it was a success.”

“Everything went as planned. Thank…goodness!” She shed tears in relief and then gathered her bearings. With a casual brush of hands, she plucked her hair, joined the ends and created a long string.

Mystic Refiner Art—Fabric!

It was theoretically conceptualised beforehand, as the most basic Skill a Yali Clansman would need. ’I argued against it, since a Skill is overkill for mere clothes. But, she made one anyway.’

Asaeya placed her tongue on a tree to absorb Prana, which she used to activate the Skill. Her skull regrew hair as traces of blood on it vanished.

The Prana flowed through the hair string and used its body aspect to treat the latter as a limb and bent it. It was a barebones exercise of influence, which Mammoth Clansmen used to clean themselves and maintain personal hygiene.

The hair string bent, formed knots, and coiled around itself. A few minutes later, after close to five units of Prana was consumed, a comfortable gown was ready. Asaeya had stitched it around herself, so the dress was perfectly proportional to her size.

She then glanced at Bora, found the latter seated cross-legged naked before a tree and clicked her tongue, “Barbarian.”

Sensing the presence from the other party’s Spirit Weapon, she judged Bora’s Prana levels had reached around twenty units. Unlike Bora, she didn’t need to self-inspect, for she was aware of all the details anyway.

She was actively involved in Gannala’s calculation. And now, upon seeing the function of Mystic Refiner Art, she grinned, “Perfect!”

Their Spirit Weapon was a body part, which naturally grew in the stomachs of all Yali Clansmen. It shattering was no different from losing one’s Spirit Weapon, so one must exercise caution while employing its usage.

’Thankfully, it is robust enough to not be damaged easily.’ Asaeya thought. Even if her Spirit Weapon were to shatter, it was a body part. Therefore, as long as she had Prana, a new Spirit Weapon would grow in her body.

Though slow, she could generate Prana on her own, without the aid of her Spirit Weapon—which doubled as a Sprit Container.

Eventually, she would have a Spirit Weapon. That wasn’t all. Asaeya smirked as she walked away from her Spirit Weapon, until she was out of Spirit Weapon range.

Then, she stabbed her tongue into a tree and watched a new Spirit Weapon begin to form in her body, ’This works too. Perfect!’

The second Spirit Weapon was a backup plan, when the first gets destroyed. Moreover, at peak, it could store 100 units of Prana.

Considering how they functioned, Asaeya could only use one Spirit Weapon at a time. However, the moment the first Spirit Weapon’s Prana gets consumed, she could switch to the second one.

It takes a lot of resources to condense an ivory black Spirit Weapon. Moreover, it would be created in its base state, with a Prana capacity of one unit. It needs to be refined to the peak, which takes time.

Of course, for someone with experience, that wasn’t an issue. And as for resource, it was just a large tree. They had already prepared a nutrient-rich region with plenty of large-trunked trees already. There was a variety, including Decodus Trees.

Exactly twenty minutes later, the Prana capacity of Asaeya’s first Spirit Weapon had already reached hundred. In around two hours, she had filled it too, and at which point, she found herself in her mind space, sanding before the first Gate of Awakening.

“I’ll have to get my Primary Nature here, and refine my Spirit Weapon to the peak of the Body Stage.” She continued, “And then, I’ll be able to build my second Spirit Weapon into the Body Stage to access the second Gate of Awakening.”

She stared at the Second Gate of Awakening, “I’ll get my Secondary Nature and then would have to refine it to the peak of the Body Stage.”

Then came the Third Gate of Awakening, where the third Spirit Weapon would hold the Tertiary Nature. “After refining all three to the peak of the Body Stage, I would be able to claim to have completed my build.”

And then came the usual, to repeat the same nine more times till one reached the peak of the 10-Life Stage.

“Now,” Asaeya placed her hand on the first Gate of Awakening, “Let’s see if everything we have planned is here.”

The gate opened and revealed a space beyond the limits of her mindspace.
